El oficial que servía de ayudante al rey le dijo: ―Eso no podría ocurrir ni aunque el Señor hiciera ventanas en los cielos. Pero Eliseo le respondió: ―Tú lo verás, pero no podrás comprar nada.
Y un príncipe sobre cuya mano el rey se apoyaba, respondió al varón de Dios, y dijo: Si Jehová hiciese ahora ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería esto así? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello.
Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “Behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”
