Quanto mais seguirem nesse caminho, tanto mais vocês ficarão fortes espiritualmente, e se tornarão frutíferos e úteis no pleno conhecimento do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.

Mas qualquer um que deixar de seguir estes complementos da fé enxerga só o que está perto, e se esquece de que Deus o libertou da velha vida de pecado.
Mas el que no tiene estas cosas, es ciego, y tiene la vista muy corta, habiendo olvidado la purificación de sus antiguos pecados.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Portanto, queridos irmãos, trabalhem com ardor para provar que vocês estão realmente entre aqueles que Deus chamou e escolheu, e assim vocês nunca abandonarão a fé.
Por lo cual, hermanos, procurad tanto más de hacer firme vuestra vocación y elección; porque haciendo estas cosas, no caeréis jamás.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

E Deus abrirá as portas do céu para que vocês entrem no Reino eterno do nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo.
Porque de esta manera os será abundantemente administrada la entrada en el reino eterno de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo.
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Meu plano é continuar a relembrar-lhes estas coisas, embora vocês já as saibam e estejam realmente firmados na verdade!

Enquanto ainda estiver aqui na terra, no tabernáculo deste corpo, pretendo continuar lembrando-lhes destas coisas.

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

O Senhor Jesus Cristo, porém, mostrou-me que os meus dias aqui na terra já estão contados e que em breve deixarei este tabernáculo.

Portanto, nós vimos e tivemos a prova de que tudo quanto os profetas disseram cumpriu-se. Vocês farão bem em prestar toda a atenção a tudo o que eles escreveram, como luzes que brilham em lugares escuros até que o dia clareie e a estrela que anuncia uma nova manhã brilhe em seus corações.
Tenemos también la palabra profética más permanente, á la cual hacéis bien de estar atentos como á una antorcha que alumbra en lugar oscuro hasta que el día esclarezca, y el lucero de la mañana salga en vuestros corazones:
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Acima de tudo, saibam que nenhuma profecia da Escritura jamais foi inventada pelo próprio profeta.
