12fue y reclamó los huesos de Saúl y de su hijo Jonatán a los hombres de Jabes de Galaad. Ellos los habían recuperado de la plaza de Bet-sán, donde los filisteos los habían colgado el día que mataron a Saúl en Gilboa.

12Entonces David fué, y tomó los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonathán su hijo, de los hombres de Jabes de Galaad, que los habían hurtado de la plaza de Beth-san, donde los habían colgado los Filisteos, cuando deshicieron los Filisteos á Saúl en Gilboa:
