2 Samuel 10

Joab reconnut qu'il aurait à livrer bataille devant son front et sur ses derrières ; il rangea donc en face des Syriens les plus vaillants des jeunes fils d'Israël.

Viendo pues Joab que había escuadrones delante y detrás de él, entresacó de todos los escogidos de Israel, y púsose en orden contra los Siros.

When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:
