Alors, elle dit : Il y avait un proverbe chez nos pères ; lorsque parmi les fidèles d'Israël, un de leurs desseins venait à manquer, on disait : Il faut consulter et consulter à Abel ou à Dan. Maintenant tes hommes consultent et consultent en Abel, après avoir, eux aussi, défailli.

Entonces tornó ella á hablar, diciendo: Antiguamente solían hablar, diciendo: Quien preguntare, pregunte en Abel: y así concluían.

Then she spake, saying, They were wont to speak in old time, saying, They shall surely ask counsel at Abel: and so they ended the matter.

Then she spoke, saying, “They used to say in old times, ‘They shall surely ask counsel at Abel,’ and so they settled a matter.
