Darnach aber begab es sich, daß Absalom sich Wagen und Pferde verschaffte und fünfzig Trabanten, die vor ihm herliefen.

ACONTECIÓ después de esto, que Absalom se hizo de carros y caballos, y cincuenta hombres que corriesen delante de él.

Y levantábase Absalom de mañana, y poníase á un lado del camino de la puerta; y á cualquiera que tenía pleito y venía al rey á juicio, Absalom le llamaba á sí, y decíale: ¿De qué ciudad eres? Y él respondía: Tu siervo es de una de las tribus de Israel.

And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.

so sprach Absalom zu ihm: «Siehe, deine Sache ist gut und recht, aber beim König ist niemand, der dir Gehör schenkt!»

Entonces Absalom le decía: Mira, tus palabras son buenas y justas: mas no tienes quien te oiga por el rey.

And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.

Und Absalom sprach: O daß man doch mich zum Richter im Lande setzte, daß jedermann zu mir käme, der einen Rechtsstreit hat; ich würde ihm zu seinem Rechte verhelfen!

Y decía Absalom: ¡Quién me pusiera por juez en la tierra, para que viniesen á mí todos los que tienen pleito ó negocio, que yo les haría justicia!

Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!

Und wenn jemand kam, um sich vor ihm niederzuwerfen, so reichte er ihm die Hand, faßte ihn und küßte ihn.

And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.

Also tat Absalom allen Israeliten, die zum König vor Gericht kamen, und erstahl sich die Herzen der Männer Israels.

Y de esta manera hacía con todo Israel que venía al rey á juicio: y así robaba Absalom el corazón de los de Israel.

And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

Als er nun das vierzigste Jahr zurückgelegt hatte, sprach Absalom zum König: Ich möchte doch hingehen nach Hebron und mein Gelübde erfüllen, das ich dem HERRN gelobt habe.

Y al cabo de cuarenta años aconteció que Absalom dijo al rey: Yo te ruego me permitas que vaya á Hebrón, á pagar mi voto que he prometido á Jehová:

And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.

Dein Knecht hat nämlich ein Gelübde getan, als ich zu Geschur in Syrien wohnte, das lautete also: Wenn mich der HERR wieder nach Jerusalem zurückbringt, so will ich dem HERRN dienen!

Porque tu siervo hizo voto cuando estaba en Gessur en Siria, diciendo: Si Jehová me volviere á Jerusalem, yo serviré á Jehová.

For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.

Der König sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin in Frieden! Da machte er sich auf und ging nach Hebron.

And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

Und Absalom sandte Kundschafter in alle Stämme Israels und ließ sagen: Wenn ihr den Schall der Posaunen hört, so sprecht: Absalom ist König geworden zu Hebron!

Und es gingen mit Absalom zweihundert Männer aus Jerusalem, die geladen waren und arglos hingingen, ohne von irgend etwas zu wissen.

Absalom schickte auch nach Ahitophel, dem Giloniter, dem Ratgeber Davids, und ließ ihn aus seiner Stadt Gilo holen, während er die Opfer schlachtete. Und die Verschwörung wurde stark, und das Volk nahm beständig zu bei Absalom.

También envió Absalom por Achitophel Gilonita, del consejo de David, á Gilo su ciudad, mientras hacía sus sacrificios. Y la conjuración vino á ser grande, pues se iba aumentando el pueblo con Absalom.

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

Da kam ein Bote und zeigte es David an und sprach: Das Herz der Männer Israels hat sich Absalom zugewandt!

And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.

David aber sprach zu allen seinen Knechten, die bei ihm zu Jerusalem waren: Auf, lasset uns fliehen; denn hier wird kein Entrinnen sein vor Absalom! Machet euch eilends davon, daß er uns nicht ereile und einhole und Unglück über uns bringe und die Stadt mit der Schärfe des Schwertes schlage!

Entonces David dijo á todos sus siervos que estaban con él en Jerusalem: Levantaos y huyamos, porque no podremos escapar delante de Absalom; daos priesa á partir, no sea que apresurándose él nos alcance, y arroje el mal sobre nosotros, y hiera la ciudad á filo de espada.

And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.

David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, “Arise! Let’s flee, or else none of us will escape from Absalom. Hurry to depart, lest he overtake us quickly and bring down evil on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”

Da sprachen die Knechte des Königs zu ihm: Ganz wie unser Herr, der König, will; siehe, hier sind deine Knechte!

Y los siervos del rey dijeron al rey: He aquí, tus siervos están prestos á todo lo que nuestro señor el rey eligiere.

And the king’s servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.

Und der König zog aus und sein ganzes Haus hinter ihm her; doch ließ der König zehn Kebsweiber zurück, das Haus zu hüten.

Aber der König sprach zu Ittai, dem Gatiter: Warum willst auch du mit uns ziehen? Kehre um und bleibe bei dem König! Denn du bist ein Fremder; auch kannst du an deinen Ort auswandern.

Y dijo el rey á Ittai Getheo: ¿Para qué vienes tú también con nosotros? vuélvete y quédate con el rey; porque tú eres extranjero, y desterrado también de tu lugar.

Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile.

Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, “Why do you also go with us? Return, and stay with the king; for you are a foreigner and also an exile. Return to your own place.

Gestern bist du gekommen, und heute sollte ich dich schon mit uns umherirren lassen, da ich hingehen muß, wohin ich kann? Kehre um und führe deine Brüder zurück; dir widerfahre Barmherzigkeit und Treue!

¿Ayer viniste, y téngote de hacer hoy que mudes lugar para ir con nosotros? Yo voy como voy: tú vuélvete, y haz volver á tus hermanos; en ti haya misericordia y verdad.

Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee.

Whereas you came but yesterday, should I today make you go up and down with us, since I go where I may? Return, and take back your brothers. Mercy and truth be with you.”

Ittai aber antwortete dem König und sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt, und so wahr mein Herr, der König, lebt: an welchem Ort mein Herr und König sein wird (es gehe zum Tode oder zum Leben), daselbst soll auch dein Diener sein!

Y respondió Ittai al rey, diciendo: Vive Dios, y vive mi señor el rey, que, ó para muerte ó para vida, donde mi señor el rey estuviere, allí estará también tu siervo.

And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the LORD liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be.

Ittai answered the king and said, “As the LORD lives, and as my lord the king lives, surely in what place my lord the king is, whether for death or for life, your servant will be there also.”

Da sprach David zu Ittai: Geh und zieh vorüber! Also zog Ittai, der Gatiter, vorüber und alle seine Männer und sein ganzer Troß mit ihm.

Entonces David dijo á Ittai: Ven pues, y pasa. Y pasó Ittai Getheo, y todos sus hombres, y toda su familia.

And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him.

Und das ganze Land weinte mit lauter Stimme, während alles Volk vorüberzog. Darnach überschritt auch der König den Bach Kidron, und alles Volk schlug den Weg ein, der zur Wüste führt.

Y todo el país lloró en alta voz; pasó luego toda la gente el torrente de Cedrón; asimismo pasó el rey, y todo el pueblo pasó, al camino que va al desierto.

And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.

Und siehe, Zadok und alle Leviten mit ihm trugen die Bundeslade Gottes und stellten sie dort hin; Abjatar aber stieg hinauf, bis alles Volk aus der Stadt vollends vorübergezogen war.

Y he aquí, también iba Sadoc, y con él todos los Levitas que llevaban el arca del pacto de Dios; y asentaron el arca del pacto de Dios. Y subió Abiathar después que hubo acabado de salir de la ciudad todo el pueblo.

And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city.

Aber der König sprach zu Zadok: Bringe die Lade Gottes wieder in die Stadt zurück! Finde ich Gnade vor dem HERRN, so wird er mich zurückbringen, daß ich ihn und seine Wohnung wiedersehen darf;

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:

The king said to Zadok, “Carry God’s ark back into the city. If I find favor in the LORD’s eyes, he will bring me again, and show me both it and his habitation;

spricht er aber also zu mir: Ich habe keine Lust zu dir! siehe, hier bin ich; er tue mit mir, wie es ihm gefällt!

Y si dijere: No me agradas: aquí estoy, haga de mí lo que bien le pareciere.

But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.

but if he says, ‘I have no delight in you,’ behold, here I am. Let him do to me as seems good to him.”

Und der König sprach zum Priester Zadok: Du bist der Seher; kehre in Frieden wieder in die Stadt zurück und mit dir dein Sohn Ahimaaz und Jonatan, der Sohn Abjatars, eure beiden Söhne, mit euch!

Dijo aún el rey á Sadoc sacerdote: ¿No eres tú el vidente? Vuélvete en paz á la ciudad; y con vosotros vuestros dos hijos, tu hijo Ahimaas, y Jonathán hijo de Abiathar.

The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

Siehe, ich will bei den Furten in der Wüste verziehen, bis Botschaft von euch kommt, um mich zu benachrichtigen.

Mirad, yo me detendré en los campos del desierto, hasta que venga respuesta de vosotros que me dé aviso.

See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.

Behold, I will stay at the fords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.”

Also brachten Zadok und Abjatar die Lade Gottes wieder nach Jerusalem zurück und verblieben daselbst.

Entonces Sadoc y Abiathar volvieron el arca de Dios á Jerusalem; y estuviéronse allá.

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.

David aber stieg den Ölberg hinan, barfuß und mit verhülltem Haupt; und er weinte, während er hinaufging; auch alles Volk, das bei ihm war, ein jeder hatte das Haupt verhüllt, und sie weinten im Gehen.

Y David subió la cuesta de las olivas; y subióla llorando, llevando la cabeza cubierta, y los pies descalzos. También todo el pueblo que tenía consigo cubrió cada uno su cabeza, y subieron llorando así como subían.

And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

Und als man David anzeigte, daß Ahitophel mit Absalom verschworen sei, sprach David: HERR, mache doch den Rat Ahitophels zur Torheit!

Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Achitophel está entre los que conspiraron con Absalom. Entonces dijo David: Entontece ahora, oh Jehová, el consejo de Achitophel.

And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

Someone told David, saying, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” David said, “LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.”

Als aber David auf die Höhe kam, wo man Gott anzubeten pflegte, siehe, da begegnete ihm Husai, der Architer, mit zerrissenem Rock und Erde auf seinem Haupt.

Y como David llegó á la cumbre del monte para adorar allí á Dios, he aquí Husai Arachîta que le salió al encuentro, trayendo rota su ropa, y tierra sobre su cabeza.

And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:

When David had come to the top, where God was worshiped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his tunic torn and earth on his head.

Und David sprach zu ihm: Wenn du mit mir gehst, wirst du mir eine Last sein;

Y díjole David: Si pasares conmigo, serme has de carga;

Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me:

David said to him, “If you pass on with me, then you will be a burden to me;

wenn du aber in die Stadt zurückkehrst und zu Absalom sprichst: «Ich will dein Knecht sein, o König; wie ich bisher deines Vaters Knecht war, so will ich nun dein Knecht sein» so kannst du mir den Rat Ahitophels vereiteln!

Mas si volvieres á la ciudad, y dijeres á Absalom: Rey, yo seré tu siervo; como hasta aquí he sido siervo de tu padre, así seré ahora siervo tuyo, entonces tú me disiparás el consejo de Achitophel.

But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father’s servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

but if you return to the city, and tell Absalom, ‘I will be your servant, O king. As I have been your father’s servant in time past, so I will now be your servant; then you will defeat for me the counsel of Ahithophel.’

Sind nicht die Priester Zadok und Abjatar bei dir, also daß du alles, was du aus des Königs Hause vernimmst, den Priestern Zadok und Abjatar anzeigen kannst?

¿No estarán allí contigo Sadoc y Abiathar sacerdotes? Por tanto, todo lo que oyeres en la casa del rey, darás aviso de ello á Sadoc y á Abiathar sacerdotes.

And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king’s house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

Don’t you have Zadok and Abiathar the priests there with you? Therefore whatever you hear out of the king’s house, tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.

Siehe, ihre beiden Söhne sind dort bei ihnen: Ahimaaz, Zadoks, und Jonatan, Abjatars Sohn; durch dieselben könnt ihr mir alles berichten, was ihr vernehmt.

Y he aquí que están con ellos sus dos hijos, Ahimaas el de Sadoc, y Jonathán el de Abiathar: por mano de ellos me enviaréis aviso de todo lo que oyereis.

Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok’s son, and Jonathan Abiathar’s son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear.

So begab sich denn Davids Freund Husai in die Stadt; Absalom aber kam auch nach Jerusalem.

Así se vino Husai amigo de David á la ciudad; y Absalom entró en Jerusalem.

So Hushai David’s friend came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem.

So Hushai, David’s friend, came into the city; and Absalom came into Jerusalem.
