2 Samuel 13

Le roi répondit à Absalon: "Oh! non, mon fils, n'y allons pas tous, pour ne pas t'être à charge." Il insista encore, mais David refusa d'y aller et lui donna sa bénédiction.

Y respondió el rey á Absalom: No, hijo mío, no vamos todos, porque no te hagamos costa. Y aunque porfió con él, no quiso ir, mas bendíjolo.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

The king said to Absalom, “No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.
