aber der Arme hatte nichts denn ein einiges kleines Schäflein, das er gekauft hatte; und er nährete es, daß es groß ward bei ihm und bei seinen Kindern zugleich; es aß von seinem Bissen und trank von seinem Becher und schlief in seinem Schoß, und er hielt's wie eine Tochter.

Y ENVIÓ Jehová á Nathán á David, el cual viniendo á él, díjole: Había dos hombres en una ciudad, el uno rico, y el otro pobre.

And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.

Da aber dem reichen Mann ein Gast kam, schonete er, zu nehmen von seinen Schafen und Rindern, daß er dem Gast etwas zurichtete, der zu ihm kommen war, und nahm das Schaf des armen Mannes und richtete es zu dem Manne, der zu ihm kommen war.

El rico tenía numerosas ovejas y vacas:

Da ergrimmete David mit großem Zorn wider den Mann und sprach zu Nathan: So wahr der HERR lebt, der Mann ist ein Kind des Todes, der das getan hat!

Mas el pobre no tenía más que una sola cordera, que él había comprado y criado, y que había crecido con él y con sus hijos juntamente, comiendo de su bocado, y bebiendo de su vaso, y durmiendo en su seno: y teníala como á una hija.

But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.

Dazu soll er das Schaf vierfältig bezahlen, darum daß er solches getan und nicht geschonet hat.

Y vino uno de camino al hombre rico; y él no quiso tomar de sus ovejas y de sus vacas, para guisar al caminante que le había venido, sino que tomó la oveja de aquel hombre pobre, y aderezóla para aquél que le había venido.

And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.

A traveler came to the rich man, and he didn’t want to take of his own flock and of his own herd to prepare for the wayfaring man who had come to him, but took the poor man’s lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.”

Da sprach Nathan zu David: Du bist der Mann. So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum Könige gesalbet über Israel und habe dich errettet aus der Hand Sauls;

Entonces se encendió el furor de David en gran manera contra aquel hombre, y dijo á Nathán: Vive Jehová, que el que tal hizo es digno de muerte.

And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:

David’s anger burned hot against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die!

und habe dir deines HERRN Haus gegeben, dazu seine Weiber in deinen Schoß, und habe dir das Haus Israel und Juda gegeben; und ist das zu wenig, will ich noch dies und das dazu tun.

Warum hast du denn das Wort des HERRN verachtet, daß du solches Übel vor seinen Augen tätest? Uria, den Hethiter, hast du erschlagen mit dem Schwert; sein Weib hast du dir zum Weib genommen, ihn aber hast du erwürget mit dem Schwert der Kinder Ammon.

Entonces dijo Nathán á David: Tú eres aquel hombre. Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Yo te ungí por rey sobre Israel, y te libré de la mano de Saúl;

And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

Nun, so soll von deinem Hause das Schwert nicht lassen ewiglich, darum daß du mich verachtet hast und das Weib Urias, des Hethiters, genommen hast, daß sie dein Weib sei.

Yo te dí la casa de tu señor, y las mujeres de tu señor en tu seno: demás de esto te dí la casa de Israel y de Judá; y si esto es poco, yo te añadiré tales y tales cosas.

And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that would have been too little, I would have added to you many more such things.

So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will Unglück über dich erwecken aus deinem eigenen Hause und will deine Weiber nehmen vor deinen Augen und will sie deinem Nächsten geben, daß er bei deinen Weibern schlafen soll an der lichten Sonne.

¿Por qué pues tuviste en poco la palabra de Jehová, haciendo lo malo delante de sus ojos? A Uría Hetheo heriste á cuchillo, y tomaste por tu mujer á su mujer, y á él mataste con el cuchillo de los hijos de Ammón.

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Why have you despised the LORD’s word, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Denn du hast's heimlich getan; ich aber will dies tun vor dem ganzen Israel und an der Sonne.

Por lo cual ahora no se apartará jamás de tu casa la espada; por cuanto me menospreciaste, y tomaste la mujer de Uría Hetheo para que fuese tu mujer.

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken Uriah the Hittite’s wife to be your wife.’

Da sprach David zu Nathan: Ich habe gesündiget wider den HERRN. Nathan sprach zu David: So hat auch der HERR deine Sünde weggenommen, du wirst nicht sterben.

Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo levantaré sobre ti el mal de tu misma casa, y tomaré tus mujeres delante de tus ojos, y las daré á tu prójimo, el cual yacerá con tus mujeres á la vista de este sol.

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

“This is what the LORD says: ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

Aber weil du die Feinde des HERRN hast durch diese Geschichte lästern gemacht, wird der Sohn, der dir geboren ist, des Todes sterben.

Porque tú lo hiciste en secreto; mas yo haré esto delante de todo Israel, y delante del sol.

For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

For you did this secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.’”

Und Nathan ging heim. Und der HERR schlug das Kind, das Urias Weib David geboren hatte, daß es todkrank ward.

Entonces dijo David á Nathán: Pequé contra Jehová. Y Nathán dijo á David: También Jehová ha remitido tu pecado: no morirás.

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin. You will not die.

Und David ersuchte Gott um das Knäblein und fastete; und ging hinein und lag über Nacht auf der Erde.

Mas por cuanto con este negocio hiciste blasfemar á los enemigos de Jehová, el hijo que te ha nacido morirá ciertamente.

Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the LORD’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you will surely die.”

Da stunden auf die Ältesten seines Hauses und wollten ihn aufrichten von der Erde; er wollte aber nicht und aß auch nicht mit ihnen.

Y Nathán se volvió á su casa. Y Jehová hirió al niño que la mujer de Uría había parido á David, y enfermó gravemente.

And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

Am siebenten Tage aber starb das Kind. Und die Knechte Davids fürchteten sich, ihm anzusagen, daß das Kind tot wäre. Denn sie gedachten: Siehe, da das Kind noch lebendig war, redeten wir mit ihm, und er gehorchte unserer Stimme nicht; wie viel mehr wird es ihm wehe tun, so wir sagen: Das Kind ist tot.

Entonces rogó David á Dios por el niño; y ayunó David, recogióse, y pasó la noche acostado en tierra.

David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

Da aber David sah, daß seine Knechte leise redeten, und merkte, daß das Kind tot wäre, sprach er zu seinen Knechten: Ist das Kind tot? Sie sprachen: Ja.

Y levantándose los ancianos de su casa fueron á él para hacerlo levantar de tierra; mas él no quiso, ni comió con ellos pan.

And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

Da stund David auf von der Erde und wusch sich und salbete sich und tat andere Kleider an; und ging in das Haus des HERRN und betete an. Und da er wieder heimkam, hieß er ihm Brot auftragen und aß.

Y al séptimo día murió el niño; pero sus siervos no osaban hacerle saber que el niño era muerto, diciendo entre sí: Cuando el niño aun vivía, le hablábamos, y no quería oir nuestra voz: ¿pues cuánto más mal le hará, si le dijéremos que el niño es muerto?

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?

On the seventh day, the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him and he didn’t listen to our voice. How will he then harm himself if we tell him that the child is dead?”

Da sprachen seine Knechte zu ihm: Was ist das für ein Ding, das du tust? Da das Kind lebte, fastetest du und weinetest; nun es aber gestorben ist, stehest du auf und issest?

Mas David viendo á sus siervos hablar entre sí, entendió que el niño era muerto; por lo que dijo David á sus siervos: ¿Es muerto el niño? Y ellos respondieron: Muerto es.

But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.

But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David perceived that the child was dead; and David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.”

Er sprach: Um das Kind fastete ich und weinete, da es lebte; denn ich gedachte: Wer weiß, ob mir der HERR gnädig wird, daß das Kind lebendig bleibe.

Entonces David se levantó de tierra, y lavóse y ungióse, y mudó sus ropas, y entró á la casa de Jehová, y adoró. Y después vino á su casa, y demandó, y pusiéronle pan, y comió.

Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.

Nun es aber tot ist, was soll ich fasten? Kann ich es auch wiederum holen? Ich werde wohl zu ihm fahren, es kommt aber nicht wieder zu mir.

Y dijéronle sus siervos: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho? Por el niño, viviendo aún, ayunabas y llorabas; y él muerto, levantástete y comiste pan.

Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.

Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child was dead, you rose up and ate bread.”

Und da David sein Weib Bathseba getröstet hatte, ging er zu ihr hinein und schlief bei ihr. Und sie gebar einen Sohn, den hieß er Salomo. Und der HERR liebte ihn.

Y él respondió: Viviendo aún el niño, yo ayunaba y lloraba, diciendo: ¿Quién sabe si Dios tendrá compasión de mí, por manera que viva el niño?

And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?

He said, “While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who knows whether the LORD will not be gracious to me, that the child may live?’

Und er tat ihn unter die Hand Nathans, des Propheten; der hieß ihn Jedidja um des HERRN willen.

Mas ahora que ya es muerto, ¿para qué tengo de ayunar? ¿podré yo hacerle volver? Yo voy á él, mas él no volverá á mí.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

So stritt nun Joab wider Rabba der Kinder Ammon und gewann die königliche Stadt.

Y consoló David á Bath-sheba su mujer, y entrando á ella, durmió con ella; y parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Salomón, al cual amó Jehová:

Und sandte Boten zu David und ließ ihm sagen: Ich habe gestritten wider Rabba und habe auch gewonnen die Wasserstadt.

Que envió por mano de Nathán profeta, y llamó su nombre Jedidiah, á causa de Jehová.

And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.

So nimm nun zuhauf das übrige Volk und belagere die Stadt und gewinne sie, auf daß ich sie nicht gewinne und ich den Namen davon habe.

Y Joab peleaba contra Rabba de los hijos de Ammón, y tomó la ciudad real.

Also nahm David alles Volk zuhauf und zog hin und stritt wider Rabba und gewann sie.

Entonces envió Joab mensajeros á David, diciendo: Yo he peleado contra Rabba, y he tomado la ciudad de las aguas.

Und nahm die Krone ihres Königs von seinem Haupt, die am Gewicht einen Zentner Goldes hatte und Edelgesteine, und ward David auf sein Haupt gesetzt; und führete aus der Stadt sehr viel Raubs.

Aber das Volk drinnen führete er heraus und legte sie unter eiserne Sägen und Zacken und eiserne Keile und verbrannte sie in Ziegelöfen. So tat er allen Städten der Kinder Ammon. Da kehrete David und alles Volk wieder gen Jerusalem.

Und Amnon stellete sich krank um Thamars, seiner Schwester, willen. Denn sie war eine Jungfrau, und deuchte Amnon schwer sein, daß er ihr etwas sollte tun.

And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.
