Und Elisa redete mit dem Weibe, deren Sohn er lebendig gemacht hatte, und sprach: Mache dich auf und gehe hin mit deinem Haushalt und halte dich in der Fremde auf, wo du kannst! Denn der HERR hat eine Hungersnot herbeigerufen. Und sie kommt auch in das Land, sieben Jahre lang.

Y HABLÓ Eliseo á aquella mujer á cuyo hijo había hecho vivir, diciendo: Levántate, vete tú y toda tu casa á vivir donde pudieres; porque Jehová ha llamado el hambre, la cual vendrá también sobre la tierra siete años.

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Now Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise, and go, you and your household, and stay for a while wherever you can; for the LORD has called for a famine. It will also come on the land for seven years.”

Das Weib machte sich auf und tat, wie der Mann Gottes sagte, und zog hin mit ihren Hausgenossen und hielt sich im Lande der Philister auf, sieben Jahre lang.

Entonces la mujer se levantó, é hizo como el varón de Dios le dijo: y partióse ella con su familia, y vivió en tierra de los Filisteos siete años.

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.

Als aber die sieben Jahre vorbei waren, kam das Weib wieder aus dem Lande der Philister, und sie ging hin, um den König wegen ihres Hauses und wegen ihres Ackers anzurufen.

Y como fueron pasados los siete años, la mujer volvió de la tierra de los Filisteos: después salió para clamar al rey por su casa, y por sus tierras.

And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.

Der König aber redete eben mit Gehasi, dem Knechte des Mannes Gottes, und sprach: Erzähle mir doch alle die großen Taten, welche Elisa getan hat!

Y había el rey hablado con Giezi, criado del varón de Dios, diciéndole: Ruégote que me cuentes todas las maravillas que ha hecho Eliseo.

And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.

Während er aber dem Könige erzählte, wie jener einen Toten lebendig gemacht hatte, siehe, da kam eben das Weib, deren Sohn er lebendig gemacht hatte, dazu und rief den König an wegen ihres Hauses und wegen ihres Ackers. Da sprach Gehasi: Mein Herr und König, hier ist das Weib, und dies ist ihr Sohn, den Elisa lebendig gemacht hat!

Y contando él al rey cómo había hecho vivir á un muerto, he aquí la mujer, á cuyo hijo había hecho vivir, que clamaba al rey por su casa y por sus tierras. Entonces dijo Giezi: Rey señor mío, esta es la mujer, y este es su hijo, al cual Eliseo hizo vivir.

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

As he was telling the king how he had restored to life him who was dead, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life begged the king for her house and for her land. Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”

Da fragte der König das Weib, und sie erzählte es ihm. Da gab ihr der König einen Kämmerer und sprach: Verschaffe ihr alles wieder, was ihr gehört; dazu allen Ertrag des Ackers seit der Zeit, da sie das Land verlassen hat, bis jetzt.

Y preguntando el rey á la mujer, ella se lo contó. Entonces el rey le dió un eunuco, diciéndole: Hazle volver todas las cosas que eran suyas, y todos los frutos de las tierras desde el día que dejó el país hasta ahora.

And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.

Und Elisa kam nach Damaskus. Da lag Benhadad, der König von Syrien, krank. Und man sagte es ihm und sprach: Der Mann Gottes ist hierher gekommen!

Eliseo se fué luego á Damasco, y Ben-adad rey de Siria estaba enfermo, al cual dieron aviso, diciendo: El varón de Dios ha venido aquí.

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Ben-hadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

Da sprach der König zu Hasael: Nimm Geschenke mit dir und gehe dem Manne Gottes entgegen und befrage den HERRN durch ihn und sprich: Werde ich von dieser Krankheit genesen können?

Y el rey dijo á Hazael: Toma en tu mano un presente, y ve á recibir al varón de Dios, y consulta por él á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Tengo de sanar de esta enfermedad?

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

The king said to Hazael, “Take a present in your hand, and go meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD by him, saying, ‘Will I recover from this sickness?’”

Hasael ging ihm entgegen und nahm Geschenke mit sich und allerlei Güter von Damaskus, eine Last für vierzig Kamele. Und als er kam, trat er vor ihn hin und sprach: Dein Sohn Benhadad, der König von Syrien, hat mich zu dir gesandt und läßt dir sagen: Kann ich auch von dieser Krankheit genesen?

Tomó pues Hazael en su mano un presente de todos los bienes de Damasco, cuarenta camellos cargados, y saliólo á recibir: y llegó, y púsose delante de él, y dijo: Tu hijo Ben-adad, rey de Siria, me ha enviado á ti, diciendo: ¿Tengo de sanar de esta enfermedad?

So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Ben-hadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

Elisa sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin und sage ihm: Du wirst genesen! Aber der HERR hat mir gezeigt, daß er gewiß sterben wird.

Y Eliseo le dijo: Ve, dile: Seguramente vivirás. Empero Jehová me ha mostrado que él ha de morir ciertamente.

And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

Elisha said to him, “Go, tell him, ‘You will surely recover;’ however the LORD has shown me that he will surely die.”

Und der Mann Gottes richtete sein Angesicht auf ihn und starrte ihn unverwandt an, bis er sich schämte; dann weinte er.

And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.

Da sprach Hasael: Warum weint mein Herr? Er sprach: Weil ich weiß, was für Unheil du den Kindern Israel antun wirst! Du wirst ihre festen Städte mit Feuer verbrennen und ihre junge Mannschaft mit dem Schwert töten und ihre Kindlein zerschmettern und die Frauen aufschlitzen, die guter Hoffnung sind.

Entonces díjole Hazael: ¿Por qué llora mi señor? Y él respondió: Porque sé el mal que has de hacer á los hijos de Israel: á sus fortalezas pegarás fuego, y á sus mancebos matarás á cuchillo, y estrellarás á sus niños, y abrirás á sus preñadas.

And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

Hazael said, “Why do you weep, my lord?” He answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel. You will set their strongholds on fire, and you will kill their young men with the sword, and will dash their little ones in pieces, and rip up their pregnant women.”

Hasael sprach: Was ist dein Knecht, der Hund, daß er solch große Dinge tun sollte? Elisa sprach: Der HERR hat mir gezeigt, daß du König über Syrien wirst!

Y Hazael dijo: ¿Por qué? ¿es tu siervo perro, que hará esta gran cosa? Y respondió Eliseo: Jehová me ha mostrado que tú has de ser rey de Siria.

And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

Hazael said, “But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he could do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”

Und er ging von Elisa weg und kam zu seinem Herrn; der sprach zu ihm: Was sagte dir Elisa? Er sprach: Er sagte mir, du werdest gewiß genesen!

Y él se partió de Eliseo, y vino á su señor, el cual le dijo: ¿Qué te ha dicho Eliseo? Y él respondió: Díjome que seguramente vivirás.

So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.

Then he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him, “What did Elisha say to you?” He answered, “He told me that you would surely recover.”

Am folgenden Tage aber nahm er die Decke und tauchte sie ins Wasser und breitete sie über sein Angesicht, so daß er starb. Und Hasael ward König an seiner Statt.

El día siguiente tomó un paño basto, y metiólo en agua, y tendiólo sobre el rostro de Ben-adad, y murió: y reinó Hazael en su lugar.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

On the next day, he took a thick cloth, dipped it in water, and spread it on the king’s face, so that he died. Then Hazael reigned in his place.

Im fünften Jahre Jorams, des Sohnes Ahabs, des Königs von Israel, ward Jehoram, der Sohn Josaphats, König in Juda.

And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.

Zweiunddreißig Jahre alt war er, als er König ward, und regierte acht Jahre lang zu Jerusalem.

Und er wandelte auf dem Wege der Könige von Israel, wie das Haus Ahabs tat; denn die Tochter Ahabs war sein Weib, und er tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel.

Y anduvo en el camino de los reyes de Israel, como hizo la casa de Achâb, porque una hija de Achâb fué su mujer; é hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.

Aber der HERR wollte Juda nicht verderben, um seines Knechtes David willen, wie er ihm verheißen hatte, ihm unter seinen Söhnen eine Leuchte zu geben immerdar.

Con todo eso, Jehová no quiso cortar á Judá, por amor de David su siervo, como le había prometido darle lámpara de sus hijos perpetuamente.

Yet the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.

Zu seiner Zeit fielen die Edomiter von Juda ab und machten einen König über sich.

Dennoch fielen die Edomiter von Juda ab bis auf diesen Tag. Auch Libna fiel zu jener Zeit ab.

Da kehrte der König Joram zurück, um sich zu Jesreel heilen zu lassen von den Wunden, welche ihm die Syrer in Ramot geschlagen hatten, als er mit Hasael, dem König von Syrien, stritt. Und Ahasia, der Sohn Jehorams, der König in Juda, kam hinab, um Joram, den Sohn Ahabs, in Jesreel zu besuchen; denn er lag krank.

And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
