2 Samuel 13

Aconteceu que, depois disso, Amnom, filho de Davi, ficou muito atraído por sua bonita meia irmã Tamar, que era irmã legítima de Absalão, um dos outros filhos de Davi.

ACONTECIÓ después de esto, que teniendo Absalom hijo de David una hermana hermosa que se llamaba Thamar, enamoróse de ella Amnón hijo de David.

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.

After this, Absalom the son of David had a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.

Amnom estava tão frustrado que ficou doente por causa de sua irmã Tamar. Ela era virgem, e parecia impossível a Amnom lhe fazer alguma coisa.

Y estaba Amnón angustiado hasta enfermar, por Thamar su hermana: porque por ser ella virgen, parecía á Amnón que sería cosa dificultosa hacerle algo.

And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her.

Amnon was so troubled that he became sick because of his sister Tamar, for she was a virgin, and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.

Mas Amnom tinha um amigo cujo nome era Jonadabe, filho de Simeia, irmão de Davi. Jonadabe era um homem muito astuto.

Y Amnón tenía un amigo que se llamaba Jonadab, hijo de Simea, hermano de David: y era Jonadab hombre muy astuto.

But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man.

But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab the son of Shimeah, David’s brother; and Jonadab was a very subtle man.

Ele disse a Amnom: "Por que, filho do rei, estás deprimido toda manhã? Não queres me contar?". Amnom lhe respondeu: "Eu amo Tamar, irmã de meu irmão Absalão".

Y éste le dijo: Hijo del rey, ¿por qué de día en día vas así enflaqueciendo? ¿no me lo descubrirás á mí? Y Amnón le respondió: Yo amo á Thamar la hermana de Absalom mi hermano.

And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king’s son, lean from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.

He said to him, “Why, son of the king, are you so sad from day to day? Won’t you tell me?” Amnon said to him, “I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.”

Então, Jonadabe lhe disse: "Deita-te na tua cama e finge estar doente. Quando teu pai vier te ver, pede-lhe: 'Poderias enviar, por favor, minha irmã Tamar para me dar alguma coisa de comer e cozinhar diante de mim, para que eu veja e coma da sua mão?'".

Y Jonadab le dijo: Acuéstate en tu cama, y finge que estás enfermo; y cuando tu padre viniere á visitarte, dile: Ruégote que venga mi hermana Thamar, para que me conforte con alguna comida, y aderece delante de mí alguna vianda, para que viendo yo, la coma de su mano.

And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.

Jonadab said to him, “Lay down on your bed and pretend to be sick. When your father comes to see you, tell him, ‘Please let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.’”

Amnom se deitou e fingiu estar doente. Quando o rei veio vê-lo, Amnom disse ao rei: "Por favor, envia minha irmã Tamar para fazer alguma comida diante de mim, para que eu possa comer das mãos dela".

Acostóse pues Amnón, y fingió que estaba enfermo, y vino el rey á visitarle: y dijo Amnón al rey: Yo te ruego que venga mi hermana Thamar, y haga delante de mí dos hojuelas, que coma yo de su mano.

So Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.

So Amnon lay down and faked being sick. When the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, “Please let my sister Tamar come and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat from her hand.”

Davi, então, mandou Tamar, que estava no palácio, e disse-lhe: "Vai à casa de teu irmão Amnom e prepara-lhe algum alimento".

Y David envió á Thamar á su casa, diciendo: Ve ahora á casa de Amnón tu hermano, y hazle de comer.

Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon’s house, and dress him meat.

Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, “Go now to your brother Amnon’s house, and prepare food for him.”

Assim, Tamar foi à casa de seu irmão Amnom, que estava deitado. Ela pegou a massa e a amassou, fez pão à sua vista, e o assou.

Y fué Thamar á casa de su hermano Amnón, el cual estaba acostado; y tomó harina, y amasó é hizo hojuelas delante de él, y aderezólas.

So Tamar went to her brother Amnon’s house; and he was laid down. And she took flour, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.

Ela tomou a forma e deu o pão a ele; porém, ele se recusou a comer. Então, Amnom disse aos outros presentes: "Saí todos para longe de mim". Então, todos se retiraram dele.

Tomó luego la sartén, y sacólas delante de él: mas él no quiso comer. Y dijo Amnón: Echad fuera de aquí á todos. Y todos se salieron de allí.

And she took a pan, and poured them out before him; but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have out all men from me. And they went out every man from him.

She took the pan and poured them out before him, but he refused to eat. Amnon said, “Have all men leave me.” Then every man went out from him.

Então, Amnom disse a Tamar: "Traz o alimento ao meu quarto para que eu possa comer de tua mão". Então, Tamar tomou o pão que havia feito e o levou ao quarto de Amnom, seu irmão.

Entonces Amnón dijo á Thamar: Trae la comida á la alcoba, para que yo coma de tu mano. Y tomando Thamar las hojuelas que había aderezado, llevólas á su hermano Amnón á la alcoba.

And Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.

Amnon said to Tamar, “Bring the food into the room, that I may eat from your hand.” Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the room to Amnon her brother.

Quando ela lhe trouxe o alimento, ele a segurou e disse: "Vem, deita-te comigo, minha irmã".

Y como ella se las puso delante para que comiese, él trabó de ella, diciéndole: Ven, hermana mía acuéstate conmigo.

And when she had brought them unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister.

When she had brought them near to him to eat, he took hold of her and said to her, “Come, lie with me, my sister!”

Ela lhe respondeu: "Não, meu irmão, não me forces! Não se faz isso em Israel. Não faças essa coisa horrível!

Ella entonces le respondió: No, hermano mío, no me hagas fuerza; porque no se ha de hacer así en Israel. No hagas tal desacierto.

And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.

She answered him, “No, my brother, do not force me! For no such thing ought to be done in Israel. Don’t you do this folly!

Como eu poderia esconder a minha vergonha? E tu? Tu serias como um dos loucos de Israel! Agora, por favor, fala com o rei! Ele não me negará a ti".

Porque, ¿dónde iría yo con mi deshonra? Y aun tú serías estimado como uno de los perversos en Israel. Ruégote pues ahora que hables al rey, que no me negará á ti.

And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.

As for me, where would I carry my shame? And as for you, you will be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, please speak to the king; for he will not withhold me from you.”

Amnon não a ouviu. Como ele era mais forte do que Tamar, ele a segurou e deitou-se com ela.

Mas él no la quiso oir; antes pudiendo más que ella la forzó, y echóse con ella.

Howbeit he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.

However, he would not listen to her voice; but being stronger than she, he forced her and lay with her.

Então, Amnom odiou Tamar com extrema aversão. Ele a odiou mais do que a havia desejado. Amnom lhe disse: "Levanta e sai".

Aborrecióla luego Amnón de tan grande aborrecimiento, que el odio con que la aborreció fué mayor que el amor con que la había amado. Y díjole Amnón: Levántate y vete.

Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone.

Then Amnon hated her with exceedingly great hatred; for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. Amnon said to her, “Arise, be gone!”

Ela lhe respondeu: "Não! Porque este grande mal de me fazer sair é pior do que o que me fizeste!". Mas Amnom não a ouviu.

Y ella le respondió: No es razón; mayor mal es éste de echarme, que el que me has hecho. Mas él no la quiso oir:

And she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou didst unto me. But he would not hearken unto her.

She said to him, “Not so, because this great wrong in sending me away is worse than the other that you did to me!” But he would not listen to her.

Ao invés disso, ele chamou seu servo pessoal e lhe disse: "Tira esta mulher de diante de mim, e tranca a porta após ela".

Antes llamando su criado que le servía dijo: Echame ésta allá fuera, y tras ella cierra la puerta.

Then he called his servant that ministered unto him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.

Then he called his servant who ministered to him, and said, “Now put this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.”

Então, seu servo a colocou para fora e trancou a porta após ela. Tamar estava usando uma túnica toda trabalhada, porque era assim que as filhas virgens do rei se vestiam.

Y tenía ella sobre sí una ropa de colores, traje que las hijas vírgenes de los reyes vestían. Echóla pues fuera su criado, y cerró la puerta tras ella.

And she had a garment of divers colours upon her: for with such robes were the king’s daughters that were virgins apparelled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.

Ela colocou cinzas em sua cabeça e rasgou a sua túnica; colocou as mãos sobre sua cabeça e se foi, chorando alto enquanto ia.

Entonces Thamar tomó ceniza, y esparcióla sobre su cabeza, y rasgó la ropa de colores de que estaba vestida, y puestas sus manos sobre su cabeza, fuése gritando.

And Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.

Tamar put ashes on her head, and tore her garment of various colors that was on her; and she laid her hand on her head and went her way, crying aloud as she went.

Absalão, seu irmão lhe disse: "Esteve Amnom, teu irmão, contigo? Porém, agora fica calada, minha irmã. Ele é teu irmão. Não leves essas coisas ao teu coração". Então, Tamar permaneceu sozinha na casa de seu irmão, Absalão.

Y díjole su hermano Absalom: ¿Ha estado contigo tu hermano Amnón? Pues calla ahora, hermana mía: tu hermano es; no pongas tu corazón en este negocio. Y quedóse Thamar desconsolada en casa de Absalom su hermano.

And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.

Absalom her brother said to her, “Has Amnon your brother been with you? But now hold your peace, my sister. He is your brother. Don’t take this thing to heart.” So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.

Mas, quando o rei Davi ouviu sobre todas essas coisas, ele se enfureceu muito.

But when king David heard of all these things, he was very wroth.

Absalão não disse nada a Amnom porque Absalão o odiou pelo que ele havia feito a Tamar, e como ele havia desonrado sua irmã.

Mas Absalom no habló con Amnón ni malo ni bueno; bien que Absalom aborrecía á Amnón, porque había forzado á Thamar su hermana.

And Absalom spake unto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.

Aconteceu que, depois de dois anos inteiros, Absalão tinha tosquiadores trabalhando em Baal-Hazor, que fica perto de Efraim. Absalão convidou todos os filhos do rei para visitá-lo ali.

Y aconteció pasados dos años, que Absalom tenía esquiladores en Bala-hasor, que está junto á Ephraim; y convidó Absalom á todos los hijos del rey.

And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in Baal-hazor, which is beside Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king’s sons.

After two full years, Absalom had sheep shearers in Baal Hazor, which is beside Ephraim; and Absalom invited all the king’s sons.

Absalão foi ao rei e disse: "Agora vê, teus servos estão tosquiando as ovelhas. Por favor, que venham o rei e seus servos comigo, o teu servo".

Y vino Absalom al rey, y díjole: He aquí, tu siervo tiene ahora esquiladores: yo ruego que venga el rey y sus siervos con tu siervo.

And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

Absalom came to the king and said, “See now, your servant has sheep shearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

O rei respondeu a Absalão: "Não, meu filho, não devemos ir todos nós, porque nós seríamos um peso para ti". Absalão encorajou o rei, mas este não foi; entretanto, ele abençoou Absalão.

Y respondió el rey á Absalom: No, hijo mío, no vamos todos, porque no te hagamos costa. Y aunque porfió con él, no quiso ir, mas bendíjolo.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

The king said to Absalom, “No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.

Então, Absalão disse: "Se não, por favor deixa meu irmão Amnom ir conosco". O rei lhe perguntou: "Por que Amnom deve ir contigo?".

Entonces dijo Absalom: Si no, ruégote que venga con nosotros Amnón mi hermano. Y el rey le respondió: ¿Para qué ha de ir contigo?

Then said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with thee?

Then Absalom said, “If not, please let my brother Amnon go with us.” The king said to him, “Why should he go with you?”

Absalão pressionou Davi, e ele deixou Amnom e todos os outros filhos irem com ele.

Y como Absalom lo importunase, dejó ir con él á Amnón y á todos los hijos del rey.

But Absalom pressed him, that he let Amnon and all the king’s sons go with him.

Absalão ordenou aos seus servos, dizendo: "Ouvi atentamente: quando Amnom se embriagar com vinho e quando eu vos disser 'atacai Amnom', então, matai-o. Não fiqueis com medo. Não sou eu quem vos ordenei? Sede bravos e corajosos!".

Y había Absalom dado orden á sus criados, diciendo: Ahora bien, mirad cuándo el corazón de Amnón estará alegre del vino, y en diciéndoos yo, Herid á Amnón, entonces matadle, y no temáis; que yo os lo he mandado. Esforzaos pues, y sed valientes.

Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.

Absalom commanded his servants, saying, “Mark now, when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine; and when I tell you, ‘Strike Amnon,’ then kill him. Don’t be afraid. Haven’t I commanded you? Be courageous, and be valiant!”

Os servos de Absalão fizeram a Amnom conforme as suas ordens. Então, todos os filhos do rei se levantaram, e cada homem montou em sua mula e fugiu.

Y los criados de Absalom hicieron con Amnón como Absalom lo había mandado. Levantáronse luego todos los hijos del rey, y subieron todos en sus mulos, y huyeron.

And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up upon his mule, and fled.

E aconteceu que, enquanto eles estavam na estrada, as notícias chegaram a Davi, que disse: "Absalão matou todos os filhos do rei, e não sobrou nenhum".

Y estando aún ellos en el camino, llegó á David el rumor que decía: Absalom ha muerto á todos los hijos del rey, que ninguno de ellos ha quedado.

And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left.

While they were on the way, the news came to David, saying, “Absalom has slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left!”

Então, o rei se levantou, rasgou suas vestes e se prostrou no chão, e todos os seus servos estavam com suas vestes rasgadas.

Entonces levantándose David, rasgó sus vestidos, y echóse en tierra, y todos sus criados, rasgados sus vestidos, estaban delante.

Then the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent.

Jonadabe, filho de Simeia, irmão de Davi, respondeu e disse: "Meu senhor, não deves acreditar que mataram todos os jovens, filhos do rei, pois só Amnom está morto. Absalão planejou isso desde o dia em que Amnon violentou sua irmã Tamar.

Y Jonadab, hijo de Simea hermano de David, habló y dijo: No diga mi señor que han muerto á todos los jóvenes hijos del rey, que sólo Amnón es muerto: porque en boca de Absalom estaba puesto desde el día que Amnón forzó á Thamar su hermana.

And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that they have slain all the young men the king’s sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this hath been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.

Jonadab the son of Shimeah, David’s brother, answered, “Don’t let my lord suppose that they have killed all the young men, the king’s sons, for Amnon only is dead; for by the appointment of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.

Por isso, meu senhor, o rei não deve colocar essas coisas no coração e acreditar que todos os filhos do rei estão mortos, pois só Amnom está morto".

Por tanto, ahora no ponga mi señor el rey en su corazón esa voz que dice: Todos los hijos del rey son muertos: porque sólo Amnón es muerto.

Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.

Absalão fugiu. Um servo que estava de guarda levantou os olhos e viu muita gente vindo no caminho, na encosta, a oeste dele.

Absalom huyó luego. Entre tanto, alzando sus ojos el mozo que estaba en atalaya, miró, y he aquí mucho pueblo que venía á sus espaldas por el camino de hacia el monte.

But Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behind him.

Então, Jonadabe disse ao rei: "Vê, os filhos do rei estão vindo, assim como teu servo disse".

Y dijo Jonadab al rey: He allí los hijos del rey que vienen: es así como tu siervo ha dicho.

And Jonadab said unto the king, Behold, the king’s sons come: as thy servant said, so it is.

Jonadab said to the king, “Behold, the king’s sons are coming! It is as your servant said.”

Assim, aconteceu que, acabando de falar, os filhos do rei chegaram, levantaram sua voz e choraram. O rei e todos os seus servos também choraram amargamente.

Y como él acabó de hablar, he aquí los hijos del rey que vinieron, y alzando su voz lloraron. Y también el mismo rey y todos sus siervos lloraron con muy grandes lamentos.

And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the king’s sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.

As soon as he had finished speaking, behold, the king’s sons came, and lifted up their voices and wept. The king also and all his servants wept bitterly.

Porém, Absalão fugiu para Talmai, filho de Amiur, rei de Gesur. Davi lamentou por seu filho todos os dias.

Mas Absalom huyó, y fuése á Talmai hijo de Amiud, rey de Gessur. Y David lloraba por su hijo todos los días.

But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.

Absalão fugiu e foi para Gesur, onde ficou por três anos.

Y después que Absalom huyó y se fué á Gessur, estuvo allá tres años.

Em seu pensamento, o rei Davi desejava ir e ver Absalão, porque ele estava confortado sobre a morte de Amnom.

And the soul of king David longed to go forth unto Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
