“Como o seu servo, que não passa de um cão, poderia agir assim?” perguntou-lhe Hazael. “Eu nunca praticaria essas barbaridades”. Eliseu, porém, respondeu: “O Senhor me mostrou que você se tornará o rei da Síria”.

Y Hazael dijo: ¿Por qué? ¿es tu siervo perro, que hará esta gran cosa? Y respondió Eliseo: Jehová me ha mostrado que tú has de ser rey de Siria.

And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he could do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”
