17Or Gionatan ed Ahimaas se ne stavano presso alla fonte di Roghel; e, perciocchè non potevano mostrarsi, nè entrar nella città, una servente andò, e rapportò loro la cosa; ed essi andarono, e la fecero assapere al re Davide.

17Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by En-rogel; for they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went and told them; and they went and told king David.

17Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying by En Rogel; and a female servant used to go and report to them, and they went and told King David; for they couldn’t risk being seen coming into the city.
