Venidos a la puerta de la ciudad, dieron la noticia diciendo: Hemos ido al campamento de los siros, y no hemos hallado allí a nadie, sino sólo los caballos y los asnos atados, y las tiendas que están todavía en pie.
Y vinieron, y dieron voces á los guardas de la puerta de la ciudad, y declaráronles, diciendo: Nosotros fuimos al campo de los Siros, y he aquí que no había allí hombre, ni voz de hombre, sino caballos atados, asnos también atados, y el campo como se estaba.
So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
So they came and called to the city gatekeepers; and they told them, “We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, not even a man’s voice, but the horses tied, and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.”
