(und das Leben ist erschienen, und wir haben gesehen und zeugen und verkündigen euch das Leben, das ewig ist, welches war bei dem Vater und ist uns erschienen);

Pues como todas estas cosas han de ser deshechas, ¿qué tales conviene que vosotros seáis en santas y pías conversaciones,

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Therefore, since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
