Elisée avait dit à la femme dont il avait fait revivre le fils : Lève-toi et pars, toi et ta maison, et va séjourner à l'étranger quelque part, car l'Eternel a appelé la famine, et même elle vient sur ce pays pour sept ans.

Y HABLÓ Eliseo á aquella mujer á cuyo hijo había hecho vivir, diciendo: Levántate, vete tú y toda tu casa á vivir donde pudieres; porque Jehová ha llamado el hambre, la cual vendrá también sobre la tierra siete años.

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Now Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise, and go, you and your household, and stay for a while wherever you can; for the LORD has called for a famine. It will also come on the land for seven years.”

Et cette femme se leva et fit ce qu'avait dit l'homme de Dieu ; elle partit, elle et sa maison, et elle séjourna dans le pays des Philistins sept ans.

Entonces la mujer se levantó, é hizo como el varón de Dios le dijo: y partióse ella con su familia, y vivió en tierra de los Filisteos siete años.

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

Et au bout de sept ans cette femme revint du pays des Philistins et elle alla implorer le roi au sujet de sa maison et de ses terres.

Y como fueron pasados los siete años, la mujer volvió de la tierra de los Filisteos: después salió para clamar al rey por su casa, y por sus tierras.

And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

Et le roi parlait à Guéhazi, serviteur de l'homme de Dieu, et disait : Raconte-moi, je te prie, toutes les grandes choses qu'a faites Elisée.

Y había el rey hablado con Giezi, criado del varón de Dios, diciéndole: Ruégote que me cuentes todas las maravillas que ha hecho Eliseo.

And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

Et il arriva qu'au moment où Guéhazi racontait au roi comment Elisée avait fait revivre le mort, voici la femme au fils de laquelle Elisée avait rendu la vie vint implorer le roi au sujet de sa maison et de ses terres, et Guéhazi dit : Roi, mon seigneur, c'est là cette femme ! c'est là son fils à qui Elisée a rendu la vie !

Y contando él al rey cómo había hecho vivir á un muerto, he aquí la mujer, á cuyo hijo había hecho vivir, que clamaba al rey por su casa y por sus tierras. Entonces dijo Giezi: Rey señor mío, esta es la mujer, y este es su hijo, al cual Eliseo hizo vivir.

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

As he was telling the king how he had restored to life him who was dead, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life begged the king for her house and for her land. Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”

Et le roi interrogea la femme et elle lui raconta son histoire, et le roi lui donna un eunuque, disant : Fais-lui recouvrer tout ce qui est à elle et tous les revenus de ses terres depuis le jour où elle a quitté le pays jusqu'à maintenant.

Y preguntando el rey á la mujer, ella se lo contó. Entonces el rey le dió un eunuco, diciéndole: Hazle volver todas las cosas que eran suyas, y todos los frutos de las tierras desde el día que dejó el país hasta ahora.

And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

Et Elisée vint à Damas ; et Ben-Hadad, roi de Syrie, était malade ; et on l'avertit, disant : L'homme de Dieu est venu jusqu'ici.

Eliseo se fué luego á Damasco, y Ben-adad rey de Siria estaba enfermo, al cual dieron aviso, diciendo: El varón de Dios ha venido aquí.

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Ben-hadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

Et le roi dit à Hazaël : Prends avec toi un présent et va à la rencontre de l'homme de Dieu, et tu consulteras par lui l'Eternel en disant : Est-ce que je relèverai de cette maladie ?

Y el rey dijo á Hazael: Toma en tu mano un presente, y ve á recibir al varón de Dios, y consulta por él á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Tengo de sanar de esta enfermedad?

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

The king said to Hazael, “Take a present in your hand, and go meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD by him, saying, ‘Will I recover from this sickness?’”

Et Hazaël alla à sa rencontre et prit avec lui un présent, tout ce qu'il y avait de mieux à Damas, une charge de quarante chameaux, et il vint et se tint devant lui et dit : Ton fils Ben-Hadad, roi de Syrie, m'a envoyé vers toi pour te dire : Relèverai-je de cette maladie ?

Tomó pues Hazael en su mano un presente de todos los bienes de Damasco, cuarenta camellos cargados, y saliólo á recibir: y llegó, y púsose delante de él, y dijo: Tu hijo Ben-adad, rey de Siria, me ha enviado á ti, diciendo: ¿Tengo de sanar de esta enfermedad?

So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Ben-hadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

Et Elisée lui dit : Va et dis : Tu ne vivras certainement pas. Et l'Eternel m'a fait voir qu'il mourra certainement.

Y Eliseo le dijo: Ve, dile: Seguramente vivirás. Empero Jehová me ha mostrado que él ha de morir ciertamente.

And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

Elisha said to him, “Go, tell him, ‘You will surely recover;’ however the LORD has shown me that he will surely die.”

Puis il arrêta son regard et le tint fixé sur lui, au point qu'il en fut troublé, et l'homme de Dieu pleura.

And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.

Et Hazaël dit : Pourquoi mon seigneur pleure-t-il ? Et il dit : Parce que je sais le mal que tu feras aux fils d'Israël ; tu mettras le feu à leurs villes fortes, tu tueras leurs jeunes gens avec l'épée, tu écraseras leurs petits enfants, tu éventreras leurs femmes enceintes.

Entonces díjole Hazael: ¿Por qué llora mi señor? Y él respondió: Porque sé el mal que has de hacer á los hijos de Israel: á sus fortalezas pegarás fuego, y á sus mancebos matarás á cuchillo, y estrellarás á sus niños, y abrirás á sus preñadas.

And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

Hazael said, “Why do you weep, my lord?” He answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel. You will set their strongholds on fire, and you will kill their young men with the sword, and will dash their little ones in pieces, and rip up their pregnant women.”

Et Hazaël dit : Qu'est ton serviteur, ce chien, pour faire ces grandes choses ? Et Elisée dit : L'Eternel t'a fait voir à moi comme roi de Syrie.

Y Hazael dijo: ¿Por qué? ¿es tu siervo perro, que hará esta gran cosa? Y respondió Eliseo: Jehová me ha mostrado que tú has de ser rey de Siria.

And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he could do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”

Et il partit d'auprès d'Elisée et vint vers son maître qui lui dit : Que t'a dit Elisée ? Il répondit : Il m'a dit que tu en relèveras certainement.

Y él se partió de Eliseo, y vino á su señor, el cual le dijo: ¿Qué te ha dicho Eliseo? Y él respondió: Díjome que seguramente vivirás.

So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

Then he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him, “What did Elisha say to you?” He answered, “He told me that you would surely recover.”

Et il arriva le lendemain qu'Hazaël prit la couverture, la plongea dans l'eau, et l'étendit sur le visage de Ben-Hadad ; et il mourut. Et Hazaël régna à sa place.

El día siguiente tomó un paño basto, y metiólo en agua, y tendiólo sobre el rostro de Ben-adad, y murió: y reinó Hazael en su lugar.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

On the next day, he took a thick cloth, dipped it in water, and spread it on the king’s face, so that he died. Then Hazael reigned in his place.

Et la cinquième année de Joram, fils d'Achab, roi d'Israël, Josaphat étant roi de Juda, Joram, fils de Josaphat, roi de Juda, commença à régner.

And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.

Il était âgé de trente-deux ans lorsqu'il commença à régner, et il régna huit ans à Jérusalem.

Et il marcha dans la voie des rois d'Israël, comme avait fait la maison d'Achab, car il avait pour femme une fille d'Achab ; et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Eternel.

Y anduvo en el camino de los reyes de Israel, como hizo la casa de Achâb, porque una hija de Achâb fué su mujer; é hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.

Mais l'Eternel ne voulut pas détruire Juda, à cause de David son serviteur, selon ce qu'il lui avait dit qu'il lui donnerait toujours une lampe parmi ses fils.

Con todo eso, Jehová no quiso cortar á Judá, por amor de David su siervo, como le había prometido darle lámpara de sus hijos perpetuamente.

Yet the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.

And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
