19El rey se dirigió a Itay, el jefe de los seiscientos guititas, y le dijo: ―¿Qué estás haciendo aquí? Vuelve y quédate con el nuevo rey, porque tú eres extranjero en Israel, y estás desterrado de tu patria. Casi acabas de llegar y no encuentro justo que te obligue a ir con nosotros quién sabe por qué lugares. Vuelve y lleva tus tropas contigo, y que el Señor sea misericordioso contigo.

19Y dijo el rey á Ittai Getheo: ¿Para qué vienes tú también con nosotros? vuélvete y quédate con el rey; porque tú eres extranjero, y desterrado también de tu lugar.

19Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile.

19Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, “Why do you also go with us? Return, and stay with the king; for you are a foreigner and also an exile. Return to your own place.
