2 Samuel 1

Nach Sauls Tode nun, als David von dem Siege über die Amalekiter (nach Ziklag) zurückgekehrt war und zwei Tage in Ziklag zugebracht hatte,

Y ACONTECIÓ después de la muerte de Saúl, que vuelto David de la derrota de los Amalecitas, estuvo dos días en Siclag:

Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

da kam plötzlich am dritten Tage ein Mann aus dem Lager von Saul her mit zerrissenen Kleidern und mit Erde auf dem Haupt; und als er bei David angekommen war, warf er sich vor ihm zur Erde nieder und brachte ihm seine Huldigung dar.

Y al tercer día acaeció, que vino uno del campo de Saúl, rotos sus vestidos, y tierra sobre su cabeza: y llegando á David, postróse en tierra, é hizo reverencia.

It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.

Auf Davids Frage, woher er komme, gab er die Antwort: »Aus dem Lager der Israeliten bin ich entronnen.«

Y preguntóle David: ¿De dónde vienes? Y él respondió: Heme escapado del campo de Israel.

And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

David said to him, “Where do you come from?” He said to him, “I have escaped out of the camp of Israel.”

Als David ihn dann aufforderte: »Erzähle mir doch, wie die Sache sich zugetragen hat!«, berichtete er: »Das Heer ist aus der Schlacht geflohen, und viele von den Leuten sind gefallen und ums Leben gekommen; auch Saul und sein Sohn Jonathan sind tot.«

Y David le dijo: ¿Qué ha acontecido? ruégote que me lo digas. Y él respondió: El pueblo huyó de la batalla, y también muchos del pueblo cayeron y son muertos: también Saúl y Jonathán su hijo murieron.

And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

David said to him, “How did it go? Please tell me.” He answered, “The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen and are dead. Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.”

Als nun David den jungen Mann, der ihm die Meldung brachte, weiter fragte: »Woher weißt du, daß Saul und sein Sohn Jonathan tot sind?«,

Y dijo David á aquel mancebo que le daba las nuevas: ¿Cómo sabes que Saúl es muerto, y Jonathán su hijo?

And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?

David said to the young man who told him, “How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?”

berichtete ihm der junge Mann, der ihm die Meldung brachte: »Ich kam ganz zufällig auf das Gebirge Gilboa; da sah ich plötzlich Saul, der sich auf seinen Speer stützte, während die Wagen und Reiter ihn eingeholt hatten.

Y el mancebo que le daba las nuevas respondió: Casualmente vine al monte de Gilboa, y hallé á Saúl que estaba recostado sobre su lanza, y venían tras él carros y gente de á caballo.

And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

The young man who told him said, “As I happened by chance on Mount Gilboa, behold, Saul was leaning on his spear; and behold, the chariots and the horsemen followed close behind him.

Als er sich nun umwandte und mich erblickte, rief er mich an, und ich antwortete: ›Hier bin ich!‹

Y como él miró atrás, vióme y llamóme; y yo dije: Heme aquí.

And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.

When he looked behind him, he saw me and called to me. I answered, ‘Here I am.’

Er fragte mich dann, wer ich sei, und ich erwiderte ihm: ›Ich bin ein Amalekiter!‹

Y él me dijo: ¿Quién eres tú? Y yo le respondí: Soy Amalecita.

And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.

He said to me, ‘Who are you?’ I answered him, ‘I am an Amalekite.’

Da befahl er mir: ›Tritt her zu mir und töte mich vollends! Denn ein Schwindel hat mich ergriffen, und doch bin ich noch bei vollem Bewußtsein.‹

Y él me volvió á decir: Yo te ruego que te pongas sobre mí, y me mates, porque me toman angustias, y toda mi alma está aún en mí.

He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.

He said to me, ‘Please stand beside me, and kill me, for anguish has taken hold of me because my life lingers in me.’

Da trat ich zu ihm und tötete ihn vollends; denn ich wußte, daß er seinen Fall nicht überleben würde. Dann nahm ich den Stirnreif von seinem Haupt und die Spange, die sich an seinem Arm befand, und überbringe sie hier meinem Herrn.«

Yo entonces púseme sobre él, y matélo, porque sabía que no podía vivir después de su caída: y tomé la corona que tenía en su cabeza, y la ajorca que traía en su brazo, y helas traído acá á mi señor.

So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

So I stood beside him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he had fallen. I took the crown that was on his head and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my lord.”

Da faßte David seine Kleider und zerriß sie; ebenso taten alle Männer, die bei ihm waren;

Entonces David trabando de sus vestidos, rompiólos; y lo mismo hicieron los hombres que estaban con él.

Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:

sie hielten die Totenklage und weinten und fasteten bis zum Abend um Saul und seinen Sohn Jonathan, um das Volk des HERRN und um das Haus Israel, weil sie durch das Schwert gefallen waren.

Y lloraron y lamentaron, y ayunaron hasta la tarde, por Saúl y por Jonathán su hijo, y por el pueblo de Jehová, y por la casa de Israel: porque habían caído á cuchillo.

And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.

Hierauf fragte David den jungen Mann, der ihm die Meldung gebracht hatte: »Woher bist du?« Er antwortete: »Ich bin der Sohn eines amalekitischen Fremdlings.«

Y David dijo á aquel mancebo que le había traído las nuevas: ¿De dónde eres tú? Y él respondió: Yo soy hijo de un extranjero, Amalecita.

And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

David said to the young man who told him, “Where are you from?” He answered, “I am the son of a foreigner, an Amalekite.”

Da rief David aus: »Wie? Du hast dich nicht gescheut, deine Hand zu erheben, um dem Gesalbten des HERRN das Leben zu nehmen?!«

Y díjole David: ¿Cómo no tuviste temor de extender tu mano para matar al ungido de Jehová?

And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?

David said to him, “Why were you not afraid to stretch out your hand to destroy the LORD’s anointed?”

Hierauf rief David einen von seinen Leuten herbei und befahl ihm: »Tritt herzu! Stoß ihn nieder!« Der hieb ihn nieder, daß er starb,

Entonces llamó David uno de los mancebos, y díjole: Llega, y mátalo. Y él lo hirió, y murió.

And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

David called one of the young men and said, “Go near, and cut him down!” He struck him so that he died.

während David ihm noch zurief: »Dein Blut komme über dein Haupt! Denn dein eigener Mund hat Zeugnis gegen dich abgelegt durch dein Bekenntnis: ›Ich habe den Gesalbten des HERRN getötet.‹«

Y David le dijo: Tu sangre sea sobre tu cabeza, pues que tu boca atestiguó contra ti, diciendo: Yo maté al ungido de Jehová.

And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’s anointed.

David said to him, “Your blood be on your head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have slain the LORD’s anointed.’”

David stimmte dann folgendes Klagelied auf Saul und dessen Sohn Jonathan an

Y endechó David á Saúl y á Jonathán su hijo con esta endecha.

And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

und befahl, man solle es †das Bogenlied die Söhne Judas lehren; es steht bekanntlich aufgezeichnet im ›Buch des Braven‹:

(Dijo también que enseñasen al arco á los hijos de Judá. He aquí que está escrito en el libro del derecho:)

(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

(and he commanded them to teach the children of Judah the song of the bow; behold, it is written in the book of Jashar):

Ach, (deine) Zier, o Israel, liegt erschlagen auf deinen Höhen wie sind die Helden gefallen!

¡Perecido ha la gloria de Israel sobre tus montañas! ¡Cómo han caído los valientes!

The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

“Your glory, Israel, was slain on your high places! How the mighty have fallen!

Verkündet es nicht zu Gath, meldet es nicht auf Askalons Straßen, damit die Töchter der Philister sich nicht freun, die Töchter der Heiden nicht jubeln!

No lo denunciéis en Gath, no deis las nuevas en las plazas de Ascalón; porque no se alegren las hijas de los Filisteos, porque no salten de gozo las hijas de los incircuncisos.

Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

Ihr Berge Gilboas, kein Tau, kein Regen müsse noch auf euch fallen, kein Gefilde auf euch sein, von dem Erstlingsgaben kommen! Denn dort liegt der Schild der Helden weggeworfen, der Schild Sauls, den kein Öl mehr salben wird.

Montes de Gilboa, ni rocío ni lluvia caiga sobre vosotros, ni seáis tierras de ofrendas; porque allí fué desechado el escudo de los valientes, el escudo de Saúl, como si no hubiera sido ungido con aceite.

Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.

You mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew or rain on you, and no fields of offerings; for there the shield of the mighty was defiled and cast away, the shield of Saul was not anointed with oil.

Ohne Blut der Durchbohrten, ohne Fett der Helden ist Jonathans Bogen nie zurückgekommen und Sauls Schwert nie ohne Beute heimgekehrt.

Sin sangre de muertos, sin grosura de valientes, el arco de Jonathán nunca volvió, ni la espada de Saúl se tornó vacía.

From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.

Saul und Jonathan, die Geliebten und Holden, im Leben und auch im Tod sind vereint sie geblieben; sie waren schneller als Adler, stärker als Löwen!

Wie sind die Helden gefallen mitten im Kampf! Jonathan liegt durchbohrt auf deinen Höhen!

¡Cómo han caído los valientes en medio de la batalla! ¡Jonathán, muerto en tus alturas!

How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.

Wie ist mir leid um dich, mein Bruder Jonathan, wie warst du mir so lieb! Beseligend war mir deine Liebe, mehr als Frauenliebe!

Angustia tengo por ti, hermano mío Jonathán, que me fuiste muy dulce: más maravilloso me fué tu amor, que el amor de las mujeres.

I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

Ach, wie sind die Helden gefallen, vernichtet die Rüstzeuge des Kampfes!
