18Foi pois o cavaleiro a reconhecê-los, e disse: O rei diz assim: Há paz? E Jeú lhe disse: Que tens tu que ver com a paz? Sai da minha frente. O atalaia deu logo aviso, dizendo: O mensageiro chegou até eles, e não volta.

18Fué pues el de á caballo á reconocerlos, y dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú le dijo: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí. El atalaya dió luego aviso, diciendo: El mensajero llegó hasta ellos, y no vuelve.

18So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
World English Bible
18So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”
