et il dit au roi: "Que mon seigneur ne m'impute pas à crime et ne se rappelle plus la mauvaise conduite de ton serviteur, le jour où mon seigneur le roi est sorti de Jérusalem; que le roi ne le prenne pas à cœur!

Porque yo tu siervo conozco haber pecado, y he venido hoy el primero de toda la casa de José, para descender á recibir á mi señor el rey.

For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.

For your servant knows that I have sinned. Therefore behold, I have come today as the first of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.”
