2 Samuel 10

Viendo, pues, Joab que iban a acometerle de frente y por retaguardia, escogió entre todos los soldados de Israel a los más valientes, y se puso en orden de batalla contra los siros.

Viendo pues Joab que había escuadrones delante y detrás de él, entresacó de todos los escogidos de Israel, y púsose en orden contra los Siros.

When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:
