2 Pedro 3

Diletti, questa è già la seconda epistola che vi scrivo; e in ambedue io tengo desta la vostra mente sincera facendo appello alla vostra memoria,

CARÍSIMOS, yo os escribo ahora esta segunda carta, por las cuales ambas despierto con exhortación vuestro limpio entendimiento;

This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you

onde vi ricordiate delle parole dette già dai santi profeti, e del comandamento del Signore e Salvatore, trasmessovi dai vostri apostoli;

Para que tengáis memoria de las palabras que antes han sido dichas por los santos profetas, y de nuestro mandamiento, que somos apóstoles del Señor y Salvador:

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,

sapendo questo, prima di tutto: che negli ultimi giorni verranno degli schernitori coi loro scherni i quali si condurranno secondo le loro concupiscenze

Sabiendo primero esto, que en los postrimeros días vendrán burladores, andando según sus propias concupiscencias,

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts

e diranno: Dov’è la promessa della sua venuta? perché dal giorno in cui i padri si sono addormentati, tutte le cose continuano nel medesimo stato come dal principio della creazione.

Y diciendo: ¿Dónde está la promesa de su advenimiento? porque desde el día en que los padres durmieron, todas las cosas permanecen así como desde el principio de la creación.

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

Poiché costoro dimenticano questo volontariamente: che ab antico, per effetto della parola di Dio, esistettero de’ cieli e una terra tratta dall’acqua e sussistente in mezzo all’acqua;

Cierto ellos ignoran voluntariamente, que los cielos fueron en el tiempo antiguo, y la tierra que por agua y en agua está asentada, por la palabra de Dios;

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

For they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,

per i quali mezzi il mondo d’allora, sommerso dall’acqua, perì;

Por lo cual el mundo de entonces pereció anegado en agua:

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

by which means the world that existed then, being overflowed with water, perished.

mentre i cieli d’adesso e la terra, per la medesima Parola son custoditi, essendo riservati al fuoco per il giorno del giudizio e della distruzione degli uomini empi.

Mas los cielos que son ahora, y la tierra, son conservados por la misma palabra, guardados para el fuego en el día del juicio, y de la perdición de los hombres impíos.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But the heavens that exist now and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Ma voi, diletti, non dimenticate quest’unica cosa, che per il Signore, un giorno è come mille anni, e mille anni son come un giorno.

Mas, oh amados, no ignoréis esta una cosa: que un día delante del Señor es como mil años y mil años como un día.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Il Signore non ritarda l’adempimento della sua promessa, come alcuni reputano che faccia; ma egli è paziente verso voi, non volendo che alcuni periscano, ma che tutti giungano a ravvedersi.

El Señor no tarda su promesa, como algunos la tienen por tardanza; sino que es paciente para con nosotros, no queriendo que ninguno perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Ma il giorno del Signore verrà come un ladro; in esso i cieli passeranno stridendo, e gli elementi infiammati si dissolveranno, e la terra e le opere che sono in essa saranno arse.

Mas el día del Señor vendrá como ladrón en la noche; en el cual los cielos pasarán con grande estruendo, y los elementos ardiendo serán deshechos, y la tierra y las obras que en ella están serán quemadas.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Poiché dunque tutte queste cose hanno da dissolversi, quali non dovete voi essere, per santità di condotta e per pietà,

Pues como todas estas cosas han de ser deshechas, ¿qué tales conviene que vosotros seáis en santas y pías conversaciones,

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Therefore, since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,

aspettando ed affrettando la venuta del giorno di Dio, a cagion del quale i cieli infocati si dissolveranno e gli elementi infiammati si distruggeranno?

Esperando y apresurándoos para la venida del día de Dios, en el cual los cielos siendo encendidos serán deshechos, y los elementos siendo abrasados, se fundirán?

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

Ma, secondo la sua promessa, noi aspettiamo nuovi cieli e nuova terra, ne’ quali abiti la giustizia.

Bien que esperamos cielos nuevos y tierra nueva, según sus promesas, en los cuales mora la justicia.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Perciò, diletti, aspettando queste cose, studiatevi d’esser trovati, agli occhi suoi, immacolati e irreprensibili nella pace;

Por lo cual, oh amados, estando en esperanza de estas cosas, procurad con diligencia que seáis hallados de él sin mácula, y sin reprensión, en paz.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

e ritenete che la pazienza del Signor nostro è per la vostra salvezza, come anche il nostro caro fratello Paolo ve l’ha scritto, secondo la sapienza che gli è stata data;

Y tened por salud la paciencia de nuestro Señor; como también nuestro amado hermano Pablo, según la sabiduría que le ha sido dada, os ha escrito también;

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,

e questo egli fa in tutte le sue epistole, parlando in esse di questi argomenti; nelle quali epistole sono alcune cose difficili a capire, che gli uomini ignoranti e instabili torcono, come anche le altre Scritture, a loro propria perdizione.

Casi en todas sus epístolas, hablando en ellas de estas cosas; entre las cuales hay algunas difíciles de entender, las cuales los indoctos é inconstantes tuercen, como también las otras Escrituras, para perdición de sí mismos.

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Voi dunque, diletti, sapendo queste cose innanzi, state in guardia, che talora, trascinati anche voi dall’errore degli scellerati, non iscadiate dalla vostra fermezza;

Así que vosotros, oh amados, pues estáis amonestados, guardaos que por el error de los abominables no seáis juntamente extraviados, y caigáis de vuestra firmeza.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.

ma crescete nella grazia e nella conoscenza del nostro Signore e Salvatore Gesù Cristo. A lui sia la gloria, ora e in sempiterno. Amen.

Mas creced en la gracia y conocimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. A él sea gloria ahora y hasta el día de la eternidad. Amén.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
