2 Samuel 10

Da Joab nun sah, daß der Streit auf ihn gestellet war, vorne und hinten, erwahlete eraus aller jungen Mannschaft in Israel und rustete sich wider die Syrer.

Viendo pues Joab que había escuadrones delante y detrás de él, entresacó de todos los escogidos de Israel, y púsose en orden contra los Siros.

When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:
