Sus servidores estaban asombrados. ―¡No lo comprendemos! —le dijeron—. Mientras el niño aún vivía usted lloraba y se negaba a comer, pero ahora que el niño ha muerto, usted ha dejado de llorar y está comiendo nuevamente.
Y dijéronle sus siervos: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho? Por el niño, viviendo aún, ayunabas y llorabas; y él muerto, levantástete y comiste pan.
Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child was dead, you rose up and ate bread.”
