Et Elisée dit : Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel. Ainsi a dit l'Eternel : A cette heure, demain, une mesure de fleur de farine pour un sicle, et la double mesure d'orge pour un sicle, à la porte de Samarie !

DIJO entonces Eliseo: Oid palabra de Jehová: Así dijo Jehová: Mañana á estas horas valdrá el seah de flor de harina un siclo, y dos seah de cebada un siclo, á la puerta de Samaria.

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

Elisha said, “Hear the LORD’s word. The LORD says, ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’”

Et l'officier sur la main duquel le roi s'appuyait répondit à l'homme de Dieu et dit : Voici, l'Eternel fit-il des fenêtres dans le ciel, pareille chose arriverait-elle ? Et Elisée dit : Tu vas le voir de tes yeux, mais tu n'en mangeras pas.

Y un príncipe sobre cuya mano el rey se apoyaba, respondió al varón de Dios, y dijo: Si Jehová hiciese ahora ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería esto así? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello.

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “Behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

Et quatre hommes qui étaient des lépreux, à la porte †de la ville, se dirent l'un à l'autre : Que faisons-nous de rester ici jusqu'à ce que nous mourions ?

Y había cuatro hombres leprosos á la entrada de la puerta, los cuales dijeron el uno al otro: ¿Para qué nos estamos aquí hasta que muramos?

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate. They said to one another, “Why do we sit here until we die?

Si nous disons : Nous irons dans la ville, la famine est dans la ville, et nous y mourrons ; si nous restons ici, nous mourrons aussi. Eh bien ! allons et passons au camp des Syriens ! S'ils nous laissent vivre, nous vivrons ; s'ils nous font mourir, nous mourrons.

Si tratáremos de entrar en la ciudad, por el hambre que hay en la ciudad moriremos en ella; y si nos quedamos aquí, también moriremos. Vamos pues ahora, y pasémonos al ejército de los Siros: si ellos nos dieren la vida, viviremos; y si nos dieren la muerte, moriremos.

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

If we say, ‘We will enter into the city,’ then the famine is in the city, and we will die there. If we sit still here, we also die. Now therefore come, and let’s surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they save us alive, we will live; and if they kill us, we will only die.”

Et sur le soir ils se levèrent pour aller au camp des Syriens. Et ils vinrent jusqu'à l'extrémité du camp des Syriens, et voici il n'y avait personne.

Levantáronse pues en el principio de la noche, para irse al campo de los Siros; y llegando á las primeras estancias de los Siros, no había allí hombre.

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

Car le Seigneur avait fait entendre au camp des Syriens un bruit de chars, un bruit de cavalerie, un bruit de grande troupe, et ils s'étaient dit l'un à l'autre : Voici, le roi d'Israël a pris à sa solde contre nous les rois des Héthiens et les rois d'Egypte pour nous attaquer.

Porque el Señor había hecho que en el campo de los Siros se oyese estruendo de carros, ruido de caballos, y estrépito de grande ejército; y dijéronse los unos á los otros: He aquí el rey de Israel ha pagado contra nosotros á los reyes de los Hetheos, y á los reyes de los Egipcios, para que vengan contra nosotros.

For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians to hear the sound of chariots and the sound of horses, even the noise of a great army; and they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us.”

Et ils s'étaient levés et ils s'étaient enfuis sur le soir, et ils avaient abandonné leurs tentes, leurs chevaux et leurs ânes, le camp comme il était, et s'étaient enfuis pour sauver leur vie.

Y así se habían levantado y huído al principio de la noche, dejando sus tiendas, sus caballos, sus asnos, y el campo como se estaba; y habían huído por salvar las vidas.

Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

Et ces lépreux vinrent jusqu'à l'extrémité du camp, et ils entrèrent dans une tente et mangèrent et burent et en emportèrent de l'argent et de l'or et des vêtements, et ils s'en allèrent et les cachèrent ; puis ils revinrent et entrèrent dans une autre tente et en emportèrent †du butin et s'en allèrent et le cachèrent.

Y como los leprosos llegaron á las primeras estancias, entráronse en una tienda, y comieron y bebieron, y tomaron de allí plata, y oro, y vestidos, y fueron, y escondiéronlo: y vueltos, entraron en otra tienda, y de allí también tomaron, y fueron, y escondieron.

And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

When these lepers came to the outermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and ate and drank, then carried away silver, gold, and clothing and went and hid it. Then they came back, and entered into another tent and carried things from there also, and went and hid them.

Puis ils se dirent l'un à l'autre : Nous n'agissons pas bien ! Ce jour est un jour de bonne nouvelle. Et nous, si nous nous taisons et que nous attendions jusqu'à la lumière du matin, nous serons trouvés coupables. Et maintenant, allons et nous informerons la maison du roi.

Y dijéronse el uno al otro: No hacemos bien: hoy es día de buena nueva, y nosotros callamos: y si esperamos hasta la luz de la mañana, nos alcanzará la maldad. Vamos pues ahora, entremos, y demos la nueva en casa del rey.

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

Then they said to one another, “We aren’t doing right. Today is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let’s go and tell the king’s household.”

Et ils vinrent et appelèrent les hommes de la garde, qui étaient à la porte de la ville, et les informèrent en disant : Nous sommes allés au camp des Syriens, et voici il n'y avait ni homme ni voix d'homme ; seulement les chevaux attachés et les ânes attachés, et les tentes comme elles étaient.

Y vinieron, y dieron voces á los guardas de la puerta de la ciudad, y declaráronles, diciendo: Nosotros fuimos al campo de los Siros, y he aquí que no había allí hombre, ni voz de hombre, sino caballos atados, asnos también atados, y el campo como se estaba.

So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

So they came and called to the city gatekeepers; and they told them, “We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, not even a man’s voice, but the horses tied, and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.”

Et les hommes de la garde appelèrent et firent rapport aux gens de la maison du roi, dans le palais.

Y los porteros dieron voces, y declaráronlo dentro, en el palacio del rey.

And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.

Then the gatekeepers called out and told it to the king’s household within.

Et le roi se leva de nuit et dit à ses serviteurs : Je veux vous dire ce que les Syriens font à notre égard : ils savent que nous sommes affamés, et ils sont sortis du camp pour se cacher dans la campagne, disant : S'ils sortent de la ville, nous les prendrons vivants et nous entrerons dans la ville.

Y levantóse el rey de noche, y dijo á sus siervos: Yo os declararé lo que nos han hecho los Siros. Ellos saben que tenemos hambre, y hanse salido de las tiendas y escondídose en el campo, diciendo: Cuando hubieren salido de la ciudad, los tomaremos vivos, y entraremos en la ciudad.

And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.

The king arose in the night, and said to his servants, “I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry. Therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive, and get into the city.’”

Et l'un de ses serviteurs répondit et dit : Qu'on prenne, je te prie, cinq des chevaux survivants qui restent dans la ville ; voici, ils sont comme toute la multitude d'Israël qui y reste ; voici, ils sont comme la multitude d'Israël qui est perdue ; envoyons-les et nous verrons.

Entonces respondió uno de sus siervos, y dijo: Tomen ahora cinco de los caballos que han quedado en la ciudad, (porque ellos también son como toda la multitud de Israel que ha quedado en ella; también ellos son como toda la multitud de Israel que ha perecido;) y enviemos, y veamos qué hay.

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

One of his servants answered, “Please let some people take five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are consumed. Let’s send and see.”

Et l'on prit deux chars avec leurs chevaux, et le roi les envoya à la recherche de l'armée des Syriens, disant : Allez et voyez.

Tomaron pues dos caballos de un carro, y envió el rey tras el campo de los Siros, diciendo: Id, y ved.

They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.

Therefore they took two chariots with horses; and the king sent them out to the Syrian army, saying, “Go and see.”

Et ils allèrent après eux jusqu'au Jourdain, et voici tout le chemin était couvert d'habits et d'armes que les Syriens avaient jetés dans leur précipitation ; et les envoyés revinrent et le rapportèrent au roi.

Y ellos fueron, y siguiéronlos hasta el Jordán: y he aquí, todo el camino estaba lleno de vestidos y enseres que los Siros habían arrojado con la premura. Y volvieron los mensajeros, é hiciéronlo saber al rey.

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

Et le peuple sortit, et ils pillèrent le camp des Syriens ; et la mesure de fleur de farine fut à un sicle et la double mesure d'orge à un sicle, selon la parole de l'Eternel.

Entonces el pueblo salió, y saquearon el campo de los Siros. Y fué vendido un seah de flor de harina por un siclo, y dos seah de cebada por un siclo, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.

Et le roi avait préposé à la porte l'officier sur la main duquel il s'appuyait ; et il fut écrasé sous les pieds de la foule à la porte, et il mourut selon la parole que l'homme de Dieu avait dite lorsque le roi était descendu vers lui.

Y el rey puso á la puerta á aquel príncipe sobre cuya mano él se apoyaba: y atropellóle el pueblo á la entrada, y murió, conforme á lo que había dicho el varón de Dios, lo que habló cuando el rey descendió á él.

And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

The king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to be in charge of the gate; and the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.

Quand l'homme de Dieu parla au roi, disant : Demain, à cette heure, à la porte de Samarie, la double mesure d'orge sera à un sicle et la mesure de fleur de farine à un sicle,

Aconteció pues de la manera que el varón de Dios había hablado al rey, diciendo: Dos seah de cebada por un siclo, y el seah de flor de harina será vendido por un siclo mañana á estas horas, á la puerta de Samaria.

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

It happened as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;”

l'officier répondit à l'homme de Dieu et dit : Et si l'Eternel faisait des fenêtres dans le ciel, en serait-il ainsi ? Et Elisée dit : Tu vas le voir de tes yeux, mais tu n'en mangeras pas.

A lo cual aquel príncipe había respondido al varón de Dios, diciendo: Aunque Jehová hiciese ventanas en el cielo, ¿pudiera ser eso? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello.

And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

and that captain answered the man of God, and said, “Now, behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, might such a thing be?” and he said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

Il lui arriva ainsi, et la foule l'écrasa sous ses pieds à la porte, et il mourut.

Y vínole así; porque el pueblo le atropelló á la entrada, y murió.

And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.

It happened like that to him, for the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died.
