10Ritspa, figliuola di Aiah, prese un cilicio, se lo stese sulla roccia, e stette là dal principio della mèsse fino a che l’acqua non cadde dal cielo sui cadaveri; e impedì agli uccelli del cielo di posarsi su di essi di giorno, e alle fiere dei campi d’accostarsi di notte.

10And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.
