Und ein Weib von den Weibern der Söhne der Propheten schrie zu Elischa und sprach: Dein Knecht, mein Mann, ist gestorben, und du weißt, daß dein Knecht Jehovah fürchtete. Und es kommt nun der Gläubiger und will meine zwei Knaben für sich zu Knechten nehmen.

UNA mujer, de las mujeres de los hijos de los profetas, clamó á Eliseo, diciendo: Tu siervo mi marido es muerto; y tú sabes que tu siervo era temeroso de Jehová: y ha venido el acreedor para tomarse dos hijos míos por siervos.

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead. You know that your servant feared the LORD. Now the creditor has come to take for himself my two children to be slaves.”

Und Elischa sprach zu ihr: Was soll ich für dich tun? Sage mir an, was du im Hause hast. Und sie sprach: Deine Dienstmagd hat gar nichts im Hause denn ein Krüglein Öl.

Y Eliseo le dijo: ¿Qué te haré yo? Declárame qué tienes en casa. Y ella dijo: Tu sierva ninguna cosa tiene en casa, sino una botija de aceite.

And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

Elisha said to her, “What should I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She said, “Your servant has nothing in the house, except a pot of oil.”

Und er sagte: Gehe und erbitte dir Gefäße von draußen von allen deinen Nachbarinnen, leere Gefäße, und nicht wenige.

Y él le dijo: Ve, y pide para ti vasos prestados de todos tus vecinos, vasos vacíos, no pocos.

Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

Then he said, “Go, borrow empty containers from all your neighbors. Don’t borrow just a few containers.

Und gehe hinein und schließ die Tür zu hinter dir und hinter deinen Söhnen, und gieße in alle diese Gefäße, und setze die vollen weg.

Entra luego, y cierra la puerta tras ti y tras tus hijos; y echa en todos los vasos, y en estando uno lleno, ponlo aparte.

And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

Go in and shut the door on you and on your sons, and pour oil into all those containers; and set aside those which are full.”

Und sie ging von ihm und schloß die Tür hinter sich und hinter ihren Söhnen zu. Diese brachten sie ihr herzu und sie goß ein.

Y partióse la mujer de él, y cerró la puerta tras sí y tras sus hijos; y ellos le llegaban los vasos, y ella echaba del aceite.

So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

So she went from him, and shut the door on herself and on her sons. They brought the containers to her, and she poured oil.

Und es geschah, als die Gefäße voll waren, sprach sie zu ihrem Sohne: Bringe mir noch ein Gefäß herbei. Er aber sprach zu ihr: Es ist kein Gefäß mehr da; und das Öl stand.

Y como los vasos fueron llenos, dijo á un hijo suyo: Tráeme aún otro vaso. Y él dijo: No hay más vasos. Entonces cesó el aceite.

And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

When the containers were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another container.” He said to her, “There isn’t another container.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

Und sie kam und sagte es dem Manne Gottes an, und er sprach: Gehe, verkauf das Öl und erstatte deine Schuld. Und du sollst mit deinen Söhnen leben von dem, was übrig bleibt.

Vino ella luego, y contólo al varón de Dios, el cual dijo: Ve, y vende el aceite, y paga á tus acreedores; y tú y tus hijos vivid de lo que quedare.

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

Then she came and told the man of God. He said, “Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

Und eines Tages geschah es, daß Elischa nach Schunem hinüberging; und es war allda eine große Frau, die nötigte ihn, das Brot zu essen. Und es geschah, sooft er hinüberging, kehrte er dort ein, um das Brot zu essen.

Y aconteció también que un día pasaba Eliseo por Sunem; y había allí una mujer principal, la cual le constriñó á que comiese del pan: y cuando por allí pasaba, veníase á su casa á comer del pan.

And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.

One day Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a prominent woman; and she persuaded him to eat bread. So it was, that as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.

Und sie sprach zu ihrem Manne: Siehe doch, ich weiß, daß er ein heiliger Mann Gottes ist, der beständig bei uns vorübergeht.

Y ella dijo á su marido: He aquí ahora, yo entiendo que éste que siempre pasa por nuestra casa, es varón de Dios santo.

And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

She said to her husband, “See now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God who passes by us continually.

Lasset uns doch einen kleinen Söller mit Wänden machen, und da ihm ein Bett und einen Tisch und einen Stuhl und einen Leuchter hinstellen, und es soll sein, daß, wenn er zu uns kommt, er dort einkehre.

Yo te ruego que hagas una pequeña cámara de paredes, y pongamos en ella cama, y mesa, y silla, y candelero, para que cuando viniere á nosotros, se recoja en ella.

Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

Please, let’s make a little room on the roof. Let’s set a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp stand for him there. When he comes to us, he can stay there.”

Und es geschah eines Tages, daß er dort hineinkam, und in dem Söller einkehrte und allda sich niederlegte.

Y aconteció que un día vino él por allí, y recogióse en aquella cámara, y durmió en ella.

And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.

One day he came there, and he went to the room and lay there.

Und er sprach zu Gechasi, seinem Jungen: Rufe diese Schunamitin. Und er rief sie, und sie stand vor ihm.

Entonces dijo á Giezi su criado: Llama á esta Sunamita. Y como él la llamó, pareció ella delante de él.

And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him.

He said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite.” When he had called her, she stood before him.

Und er sprach zu ihm: Sprich doch zu ihr: Siehe, du warst besorgt für uns mit all dieser Besorgnis, was kann ich für dich tun? Hast du etwas, das der Rede bedarf beim König oder beim Obersten des Heeres? Und sie sprach: Ich wohne inmitten meines Volkes.

Y dijo él á Giezi: Dile: He aquí tú has estado solícita por nosotros con todo este esmero: ¿qué quieres que haga por ti? ¿has menester que hable por ti al rey, ó al general del ejército? Y ella respondió: Yo habito en medio de mi pueblo.

And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

He said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Behold, you have cared for us with all this care. What is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army?’” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”

Und er sprach: Und was ist für sie zu tun? Und Gechasi sprach: Ach, sie hat keinen Sohn und ihr Mann ist alt.

Y él dijo: ¿Qué pues haremos por ella? Y Giezi respondió: He aquí ella no tiene hijo, y su marido es viejo.

And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.

He said, “What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered, “Most certainly she has no son, and her husband is old.”

Und er sprach: Rufe sie! Und er rief sie, und sie stand am Eingang.

Dijo entonces: Llámala. Y él la llamó, y ella se paró á la puerta.

And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door.

He said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the door.

Und er sprach: Zu dieser bestimmten Zeit, um die Zeit des Lebens sollst du einen Sohn umarmen. Sie aber sprach: Nicht doch, mein Herr, Mann Gottes, täusche nicht deine Dienstmagd.

Y él le dijo: A este tiempo según el tiempo de la vida, abrazarás un hijo. Y ella dijo: No, señor mío, varón de Dios, no hagas burla de tu sierva.

And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

He said, “At this season next year, you will embrace a son.” She said, “No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Und das Weib empfing und gebar einen Sohn zu dieser bestimmten Zeit, um die Zeit des Lebens, wie Elischa zu ihr geredet hatte.

Mas la mujer concibió, y parió un hijo á aquel tiempo que Eliseo le había dicho, según el tiempo de la vida.

And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.

The woman conceived, and bore a son at that season when the time came around, as Elisha had said to her.

Und das Kind ward groß; und es geschah eines Tages, daß es hinaus zu seinem Vater zu den Schnittern ging.

Y como el niño fué grande, aconteció que un día salió á su padre, á los segadores.

And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.

When the child was grown, one day he went out to his father to the reapers.

Und er sprach zu seinem Vater: Mein Haupt, mein Haupt! Und er sprach zum Jungen: Trage es zu seiner Mutter.

Y dijo á su padre: ¡Mi cabeza, mi cabeza! Y él dijo á un criado: Llévalo á su madre.

And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.

He said to his father, “My head! My head!” He said to his servant, “Carry him to his mother.”

Und er trug es und brachte es hinein zu seiner Mutter, und er saß auf ihren Knien bis zum Mittag und starb.

Y habiéndole él tomado, y traídolo á su madre, estuvo sentado sobre sus rodillas hasta medio día, y murióse.

And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.

When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees until noon, and then died.

Und sie ging hinauf und legte ihn auf das Bett des Mannes Gottes und schloß hinter ihm zu und ging hinaus;

Ella entonces subió, y púsolo sobre la cama del varón de Dios, y cerrándole la puerta, salióse.

And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.

She went up and laid him on the man of God’s bed, and shut the door on him, and went out.

Und sie rief ihren Mann und sprach: Sende mir doch einen von den Jungen, und eine von den Eselinnen, und ich will zu dem Manne Gottes laufen und zurückkommen.

Llamando luego á su marido, díjole: Ruégote que envíes conmigo á alguno de los criados y una de las asnas, para que yo vaya corriendo al varón de Dios, y vuelva.

And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.

She called to her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants, and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come again.”

Er aber sprach: Warum willst du heute zu ihm gehen; es ist nicht Neumond und nicht Sabbath; und sie sprach: Frieden!

Y él dijo: ¿Para qué has de ir á él hoy? No es nueva luna, ni sábado. Y ella respondió: Paz.

And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.

He said, “Why would you want to go to him today? It is not a new moon or a Sabbath.” She said, “It’s all right.”

Und sie sattelte die Eselin und sprach zu ihrem Jungen: Treibe und gehe und halte mich nicht zurück im Reiten, es sei denn, daß ich dir es sage.

Después hizo enalbardar una borrica, y dijo al mozo: Guía y anda; y no me hagas detener para que suba, sino cuando yo te lo dijere.

Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee.

Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, “Drive, and go forward! Don’t slow down for me, unless I ask you to.”

Und sie ging hin und kam zu dem Manne Gottes auf den Berg Karmel; und es geschah, wie der Mann Gottes sie sich gegenüber sah, sprach er zu Gechasi, seinem Jungen: Siehe dort diese Schunamitin!

Partióse pues, y vino al varón de Dios al monte del Carmelo. Y cuando el varón de Dios la vió de lejos, dijo á su criado Giezi: He aquí la Sunamita:

So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:

So she went, and came to the man of God to Mount Carmel. When the man of God saw her afar off, he said to Gehazi his servant, “Behold, there is the Shunammite.

Lauf ihr nun doch entgegen und sprich zu ihr: Ist es Frieden mit dir? Frieden mit deinem Manne? Ist es Frieden mit dem Kinde? Und sie sprach: Frieden.

Ruégote que vayas ahora corriendo á recibirla, y dile: ¿Tienes paz? ¿y tu marido, y tu hijo? Y ella dijo: Paz.

Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.

Please run now to meet her, and ask her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with your child?’” She answered, “It is well.”

Und sie kam zu dem Manne Gottes auf den Berg und umfaßte seine Füße, und Gechasi trat hinzu, daß er sie wegstieße. Und der Mann Gottes sprach: Laß sie, denn ihre Seele ist ihr erbittert, und Jehovah hat es vor mir verborgen und mir es nicht angesagt.

Y luego que llegó al varón de Dios en el monte, asió de sus pies. Y llegóse Giezi para quitarla; mas el varón de Dios le dijo: Déjala, porque su alma está en amargura, y Jehová me ha encubierto el motivo, y no me lo ha revelado.

And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.

When she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught hold of his feet. Gehazi came near to thrust her away; but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, for her soul is troubled within her; and the LORD has hidden it from me, and has not told me.”

Und sie sprach: Habe ich von meinem Herrn einen Sohn erbeten, habe ich nicht gesagt: Täusche mich nicht?

Y ella dijo: ¿Pedí yo hijo á mi señor? ¿No dije yo, que no me burlases?

Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

Then she said, “Did I ask you for a son, my lord? Didn’t I say, ‘Do not deceive me’?”

Und er sprach zu Gechasi: Gürte deine Lenden und nimm meinen Stecken in deine Hand und gehe hin; so du einen Mann triffst, so segne ihn nicht, und wenn dich ein Mann segnet, so antworte ihm nicht, und lege meinen Stecken auf das Angesicht des Jungen.

Entonces dijo él á Giezi: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma mi bordón en tu mano, y ve; y si alguno te encontrare, no lo saludes; y si alguno te saludare, no le respondas: y pondrás mi bordón sobre el rostro del niño.

Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.

Then he said to Gehazi, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand, and go your way. If you meet any man, don’t greet him; and if anyone greets you, don’t answer him again. Then lay my staff on the child’s face.”

Und die Mutter des Jungen sprach: Beim Leben Jehovahs und beim Leben deiner Seele, ich verlasse dich nicht. Und er machte sich auf und ging hinter ihr her.

Y dijo la madre del niño: Vive Jehová, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré.

And the mother of the child said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The child’s mother said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

Gechasi aber ging hinüber vor ihnen und legte den Stecken auf das Angesicht des Jungen, aber da war keine Stimme und kein Aufmerken. Und er kam zurück, ihm entgegen, und sagte ihm an und sprach: Der Junge ist nicht erwacht.

El entonces se levantó, y siguióla. Y Giezi había ido delante de ellos, y había puesto el bordón sobre el rostro del niño, mas ni tenía voz ni sentido; y así se había vuelto para encontrar á Eliseo; y declaróselo, diciendo: El mozo no despierta.

And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

Gehazi went ahead of them, and laid the staff on the child’s face; but there was no voice and no hearing. Therefore he returned to meet him, and told him, “The child has not awakened.”

Und Elischa kam zum Haus, und siehe, der Junge war tot, auf sein Bett gelegt.

Y venido Eliseo á la casa, he aquí el niño que estaba tendido muerto sobre su cama.

And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.

When Elisha had come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and lying on his bed.

Und er ging hinein und schloß die Tür hinter ihnen beiden zu und betete zu Jehovah.

Entrando él entonces, cerró la puerta sobre ambos, y oró á Jehová.

He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD.

Und er stieg hinauf und legte sich auf das Kind, und legte seinen Mund auf dessen Mund und seine Augen auf dessen Augen, und seine Hände auf dessen Hände und streckte sich über ihn, und des Knaben Fleisch wurde warm.

Después subió, y echóse sobre el niño, poniendo su boca sobre la boca de él, y sus ojos sobre sus ojos, y sus manos sobre las manos suyas; así se tendió sobre él, y calentóse la carne del joven.

And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

He went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. He stretched himself on him; and the child’s flesh grew warm.

Und er ging wiederum im Hause einmal hin und einmal her und ging hinauf und streckte sich über ihn; und der Junge nieste zu sieben Malen, und der Junge tat seine Augen auf.

Volviéndose luego, paseóse por la casa á una parte y á otra, y después subió, y tendióse sobre él; y el joven estornudó siete veces, y abrió sus ojos.

Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

Then he returned, and walked in the house once back and forth, then went up and stretched himself out on him. Then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

Und er rief Gechasi und sagte: Rufe diese Schunamitin. Und er rief sie, und sie kam herein zu ihm, und er sprach: Hebe deinen Sohn auf.

Entonces llamó él á Giezi, y díjole: Llama á esta Sunamita. Y él la llamó. Y entrando ella, él le dijo: Toma tu hijo.

And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

He called Gehazi, and said, “Call this Shunammite!” So he called her. When she had come in to him, he said, “Take up your son.”

Und sie kam und fiel zu seinen Füßen und beugte sich zur Erde, und sie hob ihren Sohn auf und ging hinaus.

Y así que ella entró, echóse á sus pies, é inclinóse á tierra: después tomó su hijo, y salióse.

Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.

Und Elischa kehrte nach Gilgal zurück, und Hungersnot war im Lande, und die Söhne der Propheten saßen vor ihm. Und er sprach zu seinem Jungen: Setze den großen Topf zu und koche ein Gemüse für die Söhne der Propheten.

Y Eliseo se volvió á Gilgal. Había entonces grande hambre en la tierra. Y los hijos de los profetas estaban con él, por lo que dijo á su criado: Pon una grande olla, y haz potaje para los hijos de los profetas.

And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.

Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, “Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

Und einer ging hinaus auf das Feld, Kräuter zusammenzulesen, und fand Reben des Feldes und las davon zusammen, Koloquinten des Feldes, sein Kleid voll, und kam und zerschnitt sie in den Topf des Gemüses. Denn sie kannten es nicht.

Y salió uno al campo á coger hierbas, y halló una como parra montés, y cogió de ella una faldada de calabazas silvestres: y volvió, y cortólas en la olla del potaje: porque no sabía lo que era.

And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.

Und sie gossen es aus für die Männer zum Essen. Und es geschah, als sie von dem Gemüse aßen, schrien sie und sprachen: Der Tod ist in dem Topf, Mann Gottes! Und sie vermochten es nicht zu essen.

Echóse después para que comieran los hombres; pero sucedió que comiendo ellos de aquel guisado, dieron voces, diciendo: ¡Varón de Dios, la muerte en la olla! Y no lo pudieron comer.

So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.

So they poured out for the men to eat. As they were eating some of the stew, they cried out and said, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.

Er aber sprach: Holet Mehl, und er warf es in den Topf und sprach: Gieß es aus für das Volk, daß sie essen, und es war nichts Böses im Topf.

El entonces dijo: Traed harina. Y esparcióla en la olla, y dijo: Echa de comer á la gente. Y no hubo más mal en la olla.

But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

But he said, “Then bring meal.” He threw it into the pot; and he said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.

Und es kam ein Mann von Baal-Schalischah und brachte dem Manne Gottes Brot von den Erstlingsfrüchten, zwanzig Gerstenbrote und frische Ähren in seinem Sack, und er sprach: Gib dem Volke, daß sie essen.

Vino entonces un hombre de Baal-salisa, el cual trajo al varón de Dios panes de primicias, veinte panes de cebada, y trigo nuevo en su espiga. Y él dijo: Da á la gente para que coman.

And there came a man from Baal-shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

A man from Baal Shalishah came, and brought the man of God some bread of the first fruits: twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. Elisha said, “Give to the people, that they may eat.”

Und sein Diener sprach: Wie soll ich dies vor hundert Männern hingeben? Und er sprach: Gib dem Volke, daß sie essen, denn so spricht Jehovah: Man wird essen und noch übriglassen.

Y respondió su sirviente: ¿Cómo he de poner esto delante de cien hombres? Mas él tornó á decir: Da á la gente para que coman, porque así ha dicho Jehová: Comerán, y sobrará.

And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.

His servant said, “What, should I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give it to the people, that they may eat; for the LORD says, ‘They will eat, and will have some left over.’”

Und er gab es vor sie hin, und sie aßen und ließen übrig nach Jehovahs Wort.

Entonces él lo puso delante de ellos, y comieron, y sobróles, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD.

So he set it before them and they ate and had some left over, according to the LORD’s word.
