E dizendo: Onde está a promessa da vinda dele? Pois desde que os pais dormiram, todas as coisas continuam como desde o princípio da criação.

Y diciendo: ¿Dónde está la promesa de su advenimiento? porque desde el día en que los padres durmieron, todas las cosas permanecen así como desde el principio de la creación.

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
