3Y vino David a su casa en Jerusalén; y el rey llevó a las diez concubinas a quienes había dejado el cuidado de la casa, las encerró bajo custodia y les dio las necesidades de la vida, pero no volvió a tener relaciones con ellas. Así que fueron encerradas hasta el día de su muerte, viviendo como viudas.

3Y luego que llegó David á su casa en Jerusalem, tomó el rey las diez mujeres concubinas que había dejado para guardar la casa, y púsolas en una casa en guarda, y dióles de comer: pero nunca más entró á ellas, sino que quedaron encerradas hasta que murieron en viudez de por vida.

3And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.
