2 Samuel 1

siehe, da kam am dritten Tage ein Mann aus dem Heer von Saul mit zerrissenen Kleidern und Erde auf seinem Haupt. Und da er zu David kam, fiel er zur Erde und betete an.

Y ACONTECIÓ después de la muerte de Saúl, que vuelto David de la derrota de los Amalecitas, estuvo dos días en Siclag:

Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

After the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had stayed two days in Ziklag,

David aber sprach zu ihm: Wo kommst du her? Er sprach zu ihm: Aus dem Heer Israels bin ich entronnen.

Y al tercer día acaeció, que vino uno del campo de Saúl, rotos sus vestidos, y tierra sobre su cabeza: y llegando á David, postróse en tierra, é hizo reverencia.

It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.

David sprach zu ihm: Sage mir, wie gehet es zu? Er sprach: Das Volk ist geflohen vom Streit, und ist viel Volks gefallen; dazu ist auch Saul tot und sein Sohn Jonathan.

Y preguntóle David: ¿De dónde vienes? Y él respondió: Heme escapado del campo de Israel.

And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

David said to him, “Where do you come from?” He said to him, “I have escaped out of the camp of Israel.”

David sprach zu dem Jüngling, der ihm solches sagte: Woher weißest du, daß Saul und sein Sohn Jonathan tot sind?

Y David le dijo: ¿Qué ha acontecido? ruégote que me lo digas. Y él respondió: El pueblo huyó de la batalla, y también muchos del pueblo cayeron y son muertos: también Saúl y Jonathán su hijo murieron.

And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

David said to him, “How did it go? Please tell me.” He answered, “The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen and are dead. Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.”

Der Jüngling, der ihm solches sagte, sprach: Ich kam ohngefähr aufs Gebirge Gilboa, und siehe, Saul lehnete sich auf seinen Spieß, und die Wagen und Reiter jagten hinter ihm her.

Y dijo David á aquel mancebo que le daba las nuevas: ¿Cómo sabes que Saúl es muerto, y Jonathán su hijo?

And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?

David said to the young man who told him, “How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?”

Und er wandte sich um und sah mich und rief mir. Und ich sprach: Hie bin ich.

Y el mancebo que le daba las nuevas respondió: Casualmente vine al monte de Gilboa, y hallé á Saúl que estaba recostado sobre su lanza, y venían tras él carros y gente de á caballo.

And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

The young man who told him said, “As I happened by chance on Mount Gilboa, behold, Saul was leaning on his spear; and behold, the chariots and the horsemen followed close behind him.

Und er sprach zu mir: Wer bist du? Ich sprach zu ihm: Ich bin ein Amalekiter.

Y como él miró atrás, vióme y llamóme; y yo dije: Heme aquí.

And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.

When he looked behind him, he saw me and called to me. I answered, ‘Here I am.’

Und er sprach zu mir: Tritt zu mir und töte mich, denn ich bin bedränget umher, und mein Leben ist noch ganz in mir.

Y él me dijo: ¿Quién eres tú? Y yo le respondí: Soy Amalecita.

And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.

He said to me, ‘Who are you?’ I answered him, ‘I am an Amalekite.’

Da trat ich zu ihm und tötete ihn, denn ich wußte wohl, daß er nicht leben konnte nach seinem Fall; und nahm die Krone von seinem Haupt und das Armgeschmeide von seinem Arm und habe es hergebracht zu dir, meinem HERRN.

Y él me volvió á decir: Yo te ruego que te pongas sobre mí, y me mates, porque me toman angustias, y toda mi alma está aún en mí.

He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.

He said to me, ‘Please stand beside me, and kill me, for anguish has taken hold of me because my life lingers in me.’

Da fassete David seine Kleider und zerriß sie, und alle Männer, die bei ihm waren.

Yo entonces púseme sobre él, y matélo, porque sabía que no podía vivir después de su caída: y tomé la corona que tenía en su cabeza, y la ajorca que traía en su brazo, y helas traído acá á mi señor.

So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

So I stood beside him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. I took the crown that was on his head and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my lord.”

Und trugen Leid und weineten und fasteten bis an den Abend über Saul und Jonathan, seinen Sohn, und über das Volk des HERRN und über das Haus Israels, daß sie durchs Schwert gefallen waren.

Entonces David trabando de sus vestidos, rompiólos; y lo mismo hicieron los hombres que estaban con él.

Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:

Und David sprach zu dem Jüngling, der es ihm ansagte: Wo bist du her? Er sprach: Ich bin eines Fremdlings, eines Amalekiters, Sohn.

Y lloraron y lamentaron, y ayunaron hasta la tarde, por Saúl y por Jonathán su hijo, y por el pueblo de Jehová, y por la casa de Israel: porque habían caído á cuchillo.

And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.

David sprach zu ihm: Wie, daß du dich nicht gefürchtet hast, deine Hand zu legen an den Gesalbten des HERRN, ihn zu verderben!

Y David dijo á aquel mancebo que le había traído las nuevas: ¿De dónde eres tú? Y él respondió: Yo soy hijo de un extranjero, Amalecita.

And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

David said to the young man who told him, “Where are you from?” He answered, “I am the son of a foreigner, an Amalekite.”

Und David sprach zu seiner Jünglinge einem: Herzu und schlag ihn! Und er schlug ihn, daß er starb.

Y díjole David: ¿Cómo no tuviste temor de extender tu mano para matar al ungido de Jehová?

And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?

David said to him, “Why were you not afraid to stretch out your hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?”

Da sprach David zu ihm: Dein Blut sei über deinem Kopf; denn dein Mund hat wider dich selbst geredet und gesprochen: Ich habe den Gesalbten des HERRN getötet.

Entonces llamó David uno de los mancebos, y díjole: Llega, y mátalo. Y él lo hirió, y murió.

And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

David called one of the young men and said, “Go near, and cut him down!” He struck him so that he died.

Und David klagte diese Klage über Saul und Jonathan, seinen Sohn.

Y David le dijo: Tu sangre sea sobre tu cabeza, pues que tu boca atestiguó contra ti, diciendo: Yo maté al ungido de Jehová.

And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’s anointed.

David said to him, “Your blood be on your head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have slain the LORD’s anointed.’”

Und befahl, man sollte die Kinder Judas den Bogen lehren. Siehe, es stehet geschrieben im Buch der Redlichen:

Y endechó David á Saúl y á Jonathán su hijo con esta endecha.

And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

Saget es nicht an zu Gath, verkündet es nicht auf der Gasse zu Asklon, daß sich nicht freuen die Töchter der Philister, daß nicht frohlocken die Töchter der Unbeschnittenen.

¡Perecido ha la gloria de Israel sobre tus montañas! ¡Cómo han caído los valientes!

The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

“Your glory, Israel, was slain on your high places! How the mighty have fallen!

Ihr Berge zu Gilboa, es müsse weder tauen noch regnen auf euch, noch Acker sein, da Hebopfer von kommen; denn daselbst ist den Helden ihr Schild abgeschlagen, der Schild Sauls; als wäre er nicht gesalbet mit Öl.

No lo denunciéis en Gath, no deis las nuevas en las plazas de Ascalón; porque no se alegren las hijas de los Filisteos, porque no salten de gozo las hijas de los incircuncisos.

Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

Der Bogen Jonathans hat nie gefehlet, und das Schwert Sauls ist nie leer wiederkommen von dem Blut der Erschlagenen und vom Fett der Helden.

Montes de Gilboa, ni rocío ni lluvia caiga sobre vosotros, ni seáis tierras de ofrendas; porque allí fué desechado el escudo de los valientes, el escudo de Saúl, como si no hubiera sido ungido con aceite.

Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.

You mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew or rain on you, and no fields of offerings; for there the shield of the mighty was defiled and cast away, the shield of Saul was not anointed with oil.

Saul und Jonathan, holdselig und lieblich in ihrem Leben, sind auch im Tode nicht geschieden; leichter denn die Adler und stärker denn die Löwen.

Sin sangre de muertos, sin grosura de valientes, el arco de Jonathán nunca volvió, ni la espada de Saúl se tornó vacía.

From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.

Ihr Töchter Israels, weinet über Saul, der euch kleidete mit Rosinfarbe säuberlich und schmückte euch mit güldenen Kleinoden an euren Kleidern.

Saúl y Jonathán, amados y queridos en su vida, en su muerte tampoco fueron apartados: más ligeros que águilas, más fuertes que leones.

Wie sind die Helden gefallen und die Streitbaren umkommen!

Angustia tengo por ti, hermano mío Jonathán, que me fuiste muy dulce: más maravilloso me fué tu amor, que el amor de las mujeres.

I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan. You have been very pleasant to me. Your love to me was wonderful, surpassing the love of women.

Nach dieser Geschichte fragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hinauf in der Städte Juda eine ziehen? Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zeuch hinauf! David sprach: Wohin? Er sprach: Gen Hebron.

¡Cómo han caído los valientes, y perecieron las armas de guerra!
