7Cuando el rey de Israel leyó la carta, se rasgó las vestiduras presa del pánico y dijo: “¿Acaso este hombre se cree Dios, que tiene poder sobre la vida y la muerte, y me envía a curar a un leproso? Evidentemente, sólo está tratando de inventar una excusa para atacarme, como cualquiera puede ver”.

7Y luego que el rey de Israel leyó las cartas, rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¿Soy yo Dios, que mate y dé vida, para que éste envíe á mí á que sane un hombre de su lepra? Considerad ahora, y ved cómo busca ocasión contra mí.

7And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

7When the king of Israel had read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to heal a man of his leprosy? But please consider and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.”
