Dijo entonces Absalón, con todos los ancianos de Israel: Mejor es el consejo de Cusai, araquita que el de Aquitofel. Así por disposición del Señor fue disipado el consejo de Aquitofel; que era para ellos el más acertado; porque el Señor quería descargar todo el mal sobre Absalón.
Entonces Absalom y todos los de Israel dijeron: El consejo de Husai Arachîta es mejor que el consejo de Achitophel. Porque había Jehová ordenado que el acertado consejo de Achitophel se frustrara, para que Jehová hiciese venir el mal sobre Absalom.
And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.
