Und Elisa, der Prophet, rief einen von den Söhnen der Propheten und sprach zu ihm: Gürte deine Lenden und nimm diese Ölflasche in deine Hand und gehe nach Ramoth-Gilead.

ENTONCES el profeta Eliseo llamó á uno de los hijos de los profetas, y díjole: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma esta alcuza de aceite en tu mano, y ve á Ramoth de Galaad.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead:

Und wenn du dahin gekommen bist, so sieh dich daselbst nach Jehu um, dem Sohne Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis; und gehe hinein, und laß ihn aufstehen aus der Mitte seiner Brüder und führe ihn in ein inneres Gemach;

Y cuando llegares allá, verás allí á Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi; y entrando, haz que se levante de entre sus hermanos, y mételo en la recámara.

And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.

und nimm die Ölflasche und gieße sie über sein Haupt aus und sprich: So spricht Jehova: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt! und öffne die Tür und fliehe, und harre nicht.

Toma luego la alcuza de aceite, y derrámala sobre su cabeza, y di: Así dijo Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel. Y abriendo la puerta, echa á huir, y no esperes.

Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘The LORD says, “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door, flee, and don’t wait.”

Und der Jüngling, der Knabe des Propheten, ging nach Ramoth-Gilead.

And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, “I have a message for you, captain.” Jehu said, “To which one of us?” He said, “To you, O captain.”

Da stand Jehu auf und ging ins Haus hinein; und er goß das Öl auf sein Haupt und sprach zu ihm: So spricht Jehova, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum König gesalbt über das Volk Jehovas, über Israel.

Y él se levantó, y entróse en casa; y el otro derramó el aceite sobre su cabeza, y díjole: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel.

And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

Und du sollst das Haus Ahabs, deines Herrn, erschlagen; und ich werde das Blut meiner Knechte, der Propheten, und das Blut aller Knechte Jehovas rächen von der Hand Isebels.

Y herirás la casa de Achâb tu señor, para que yo vengue la sangre de mis siervos los profetas, y la sangre de todos los siervos de Jehová, de la mano de Jezabel.

And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

You must strike your master Ahab’s house, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

Ja, das ganze Haus Ahabs soll umkommen; und ich werde von Ahab ausrotten, was männlich ist, sowohl den Gebundenen als auch den Freien in Israel.

Y perecerá toda la casa de Achâb, y talaré de Achâb todo meante á la pared, así al guardado como al desamparado en Israel.

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

For the whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

Und ich werde das Haus Ahabs machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und wie das Haus Baesas, des Sohnes Achijas.

Y yo pondré la casa de Achâb como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y como la casa de Baasa hijo de Ahía.

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

I will make Ahab’s house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

Isebel aber sollen die Hunde fressen auf dem Ackerstück zu Jisreel, und niemand wird sie begraben. Und er öffnete die Tür und entfloh.

Y á Jezabel comerán perros en el campo de Jezreel, y no habrá quien la sepulte. En seguida abrió la puerta, y echó á huir.

And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.

The dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground of Jezreel, and there shall be no one to bury her.’” Then he opened the door and fled.

Und Jehu kam heraus zu den Knechten seines Herrn. Und man sprach zu ihm: Steht es wohl? Warum ist dieser Rasende zu dir gekommen? Und er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr kennet ja den Mann und seine Rede.

Después salió Jehú á los siervos de su señor, y dijéronle: ¿Hay paz? ¿para qué entró á ti aquel loco? Y él les dijo: Vosotros conocéis al hombre y sus palabras.

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

When Jehu came out to the servants of his lord and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” He said to them, “You know the man and how he talks.”

Und sie sprachen: Lüge! Tue es uns doch kund! Da sprach er: So und so hat er zu mir geredet und gesagt: So spricht Jehova: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt!

Y ellos dijeron: Mentira; decláranoslo ahora. Y él dijo: Así y así me habló, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel.

And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

They said, “That is a lie. Tell us now.” He said, “He said to me, ‘The LORD says, I have anointed you king over Israel.’”

Da eilten sie und nahmen ein jeder sein Kleid und legten es unter ihn, auf die Stufen selbst; und sie stießen in die Posaune und sprachen: Jehu ist König!

Entonces tomaron prestamente su ropa, y púsola cada uno debajo de él en un trono alto, y tocaron corneta, y dijeron: Jehú es rey.

Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

Then they hurried, and each man took his cloak, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, “Jehu is king.”

Und so machte Jehu, der Sohn Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis, eine Verschwörung gegen Joram. (Joram aber, er und ganz Israel, hatte Ramoth-Gilead gegen Hasael, den König von Syrien, verteidigt;

Así conjuró Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi, contra Joram. (Estaba Joram guardando á Ramoth de Galaad con todo Israel, por causa de Hazael rey de Siria.

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

und der König Joram war zurückgekehrt, um sich in Jisreel von den Wunden heilen zu lassen, welche ihm die Syrer geschlagen hatten, als er wider Hasael, den König von Syrien, stritt.) Und Jehu sprach: Wenn es euer Wille ist, so soll niemand aus der Stadt entrinnen, um hinzugehen, es in Jisreel zu berichten.

Und der Wächter stand auf dem Turme zu Jisreel und sah den Haufen Jehus, wie er herankam, und sprach: Ich sehe einen Haufen. Und Joram sprach: Nimm einen Reiter und sende ihn ihnen entgegen, daß er spreche:

Y el atalaya que estaba en la torre de Jezreel, vió la cuadrilla de Jehú, que venía, y dijo: Yo veo una cuadrilla. Y Joram dijo: Toma uno de á caballo, y envía á reconocerlos, y que les diga: ¿Hay paz?

And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, “I see a company.” Joram said, “Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, ‘Is it peace?’”

Ist es Friede? Da ritt der Berittene ihm entgegen und sprach: So spricht der König: Ist es Friede? Und Jehu sprach: Was hast du mit dem Frieden zu schaffen? Wende dich hinter mich! Und der Wächter berichtete und sprach: Der Bote ist bis zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück.

Fué pues el de á caballo á reconocerlos, y dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú le dijo: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí. El atalaya dió luego aviso, diciendo: El mensajero llegó hasta ellos, y no vuelve.

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”

Da sandte er einen zweiten Berittenen; und er kam zu ihnen und sprach: So spricht der König: Ist es Friede? Und Jehu sprach: Was hast du mit dem Frieden zu schaffen? Wende dich hinter mich!

Entonces envió otro de á caballo, el cual llegando á ellos, dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú respondió: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

Und der Wächter berichtete und sprach: Er ist bis zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück. Und das Treiben ist wie das Treiben Jehus, des Sohnes Nimsis; denn er treibt unsinnig.

El atalaya volvió á decir: También éste llegó á ellos y no vuelve: mas el marchar del que viene es como el marchar de Jehú hijo de Nimsi, porque viene impetuosamente.

And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

The watchman said, “He came to them, and isn’t coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

Da sprach Joram: Spannet an! Und man spannte seinen Wagen an; und Joram, der König von Israel, und Ahasja, der König von Juda, zogen aus, ein jeder auf seinem Wagen: sie zogen aus, Jehu entgegen, und sie trafen ihn auf dem Grundstück Naboths, des Jisreeliters.

Entonces Joram dijo: Unce. Y uncido que fué su carro, salió Joram rey de Israel, y Ochôzías rey de Judá, cada uno en su carro, y salieron á encontrar á Jehú, al cual hallaron en la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel.

And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Joram said, “Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

Und es geschah, als Joram den Jehu sah, da sprach er: Ist es Friede, Jehu? Aber er sprach: Was, Friede, während der vielen Hurereien Isebels, deiner Mutter, und ihrer vielen Zaubereien!

Y en viendo Joram á Jehú, dijo: ¿Hay paz, Jehú? Y él respondió: ¿Qué paz, con las fornicaciones de Jezabel tu madre, y sus muchas hechicerías?

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

When Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered, “What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

Da wandte Joram um und floh, und sprach zu Ahasja: Verrat, Ahasja!

Entonces Joram volviendo la mano huyó, y dijo á Ochôzías: ¡Traición, Ochôzías!

And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.

Jehu aber nahm seinen Bogen zur Hand und traf Joram zwischen seine Arme, so daß der Pfeil ihm durch das Herz fuhr; und er sank nieder in seinem Wagen.

And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

Und er sprach zu Bidkar, seinem Anführer: Nimm ihn und wirf ihn auf das Grundstück Naboths, des Jisreeliters. Denn gedenke, wie wir, ich und du, neben einander hinter seinem Vater Ahab herritten, und Jehova diesen Ausspruch über ihn tat:

Dijo luego Jehú á Bidkar su capitán: Tómalo y échalo á un cabo de la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel. Acuérdate que cuando tú y yo íbamos juntos con la gente de Achâb su padre, Jehová pronunció esta sentencia sobre él, diciendo:

Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;

Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how, when you and I rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden on him:

Wenn ich nicht das Blut Naboths und das Blut seiner Söhne gestern gesehen habe! spricht Jehova; und ich werde es dir vergelten auf diesem Grundstück, spricht Jehova. Und nun nimm ihn auf, wirf ihn auf das Grundstück, nach dem Worte Jehovas.

Que yo he visto ayer las sangres de Naboth, y las sangres de sus hijos, dijo Jehová; y tengo de darte la paga en esta heredad, dijo Jehová. Tómalo pues ahora, y échalo en la heredad, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.

‘Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will repay you in this plot of ground,’ says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the LORD’s word.”

Als Ahasja, der König von Juda, das sah, floh er des Weges zum Gartenhause. Und Jehu jagte ihm nach und sprach: Auch ihn erschlaget auf dem Wagen! Und sie verwundeten ihn auf der Anhöhe Gur, die bei Jibleam ist. Und er floh nach Megiddo und starb daselbst.

Y viendo esto Ochôzías rey de Judá, huyó por el camino de la casa del huerto. Y siguiólo Jehú, diciendo: Herid también á éste en el carro. Y le hirieron á la subida de Gur, junto á Ibleam. Y él huyó á Megiddo, y murió allí.

But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

Und seine Knechte führten ihn zu Wagen nach Jerusalem, und sie begruben ihn in seinem Begräbnis, bei seinen Vätern, in der Stadt Davids. -

Und Jehu kam nach Jisreel. Und als Isebel es hörte, da tat sie Schminke an ihre Augen und schmückte ihr Haupt und schaute zum Fenster hinaus.

And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Und als Jehu in das Tor kam, da sprach sie: Erging es Simri wohl, dem Mörder seines Herrn?

And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?

As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, “Do you come in peace, Zimri, you murderer of your master?”

Und er erhob sein Angesicht zum Fenster und sprach: Wer ist mit mir, wer? Da blickten zwei, drei Kämmerer zu ihm hinab.

And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.

Und er sprach: Stürzet sie herab! Und sie stürzten sie hinab; und es spritzte von ihrem Blute an die Wand und an die Rosse, und er zertrat sie.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

Und er ging hinein und aß und trank; und er sprach: Sehet doch nach dieser Verfluchten und begrabet sie, denn sie ist eine Königstochter.

And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king’s daughter.

When he had come in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king’s daughter.”

Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, “This is the LORD’s word, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,

und der Leichnam Isebels soll auf dem Grundstück zu Jisreel dem Miste auf dem Felde gleichen, daß man nicht wird sagen können: Das ist Isebel.

Y el cuerpo de Jezabel fué cual estiércol sobre la faz de la tierra en la heredad de Jezreel; de manera que nadie pueda decir: Esta es Jezabel.

And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
