DIJO entonces Eliseo: Oid palabra de Jehová: Así dijo Jehová: Mañana á estas horas valdrá el seah de flor de harina un siclo, y dos seah de cebada un siclo, á la puerta de Samaria.
Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
Elisha said, “Hear the LORD’s word. The LORD says, ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’”
L’officier sur la main duquel s’appuyait le roi répondit à l’homme de Dieu: Quand l’Éternel ferait des fenêtres au ciel, pareille chose arriverait-elle? Et Élisée dit: Tu le verras de tes yeux; mais tu n’en mangeras point.
Y un príncipe sobre cuya mano el rey se apoyaba, respondió al varón de Dios, y dijo: Si Jehová hiciese ahora ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería esto así? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello.
Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “Behold, if the LORD made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said, “Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”
Il y avait à l’entrée de la porte quatre lépreux, qui se dirent l’un à l’autre: Quoi! Resterons-nous ici jusqu’à ce que nous mourions?
Y había cuatro hombres leprosos á la entrada de la puerta, los cuales dijeron el uno al otro: ¿Para qué nos estamos aquí hasta que muramos?
And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

Ils partirent donc au crépuscule, pour se rendre au camp des Syriens; et lorsqu’ils furent arrivés à l’entrée du camp des Syriens, voici, il n’y avait personne.
Levantáronse pues en el principio de la noche, para irse al campo de los Siros; y llegando á las primeras estancias de los Siros, no había allí hombre.

Le Seigneur avait fait entendre dans le camp des Syriens un bruit de chars et un bruit de chevaux, le bruit d’une grande armée, et ils s’étaient dit l’un à l’autre: Voici, le roi d’Israël a pris à sa solde contre nous les rois des Héthiens et les rois des Égyptiens pour venir nous attaquer.

Puis ils se dirent l’un à l’autre: Nous n’agissons pas bien! Cette journée est une journée de bonne nouvelle; si nous gardons le silence et si nous attendons jusqu’à la lumière du matin, le châtiment nous atteindra. Venez maintenant, et allons informer la maison du roi.
Y dijéronse el uno al otro: No hacemos bien: hoy es día de buena nueva, y nosotros callamos: y si esperamos hasta la luz de la mañana, nos alcanzará la maldad. Vamos pues ahora, entremos, y demos la nueva en casa del rey.
Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
Then they said to one another, “We aren’t doing right. Today is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let’s go and tell the king’s household.”
Ils partirent, et ils appelèrent les gardes de la porte de la ville, auxquels ils firent ce rapport: Nous sommes entrés dans le camp des Syriens, et voici, il n’y a personne, on n’y entend aucune voix d’homme; il n’y a que des chevaux attachés et des ânes attachés, et les tentes comme elles étaient.
Y vinieron, y dieron voces á los guardas de la puerta de la ciudad, y declaráronles, diciendo: Nosotros fuimos al campo de los Siros, y he aquí que no había allí hombre, ni voz de hombre, sino caballos atados, asnos también atados, y el campo como se estaba.

L’un des serviteurs du roi répondit: Que l’on prenne cinq des chevaux qui restent encore dans la ville, ils sont comme toute la multitude d’Israël qui y est restée, ils sont comme toute la multitude d’Israël qui dépérit, et envoyons voir ce qui se passe.
Entonces respondió uno de sus siervos, y dijo: Tomen ahora cinco de los caballos que han quedado en la ciudad, (porque ellos también son como toda la multitud de Israel que ha quedado en ella; también ellos son como toda la multitud de Israel que ha perecido;) y enviemos, y veamos qué hay.
And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

Le roi avait remis la garde de la porte à l’officier sur la main duquel il s’appuyait; mais cet officier fut écrasé à la porte par le peuple et il mourut, selon la parole qu’avait prononcée l’homme de Dieu quand le roi était descendu vers lui.
Y el rey puso á la puerta á aquel príncipe sobre cuya mano él se apoyaba: y atropellóle el pueblo á la entrada, y murió, conforme á lo que había dicho el varón de Dios, lo que habló cuando el rey descendió á él.
And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.
The king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to be in charge of the gate; and the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.
L’homme de Dieu avait dit alors au roi: On aura deux mesures d’orge pour un sicle et une mesure de fleur de farine pour un sicle, demain, à cette heure, à la porte de Samarie.
Aconteció pues de la manera que el varón de Dios había hablado al rey, diciendo: Dos seah de cebada por un siclo, y el seah de flor de harina será vendido por un siclo mañana á estas horas, á la puerta de Samaria.
And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
