Elisa aber, der Prophet, rief einen der Prophetensöhne und sprach zu ihm: Gürte deine Lenden und nimm diese Ölflasche mit dir und gehe hin nach Ramot in Gilead.

ENTONCES el profeta Eliseo llamó á uno de los hijos de los profetas, y díjole: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma esta alcuza de aceite en tu mano, y ve á Ramoth de Galaad.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead:

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Und wenn du dahin kommst, so schau, wo Jehu, der Sohn Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis, ist, und gehe hinein und heiße ihn aufstehen aus der Mitte seiner Brüder und führe ihn in die innerste Kammer;

Y cuando llegares allá, verás allí á Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi; y entrando, haz que se levante de entre sus hermanos, y mételo en la recámara.

And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

When you come there, find Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and take him to an inner room.

und nimm die Ölflasche und gieße sie auf sein Haupt aus und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt! Und du sollst die Tür öffnen und fliehen und nicht verweilen!

Toma luego la alcuza de aceite, y derrámala sobre su cabeza, y di: Así dijo Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel. Y abriendo la puerta, echa á huir, y no esperes.

Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘The LORD says, “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door, flee, and don’t wait.”

Also ging der Jüngling, der Diener des Propheten, hin gen Ramot in Gilead.

Fué pues el mozo, el mozo del profeta, á Ramoth de Galaad.

So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth-gilead.

Und als er hineinkam, siehe, da saßen die Hauptleute des Heeres beisammen, und er sprach: Ein Wort habe ich an dich, o Hauptmann! Jehu sprach: An welchen von uns allen? Er sprach: An dich, o Hauptmann!

And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, “I have a message for you, captain.” Jehu said, “To which one of us?” He said, “To you, O captain.”

Da stand er auf und ging in das Haus hinein. Er aber goß das Öl auf sein Haupt und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum König gesalbt über das Volk des HERRN, über Israel!

Y él se levantó, y entróse en casa; y el otro derramó el aceite sobre su cabeza, y díjole: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel.

And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

Und du sollst das Haus Ahabs, deines Herrn, erschlagen; so will ich das Blut der Propheten, meiner Knechte, und das Blut aller Knechte des HERRN an Isebel rächen.

Y herirás la casa de Achâb tu señor, para que yo vengue la sangre de mis siervos los profetas, y la sangre de todos los siervos de Jehová, de la mano de Jezabel.

And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

You must strike your master Ahab’s house, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

Ja, das ganze Haus Ahabs soll umkommen; und ich will von Ahab alles ausrotten, was männlich ist, Mündige und Unmündige in Israel.

Y perecerá toda la casa de Achâb, y talaré de Achâb todo meante á la pared, así al guardado como al desamparado en Israel.

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

For the whole house of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, both him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

Und ich will das Haus Ahabs machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und wie das Haus Baesas, des Sohnes Achijas.

Y yo pondré la casa de Achâb como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y como la casa de Baasa hijo de Ahía.

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:

I will make Ahab’s house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

Und die Hunde sollen Isebel fressen auf dem Acker zu Jesreel, und niemand soll sie begraben! Und er öffnete die Tür und floh.

Y á Jezabel comerán perros en el campo de Jezreel, y no habrá quien la sepulte. En seguida abrió la puerta, y echó á huir.

And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.

The dogs will eat Jezebel on the plot of ground of Jezreel, and there shall be no one to bury her.’” Then he opened the door and fled.

Als nun Jehu zu den Knechten seines Herrn herausging, sprach man zu ihm: Bedeutet es Friede? Warum ist dieser Unsinnige zu dir gekommen? Er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr kennt doch den Mann und seine Rede?

Después salió Jehú á los siervos de su señor, y dijéronle: ¿Hay paz? ¿para qué entró á ti aquel loco? Y él les dijo: Vosotros conocéis al hombre y sus palabras.

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

When Jehu came out to the servants of his lord and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” He said to them, “You know the man and how he talks.”

Sie sprachen: Das ist nicht wahr; sage es uns doch! Er sprach: So und so hat er mit mir geredet und gesagt: So spricht der HERR: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt!

Y ellos dijeron: Mentira; decláranoslo ahora. Y él dijo: Así y así me habló, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Yo te he ungido por rey sobre Israel.

And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

They said, “That is a lie. Tell us now.” He said, “He said to me, ‘The LORD says, I have anointed you king over Israel.’”

Da eilten sie und nahmen ein jeder sein Kleid und legten sie unter ihn auf die bloßen Stufen; und sie stießen in die Posaune und riefen: Jehu ist König geworden!

Entonces tomaron prestamente su ropa, y púsola cada uno debajo de él en un trono alto, y tocaron corneta, y dijeron: Jehú es rey.

Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

Then they hurried, and each man took his cloak, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, saying, “Jehu is king.”

Also machte Jehu, der Sohn Josaphats, des Sohnes Nimsis, eine Verschwörung wider Joram. Joram aber hatte mit ganz Israel zu Ramot in Gilead wider Hasael, den König von Syrien, Wache gehalten.

Así conjuró Jehú hijo de Josaphat hijo de Nimsi, contra Joram. (Estaba Joram guardando á Ramoth de Galaad con todo Israel, por causa de Hazael rey de Siria.

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

Aber der König Joram war wieder umgekehrt, um sich zu Jesreel heilen zu lassen von den Wunden, welche ihm die Syrer geschlagen hatten, als er mit Hasael, dem König von Syrien, stritt. Und Jehu sprach: Wenn es euch recht ist, so soll niemand aus der Stadt entfliehen, um hinzugehen und es in Jesreel zu berichten!

Habíase empero vuelto el rey Joram á Jezreel, para curarse de las heridas que los Siros le habían hecho, peleando contra Hazael rey de Siria.) Y Jehú dijo: Si es vuestra voluntad, ninguno escape de la ciudad, para ir á dar las nuevas en Jezreel.

But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.

Und Jehu ritt nach Jesreel; denn Joram lag daselbst; auch war Ahasia, der König von Juda, herabgekommen, Joram zu besuchen.

Entonces Jehú cabalgó, y fuése á Jezreel, porque Joram estaba allí enfermo. También Ochôzías rey de Judá había descendido á visitar á Joram.

Der Wächter aber, der auf dem Turm zu Jesreel stand, sah Jehus Schar kommen und sprach: Ich sehe eine Schar! Da sprach Joram: Nimm einen Reiter und sende ihnen den entgegen und frage: Bedeutet es Friede?

Y el atalaya que estaba en la torre de Jezreel, vió la cuadrilla de Jehú, que venía, y dijo: Yo veo una cuadrilla. Y Joram dijo: Toma uno de á caballo, y envía á reconocerlos, y que les diga: ¿Hay paz?

And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, “I see a company.” Joram said, “Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, ‘Is it peace?’”

Und der Reiter ritt ihm entgegen und sprach: So spricht der König: Bedeutet es Friede? Jehu sprach: Was geht dich der Friede an? Wende dich, folge mir! Der Wächter verkündigte es und sprach: Der Bote ist zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück!

Fué pues el de á caballo á reconocerlos, y dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú le dijo: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí. El atalaya dió luego aviso, diciendo: El mensajero llegó hasta ellos, y no vuelve.

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”

Da sandte er einen andern Reiter. Als der zu ihm kam, sprach er: So spricht der König: Bedeutet es Friede? Jehu sprach: Was geht dich der Friede an? Wende dich, folge mir!

Entonces envió otro de á caballo, el cual llegando á ellos, dijo: El rey dice así: ¿Hay paz? Y Jehú respondió: ¿Qué tienes tú que ver con la paz? vuélvete tras mí.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, who came to them and said, “The king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu answered, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!”

Das verkündigte der Wächter und sprach: Der ist auch zu ihnen gekommen und kehrt nicht zurück; und es ist ein Jagen wie das Jagen Jehus, des Sohnes Nimsis, denn er jagt, als wäre er rasend!

El atalaya volvió á decir: También éste llegó á ellos y no vuelve: mas el marchar del que viene es como el marchar de Jehú hijo de Nimsi, porque viene impetuosamente.

And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

The watchman said, “He came to them, and isn’t coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

Da sprach Joram: Spanne an! Und man spannte seinen Wagen an, und sie zogen aus, Joram, der König von Israel, und Ahasia, der König von Juda, jeder auf seinem Wagen; sie fuhren Jehu entgegen, und sie trafen ihn auf dem Acker Nabots, des Jesreeliten.

Entonces Joram dijo: Unce. Y uncido que fué su carro, salió Joram rey de Israel, y Ochôzías rey de Judá, cada uno en su carro, y salieron á encontrar á Jehú, al cual hallaron en la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel.

And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Joram said, “Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

Als nun Joram den Jehu sah, sprach er: Jehu, bedeutet das Friede? Er aber sprach: Was Friede, bei all der Buhlerei und Zauberei deiner Mutter Isebel?

Y en viendo Joram á Jehú, dijo: ¿Hay paz, Jehú? Y él respondió: ¿Qué paz, con las fornicaciones de Jezabel tu madre, y sus muchas hechicerías?

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

When Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered, “What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

Da wandte sich Joram zur Flucht und sprach zu Ahasia: Verrat, Ahasia!

Entonces Joram volviendo la mano huyó, y dijo á Ochôzías: ¡Traición, Ochôzías!

And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.

Aber Jehu nahm den Bogen zur Hand und schoß Joram zwischen die Schultern, so daß der Pfeil durch sein Herz fuhr und er in seinen Wagen sank.

Mas Jehú flechó su arco, é hirió á Joram entre las espaldas, y la saeta salió por su corazón, y cayó en su carro.

And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.

Und Jehu sprach zu Bidekar, seinem Wagenkämpfer: Nimm ihn und wirf ihn auf das Ackerfeld Nabots, des Jesreeliten; denn gedenke, wie wir, ich und du, nebeneinander hinter seinem Vater Ahab herritten, als der HERR diesen Ausspruch über ihn tat:

Dijo luego Jehú á Bidkar su capitán: Tómalo y échalo á un cabo de la heredad de Naboth de Jezreel. Acuérdate que cuando tú y yo íbamos juntos con la gente de Achâb su padre, Jehová pronunció esta sentencia sobre él, diciendo:

Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden upon him;

Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how, when you and I rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this burden on him:

«Fürwahr, das Blut Nabots und das Blut seiner Söhne habe ich gestern gesehen, spricht der HERR; und ich werde es dir auf diesem Acker vergelten, spricht der HERR!» So nimm ihn und wirf ihn auf den Acker, nach dem Worte des HERRN!

Que yo he visto ayer las sangres de Naboth, y las sangres de sus hijos, dijo Jehová; y tengo de darte la paga en esta heredad, dijo Jehová. Tómalo pues ahora, y échalo en la heredad, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.

‘Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons,’ says the LORD; ‘and I will repay you in this plot of ground,’ says the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him onto the plot of ground, according to the LORD’s word.”

Als aber Ahasia, der König von Juda, solches sah, floh er dem Gartenhause zu. Jehu aber jagte ihm nach und sprach: Erschießt ihn auch! Da schossen sie ihn nieder auf seinem Wagen, beim Aufstieg nach Gur, das bei Jibleam liegt; und er floh gen Megiddo und starb daselbst.

Y viendo esto Ochôzías rey de Judá, huyó por el camino de la casa del huerto. Y siguiólo Jehú, diciendo: Herid también á éste en el carro. Y le hirieron á la subida de Gur, junto á Ibleam. Y él huyó á Megiddo, y murió allí.

But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

Und seine Knechte ließen ihn nach Jerusalem führen und begruben ihn in seinem Grabe mit seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids.

Y sus siervos le llevaron en un carro á Jerusalem, y allá le sepultaron con sus padres, en su sepulcro en la ciudad de David.

Ahasia aber war König geworden über Juda im elften Jahre Jorams, des Sohnes Ahabs.

En el undécimo año de Joram hijo de Achâb, comenzó á reinar Ochôzías sobre Judá.

And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.

Als nun Jehu nach Jesreel kam und Isebel solches hörte, schminkte sie ihr Angesicht und schmückte ihr Haupt und schaute zum Fenster hinaus.

Vino después Jehú á Jezreel: y como Jezabel lo oyó, adornó sus ojos con alcohol, y atavió su cabeza, y asomóse á una ventana.

And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Und als Jehu in das Tor kam, sprach sie: Ist es Simri wohl ergangen, der seinen Herrn ermordete?

Y como entraba Jehú por la puerta, ella dijo: ¿Sucedió bien á Zimri, que mató á su señor?

And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?

As Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, “Do you come in peace, Zimri, you murderer of your master?”

Da schaute er zum Fenster empor und sprach: Wer hält es mit mir? Wer? Da sahen zwei oder drei Kämmerer zu ihm hinab.

Alzando él entonces su rostro hacia la ventana, dijo: ¿Quién es conmigo? ¿quién? Y miraron hacia él dos ó tres eunucos.

And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.

He lifted up his face to the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.

Er sprach: Stürzet sie herab! Und sie stürzten sie hinunter, daß die Wände und die Pferde mit ihrem Blut bespritzt wurden; und sie zertraten sie.

Y él les dijo: Echadla abajo. Y ellos la echaron: y parte de su sangre fué salpicada en la pared, y en los caballos; y él la atropelló.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

He said, “Throw her down!” So they threw her down; and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses. Then he trampled her under foot.

Und als er hineinkam und gegessen und getrunken hatte, sprach er: Sehet doch nach dieser Verfluchten und begrabet sie, denn sie ist eines Königs Tochter!

Entró luego, y después que comió y bebió, dijo: Id ahora á ver aquella maldita, y sepultadla; que es hija de rey.

And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king’s daughter.

When he had come in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “See now to this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king’s daughter.”

Als sie aber hingingen, sie zu begraben, fanden sie nichts mehr von ihr als den Schädel, die Füße und die Handflächen;

Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

Therefore they came back, and told him. He said, “This is the LORD’s word, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘The dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel on the plot of Jezreel,

So wird der Leichnam Isebels sein wie Dünger auf dem Felde im Acker Jesreels», daß man nicht sagen kann: Dies ist Isebel!

Y el cuerpo de Jezabel fué cual estiércol sobre la faz de la tierra en la heredad de Jezreel; de manera que nadie pueda decir: Esta es Jezabel.

And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.

and the body of Jezebel will be as dung on the surface of the field on Jezreel’s land, so that they won’t say, “This is Jezebel.”’”
