O povo entrou furtivamente na cidade naquele dia, como pessoas que se escondem de vergonha quando fogem da batalha.

Entróse el pueblo aquel día en la ciudad escondidamente, como suele entrar á escondidas el pueblo avergonzado que ha huído de la batalla.

And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.
