Ensuite, Absalon envoya chez Joab pour que celui-ci le menât chez le roi, mais il ne voulut point venir ; Absalon envoya une seconde fois ; Joab refusa encore.

Y mandó Absalom por Joab, para enviarlo al rey; mas no quiso venir á él; ni aunque envió por segunda vez, quiso él venir.

Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to have sent him to the king; but he would not come to him: and when he sent again the second time, he would not come.
