2 Samuel 12

Und Jehovah sandte Nathan zu David. Und er kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: Es waren zwei Männer in einer Stadt; der eine war reich, der andere arm.

Y ENVIÓ Jehová á Nathán á David, el cual viniendo á él, díjole: Había dos hombres en una ciudad, el uno rico, y el otro pobre.

And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.

Der Reiche hatte Kleinvieh und Rinder sehr viel.

Der Arme aber hatte nichts von allem, außer ein kleines Lamm, das er gekauft, und er erhielt es am Leben, und es wurde groß bei ihm zusamt seinen Söhnen. Es aß von seinem Bissen und trank aus seinem Becher und lag an seinem Busen, und es war ihm wie eine Tochter.

Mas el pobre no tenía más que una sola cordera, que él había comprado y criado, y que había crecido con él y con sus hijos juntamente, comiendo de su bocado, y bebiendo de su vaso, y durmiendo en su seno: y teníala como á una hija.

But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.

Und es kam zu dem reichen Manne ein Wanderer, und es dauerte ihn, eins von seinem Kleinvieh und seinen Rindern zu nehmen und es dem Reisenden, der zu ihm gekommen war, zu bereiten, und er nahm das Lamm des armen Mannes und bereitete es für den Mann, der zu ihm gekommen.

Y vino uno de camino al hombre rico; y él no quiso tomar de sus ovejas y de sus vacas, para guisar al caminante que le había venido, sino que tomó la oveja de aquel hombre pobre, y aderezóla para aquél que le había venido.

And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.

A traveler came to the rich man, and he didn’t want to take of his own flock and of his own herd to prepare for the wayfaring man who had come to him, but took the poor man’s lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.”

Und es entbrannte Davids Zorn sehr wider den Mann, und er sprach zu Nathan: Beim Leben Jehovahs, der Mann, der dies getan, ist ein Sohn des Todes!

Entonces se encendió el furor de David en gran manera contra aquel hombre, y dijo á Nathán: Vive Jehová, que el que tal hizo es digno de muerte.

And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:

David’s anger burned hot against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die!

Und vierfach soll er das Schaf erstatten dafür, daß er solches getan und weil er kein Mitleid hatte.

Und Nathan sprach zu David: Du bist der Mann! So spricht Jehovah, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum König über Israel gesalbt und Ich habe aus Sauls Hand dich errettet,

Entonces dijo Nathán á David: Tú eres aquel hombre. Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Yo te ungí por rey sobre Israel, y te libré de la mano de Saúl;

And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

Und habe dir das Haus deines Herrn gegeben, und die Weiber deines Herrn an deinen Busen, und habe dir das Haus Israel und Judah gegeben, und hätte dir, wenn dies zu wenig war, noch dies und das dazugetan.

Yo te dí la casa de tu señor, y las mujeres de tu señor en tu seno: demás de esto te dí la casa de Israel y de Judá; y si esto es poco, yo te añadiré tales y tales cosas.

And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that would have been too little, I would have added to you many more such things.

Warum hast du das Wort Jehovahs verachtet, daß du tatest, was böse in Seinen Augen ist, den Chethiter Urijah hast du mit dem Schwert geschlagen, und sein Weib dir zum Weibe genommen, und ihn mit dem Schwerte der Söhne Ammons erwürgt!

¿Por qué pues tuviste en poco la palabra de Jehová, haciendo lo malo delante de sus ojos? A Uría Hetheo heriste á cuchillo, y tomaste por tu mujer á su mujer, y á él mataste con el cuchillo de los hijos de Ammón.

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Why have you despised the LORD’s word, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Nun aber soll von deinem Hause das Schwert nicht abweichen in Ewigkeit, weil du Mich verachtet und das Weib Urijahs, des Chethiters, genommen, daß sie dir zum Weibe sei.

Por lo cual ahora no se apartará jamás de tu casa la espada; por cuanto me menospreciaste, y tomaste la mujer de Uría Hetheo para que fuese tu mujer.

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken Uriah the Hittite’s wife to be your wife.’

So spricht Jehovah: Siehe, Ich lasse Übel aus deinem Hause über dich erstehen, und nehme vor deinen Augen deine Weiber weg und gebe sie deinem Genossen, und er wird bei deinen Weibern liegen vor den Augen dieser Sonne.

Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo levantaré sobre ti el mal de tu misma casa, y tomaré tus mujeres delante de tus ojos, y las daré á tu prójimo, el cual yacerá con tus mujeres á la vista de este sol.

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

“This is what the LORD says: ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

Denn du hast es heimlich getan. Ich aber will dies in Gegenwart von ganz Israel und in Gegenwart der Sonne tun.

Porque tú lo hiciste en secreto; mas yo haré esto delante de todo Israel, y delante del sol.

For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

For you did this secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.’”

Und David sprach zu Nathan: Ich habe gesündigt wider Jehovah. Und Nathan sprach zu David: So wird auch Jehovah deine Sünde vorübergehen lassen; du sollst nicht sterben.

Entonces dijo David á Nathán: Pequé contra Jehová. Y Nathán dijo á David: También Jehová ha remitido tu pecado: no morirás.

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin. You will not die.

Weil du aber die Feinde Jehovahs durch diese Sache lästern machst, soll auch der Sohn, der dir geboren ist, des Todes sterben.

Mas por cuanto con este negocio hiciste blasfemar á los enemigos de Jehová, el hijo que te ha nacido morirá ciertamente.

Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the LORD’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you will surely die.”

Und Nathan ging in sein Haus. Und Jehovah schlug das Kind, welches das Weib des Urijah dem David geboren hatte, und es ward todkrank.

Y Nathán se volvió á su casa. Y Jehová hirió al niño que la mujer de Uría había parido á David, y enfermó gravemente.

And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

Und David ersuchte Gott für den Jungen, und David fastete mit Fasten, und ging hinein und übernachtete und lag auf der Erde.

Entonces rogó David á Dios por el niño; y ayunó David, recogióse, y pasó la noche acostado en tierra.

David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

Und die Ältesten seines Hauses machten sich auf zu ihm, um ihn von der Erde aufzurichten; aber er war nicht willens, und er speiste auch nicht Brot mit ihnen.

And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

Und es geschah am siebenten Tage, daß das Kind starb; und die Knechte Davids fürchteten sich, ihm anzusagen, daß das Kind tot wäre, denn sie sagten: Siehe, solange das Kind am Leben war, redeten wir zu ihm und er hörte nicht auf unsere Stimme; und wie sollen wir ihm sagen, daß das Kind tot ist und er sich Böses tue?

Y al séptimo día murió el niño; pero sus siervos no osaban hacerle saber que el niño era muerto, diciendo entre sí: Cuando el niño aun vivía, le hablábamos, y no quería oir nuestra voz: ¿pues cuánto más mal le hará, si le dijéremos que el niño es muerto?

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?

On the seventh day, the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him and he didn’t listen to our voice. How will he then harm himself if we tell him that the child is dead?”

Und David sah, daß seine Knechte sich zuflüsterten, und David merkte, daß das Kind tot war. Und David sprach zu seinen Knechten: Ist das Kind tot? Und sie sagten: Es ist tot.

Mas David viendo á sus siervos hablar entre sí, entendió que el niño era muerto; por lo que dijo David á sus siervos: ¿Es muerto el niño? Y ellos respondieron: Muerto es.

But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.

But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David perceived that the child was dead; and David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.”

Und David stand auf von der Erde und wusch sich und salbte sich und wechselte seine Gewänder, und kam in das Haus Jehovahs und betete an; und er kam in sein Haus und forderte, und sie setzten ihm Brot vor und er aß;

Entonces David se levantó de tierra, y lavóse y ungióse, y mudó sus ropas, y entró á la casa de Jehová, y adoró. Y después vino á su casa, y demandó, y pusiéronle pan, y comió.

Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.

Und seine Knechte sprachen zu ihm: Wie ist das, das du tust? Um das Kind, solange es lebte, hast du gefastet und geweint, und da das Kind tot ist, stehst du auf und ißt Brot.

Y dijéronle sus siervos: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho? Por el niño, viviendo aún, ayunabas y llorabas; y él muerto, levantástete y comiste pan.

Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.

Then his servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive, but when the child was dead, you rose up and ate bread.”

Und er sprach: Solange das Kind noch lebte, fastete und weinte ich, denn ich sprach: Wer weiß, ob Jehovah mir gnädig wird, daß das Kind am Leben bleibt.

Y él respondió: Viviendo aún el niño, yo ayunaba y lloraba, diciendo: ¿Quién sabe si Dios tendrá compasión de mí, por manera que viva el niño?

And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?

He said, “While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who knows whether the LORD will not be gracious to me, that the child may live?’

Und jetzt ist es tot, warum soll ich da fasten? Kann ich es wieder zurückbringen? Ich gehe zu ihm, aber es kommt nicht zu mir zurück.

Mas ahora que ya es muerto, ¿para qué tengo de ayunar? ¿podré yo hacerle volver? Yo voy á él, mas él no volverá á mí.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

Und David tröstete Bathscheba, sein Weib, und kam zu ihr und lag bei ihr; und sie gebar einen Sohn, und er nannte seinen Namen Salomoh, und Jehovah liebte ihn.

Y consoló David á Bath-sheba su mujer, y entrando á ella, durmió con ella; y parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Salomón, al cual amó Jehová:

And David comforted Bath-sheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.

Und sandte hin durch die Hand Nathans, des Propheten, und nannte seinen Namen Jedidjah um Jehovahs willen.

Que envió por mano de Nathán profeta, y llamó su nombre Jedidiah, á causa de Jehová.

And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.

Und Joab stritt wider Rabbah der Söhne Ammons und gewann die Stadt des Königreiches.

Und nun versammle das übrige des Volkes und lagere gegen die Stadt und gewinne sie, auf daß nicht ich die Stadt gewinne und mein Name über ihr genannt werde.

Und David versammelte alles Volk und zog nach Rabbah und stritt wider sie und gewann sie.

Und das Volk, das darin war, brachte er heraus und legte sie unter Sägen und eiserne Dreschwalzen und eiserne Beile und trieb in Ziegelöfen, und so tat er allen Städten der Söhne Ammons. Und David und alles Volk kehrten zurück nach Jerusalem.

And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.

He brought out the people who were in it, and put them to work under saws, under iron picks, under axes of iron, and made them go to the brick kiln; and he did so to all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
