Und Naaman, der Heeroberste des Königs von Syrien, war ein großer Mann vor seinem Herrn und angesehen; denn durch ihn hatte der HERR den Syrern Sieg gegeben; und der Mann war ein Kriegsheld, aber aussätzig.

NAAMÁN, general del ejército del rey de Siria, era gran varón delante de su señor, y en alta estima, porque por medio de él había dado Jehová salvamento á la Siria. Era este hombre valeroso en extremo, pero leproso.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria; he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

Und die Syrer waren in Streifscharen ausgezogen und hatten aus dem Land Israel ein junges Mädchen gefangen weggeführt, und sie war vor der Frau Naamans.

Y de Siria habían salido cuadrillas, y habían llevado cautiva de la tierra de Israel una muchacha; la cual sirviendo á la mujer de Naamán,

And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.

Und sie sprach zu ihrer Herrin: Ach, wäre doch mein Herr vor dem Propheten, der in Samaria wohnt! Dann würde er ihn von seinem Aussatz heilen.

Dijo á su señora: Si rogase mi señor al profeta que está en Samaria, él lo sanaría de su lepra.

And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

She said to her mistress, “I wish that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal him of his leprosy.”

Und Naaman ging und berichtete es seinem Herrn und sprach: So und so hat das Mädchen geredet, das aus dem Land Israel ist.

Y entrando Naamán á su señor, declaróselo, diciendo: Así y así ha dicho una muchacha que es de la tierra de Israel.

And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.

Someone went in and told his lord, saying, “The girl who is from the land of Israel said this.”

Da sprach der König von Syrien: Geh, zieh hin, und ich will an den König von Israel einen Brief senden. Und er ging hin und nahm mit sich 10 Talente Silber und 6.000 Sekel Gold und 10 Wechselkleider.

Y díjole el rey de Siria: Anda, ve, y yo enviaré letras al rey de Israel. Partió pues él, llevando consigo diez talentos de plata, y seis mil piezas de oro, y diez mudas de vestidos.

And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

The king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

Und er brachte den Brief zu dem König von Israel, und er lautete so: Und nun, wenn dieser Brief zu dir kommt, siehe, ich habe meinen Knecht Naaman zu dir gesandt, dass du ihn von seinem Aussatz heilst.

Tomó también letras para el rey de Israel, que decían así: Luego en llegando á ti estas letras, sabe por ellas que yo envío á ti mi siervo Naamán, para que lo sanes de su lepra.

And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.

He brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, “Now when this letter has come to you, behold, I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy.”

Und es geschah, als der König von Israel den Brief gelesen hatte, da zerriss er seine Kleider und sprach: Bin ich Gott, um zu töten und lebendig zu machen, dass dieser zu mir sendet, einen Mann von seinem Aussatz zu heilen? Aber bestimmt, erkennt doch und seht, dass er einen Anlass an mir sucht!

Y luego que el rey de Israel leyó las cartas, rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¿Soy yo Dios, que mate y dé vida, para que éste envíe á mí á que sane un hombre de su lepra? Considerad ahora, y ved cómo busca ocasión contra mí.

And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

When the king of Israel had read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to heal a man of his leprosy? But please consider and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.”

Und es geschah, als Elisa, der Mann Gottes, hörte, dass der König von Israel seine Kleider zerrissen hatte, da sandte er zu dem König und ließ ihm sagen: Warum hast du deine Kleider zerrissen? Lass ihn doch zu mir kommen, und er soll erkennen, dass ein Prophet in Israel ist.

Y como Eliseo, varón de Dios oyó que el rey de Israel había rasgado sus vestidos, envió á decir al rey: ¿Por qué has rasgado tus vestidos? Venga ahora á mí, y sabrá que hay profeta en Israel.

And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

It was so, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”

Und Naaman kam mit seinen Pferden und mit seinen Wagen und hielt am Eingang des Hauses Elisas.

Y vino Naamán con sus caballos y con su carro, y paróse á las puertas de la casa de Eliseo.

So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

Und Elisa sandte einen Boten zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Geh hin und bade dich siebenmal im Jordan, so wird dir dein Fleisch wieder werden, und du wirst rein sein.

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

Da wurde Naaman zornig und zog weg; und er sprach: Siehe, ich hatte gedacht: Er wird gewisslich zu mir herauskommen und hintreten und den Namen des HERRN, seines Gottes, anrufen, und wird seine Hand über die Stelle schwingen und so den Aussätzigen heilen.

Y Naamán se fué enojado, diciendo: He aquí yo decía para mí: Saldrá él luego, y estando en pie invocará el nombre de Jehová su Dios, y alzará su mano, y tocará el lugar, y sanará la lepra.

But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

But Naaman was angry, and went away and said, “Behold, I thought, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leper.’

Sind nicht Abana und Parpar, die Flüsse von Damaskus, besser als alle Wasser von Israel? Kann ich mich nicht darin baden und rein werden? Und er wandte sich und zog weg im Grimm.

Abana y Pharphar, ríos de Damasco, ¿no son mejores que todas las aguas de Israel? Si me lavare en ellos, ¿no seré también limpio? Y volvióse, y fuése enojado.

Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

Da traten seine Knechte herzu und redeten zu ihm und sprachen: Mein Vater, hätte der Prophet etwas Großes zu dir geredet, würdest du es nicht tun? Wieviel mehr denn, da er zu dir gesagt hat: Bade dich, und du wirst rein sein!

Mas sus criados se llegaron á él, y habláronle, diciendo: Padre mío, si el profeta te mandara alguna gran cosa, ¿no la hicieras? ¿cuánto más, diciéndote: Lávate, y serás limpio?

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

His servants came near and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had asked you do some great thing, wouldn’t you have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?”

Da stieg er hinab und tauchte sich im Jordan siebenmal unter, nach dem Wort des Mannes Gottes. Da wurde sein Fleisch wieder wie das Fleisch eines jungen Knaben, und er war rein.

El entonces descendió, y zambullóse siete veces en el Jordán, conforme á la palabra del varón de Dios: y su carne se volvió como la carne de un niño, y fué limpio.

Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Und er kehrte zu dem Mann Gottes zurück, er und sein ganzer Zug, und er kam und trat vor ihn und sprach: Sieh doch, ich erkenne, dass es auf der ganzen Erde keinen Gott gibt, als nur in Israel! Und nun nimm doch ein Geschenk von deinem Knecht.

Y volvió al varón de Dios, él y toda su compañía, y púsose delante de él, y dijo: He aquí ahora conozco que no hay Dios en toda la tierra, sino en Israel. Ruégote que recibas algún presente de tu siervo.

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

Aber er sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt, vor dessen Angesicht ich stehe, wenn ich es nehmen werde! Und er drang in ihn, es zu nehmen; aber er weigerte sich.

Mas él dijo: Vive Jehová, delante del cual estoy, que no lo tomaré. E importunándole que tomase, él nunca quiso.

But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

Da sprach Naaman: Wenn nicht, so werde doch deinem Knecht die Last eines Maultiergespannes Erde gegeben; denn dein Knecht wird nicht mehr anderen Göttern Brandopfer und Schlachtopfer opfern, sondern nur dem HERR.

Entonces Naamán dijo: Ruégote pues, ¿no se dará á tu siervo una carga de un par de acémilas de aquesta tierra? porque de aquí adelante tu siervo no sacrificará holocausto ni sacrificio á otros dioses, sino á Jehová.

And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules’ burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

Naaman said, “If not, then, please let two mules’ load of earth be given to your servant; for your servant will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to other gods, but to the LORD.

In diesem Stück wolle der HERR deinem Knecht vergeben: Wenn mein Herr in das Haus Rimmons geht, um sich dort niederzubeugen, – denn er lehnt sich auf meine Hand, und ich beuge mich nieder im Haus Rimmons – ja, wenn ich mich niederbeuge im Haus Rimmons, so möge doch der HERR deinem Knecht in diesem Stück vergeben!

En esto perdone Jehová á tu siervo: que cuando mi señor entrare en el templo de Rimmón, y para adorar en él se apoyare sobre mi mano, si yo también me inclinare en el templo de Rimmón, si en el templo de Rimmón me inclino, Jehová perdone en esto á tu siervo.

In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

In this thing may the LORD pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon. When I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, may the LORD pardon your servant in this thing.”

Und er sprach zu ihm: Geh hin in Frieden. Und er zog von ihm weg eine Strecke Landes.

Y él le dijo: Vete en paz. Partióse pues de él, y caminó como el espacio de una milla.

And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.

Da sprach Gehasi, der Knabe Elisas, des Mannes Gottes: Siehe, mein Herr hat Naaman, diesen Syrer, verschont, dass er nicht aus seiner Hand genommen hat, was er gebracht hat; so wahr der HERR lebt, wenn ich ihm nicht nachlaufe und etwas von ihm nehme!

Entonces Giezi, criado de Eliseo el varón de Dios, dijo entre sí: He aquí mi señor estorbó á este Siro Naamán, no tomando de su mano las cosas que había traído. Vive Jehová, que correré yo tras él, y tomaré de él alguna cosa.

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought. As the LORD lives, I will run after him, and take something from him.”

Und Gehasi eilte Naaman nach. Und als Naaman sah, dass er ihm nachlief, sprang er von dem Wagen herab, ihm entgegen, und sprach: Steht es wohl?

Y siguió Giezi á Naamán: y como le vió Naamán que venía corriendo tras él, apeóse del carro para recibirle, y dijo: ¿Va bien?

So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

Und er sprach: Es steht wohl. Mein Herr sendet mich und lässt dir sagen: Siehe, eben jetzt sind vom Gebirge Ephraim zwei Knaben von den Söhnen der Propheten zu mir gekommen; gib ihnen doch 1 Talent Silber und 2 Wechselkleider.

Y él dijo: Bien. Mi señor me envía á decir: He aquí vinieron á mí en esta hora del monte de Ephraim dos mancebos de los hijos de los profetas: ruégote que les des un talento de plata, y sendas mudas de vestidos.

And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

He said, “All is well. My master has sent me, saying, ‘Behold, even now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.’”

Und Naaman sprach: Lass es dir gefallen, nimm 2 Talente. Und er drang in ihn und band 2 Talente Silber in zwei Beutel, und 2 Wechselkleider, und gab es zweien seiner Knaben; und sie trugen es vor ihm her.

Y Naamán dijo: Ruégote que tomes dos talentos. Y él le constriñó, y ató dos talentos de plata en dos sacos, y dos mudas de vestidos, y púsolo á cuestas á dos de sus criados, que lo llevasen delante de él.

And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

Naaman said, “Be pleased to take two talents.” He urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants; and they carried them before him.

Als er aber an den Hügel kam, nahm er es aus ihrer Hand und brachte es im Haus unter; dann entließ er die Männer, und sie gingen weg.

Y llegado que hubo á un lugar secreto, él lo tomó de mano de ellos, y guardólo en casa: luego mandó á los hombres que se fuesen.

And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.

When he came to the hill, he took them from their hand, and stored them in the house. Then he let the men go, and they departed.

Er aber ging hinein und trat vor seinen Herrn. Da sprach Elisa zu ihm: Woher, Gehasi? Und er sprach: Dein Knecht ist weder dahin noch dorthin gegangen.

Y él entró, y púsose delante de su señor. Y Eliseo le dijo: ¿De dónde vienes, Giezi? Y él dijo: Tu siervo no ha ido á ninguna parte.

But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

But he went in, and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you come from, Gehazi?” He said, “Your servant went nowhere.”

Und er sprach zu ihm: Ging mein Herz nicht mit, als der Mann sich von seinem Wagen herab dir entgegenwandte? Ist es Zeit, Silber zu nehmen und Kleider zu nehmen und Olivenbäume und Weinberge und Kleinvieh und Rinder und Knechte und Mägde?

El entonces le dijo: ¿No fué también mi corazón, cuando el hombre volvió de su carro á recibirte? ¿es tiempo de tomar plata, y de tomar vestidos, olivares, viñas, ovejas, bueyes, siervos y siervas?

And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

He said to him, “Didn’t my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants?

So wird der Aussatz Naamans an dir haften und an deinen Nachkommen ewiglich. Und er ging von ihm hinaus, aussätzig wie Schnee.

La lepra de Naamán se te pegará á ti, y á tu simiente para siempre. Y salió de delante de él leproso, blanco como la nieve.

The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you and to your offspring forever.” He went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.
