12Mientras Absalón ofrecía sacrificios, mandó llamar a Ahitofel el gilonita, consejero de David, pidiéndole que viniera desde Gilo, la ciudad donde vivía. La conspiración se hizo más fuerte, y los seguidores de Absalón seguían aumentando.

12También envió Absalom por Achitophel Gilonita, del consejo de David, á Gilo su ciudad, mientras hacía sus sacrificios. Y la conjuración vino á ser grande, pues se iba aumentando el pueblo con Absalom.

12And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
