2 Samuel 21

No tempo do reinado de Davi, houve fome por três anos consecutivos, e Davi buscou a face de Yahweh. Então, Yahweh disse: "Essa fome está sobre vós por causa de Saul e sua família assassina, que matou os gibeonitas".

Y EN los días de David hubo hambre por tres años consecutivos. Y David consultó á Jehová, y Jehová le dijo: Es por Saúl, y por aquella casa de sangre; porque mató á los Gabaonitas.

Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.

There was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the face of the LORD. The LORD said, “It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”

Os gibeonitas não pertenciam ao povo de Israel, eles eram remanescentes dos amorreus. O povo de Israel jurou não matá-los, mas, mesmo assim, Saul, em seu zelo pelo povo de Israel e Judá, tentou matar todos.

Entonces el rey llamó á los Gabaonitas, y hablóles. (Los Gabaonitas no eran de los hijos de Israel, sino del residuo de los Amorrheos, á los cuales los hijos de Israel habían hecho juramento: mas Saúl había procurado matarlos con motivo de celo por los hijos de Israel y de Judá.)

And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.)

Então, o rei Davi reuniu os gibeonitas e disse-lhes: "O que eu posso fazer por vós? Como posso fazer expiação, para que abençoeis o povo de Yahweh, que herda Sua bondade e promessas?".

Dijo pues David á los Gabaonitas: ¿Qué os haré, y con qué expiaré para que bendigáis á la heredad de Jehová?

Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

and David said to the Gibeonites, “What should I do for you? And with what should I make atonement, that you may bless the LORD’s inheritance?”

Os gibeonitas responderam: "Não se trata de prata ou ouro entre nós e Saul ou sua família. E não compete a nós matar ninguém em Israel". Davi respondeu: "O que quereis que vos faça?".

Y los Gabaonitas le respondieron: No tenemos nosotros querella sobre plata ni sobre oro con Saúl y con su casa: ni queremos que muera hombre de Israel. Y él les dijo: Lo que vosotros dijereis os haré.

And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.

The Gibeonites said to him, “It is no matter of silver or gold between us and Saul or his house; neither is it for us to put any man to death in Israel.” He said, “I will do for you whatever you say.”

Eles responderam ao rei: "O homem que tentou nos matar, que planejou contra nós para que fôssemos destruídos e ficássemos sem lugar dentro das fronteiras de Israel,

And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,

deixa que sete homens de seus descendentes nos sejam entregues, e os enforcaremos diante de Yahweh, em Gibeá de Saul, o escolhido de Yahweh". Então, o rei disse: "Eu os entregarei a vós".

Dénsenos siete varones de sus hijos, para que los ahorquemos á Jehová en Gabaa de Saúl, el escogido de Jehová. Y el rey dijo: Yo los daré.

Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.

Mas o rei poupou Mefibosete, filho de Jônatas, filho de Saul, por causa do juramento, feito perante Yahweh, entre Davi e Jônatas, filho de Saul.

Y perdonó el rey á Mephi-boseth, hijo de Jonathán, hijo de Saúl, por el juramento de Jehová que hubo entre ellos, entre David y Jonathán hijo de Saúl.

Assim, o rei tomou os dois filhos de Rispa, filha de Aías, filhos que ela concebeu de Saul — os nomes dos dois filhos eram Armoni e Mefibosete; e Davi também pegou os cinco filhos de Mical, filha de Saul, que ela tivera com Adriel, filho de Barzilai, o meolatita.

Mas tomó el rey dos hijos de Rispa hija de Aja, los cuales ella había parido á Saúl, á saber, á Armoni y á Mephi-boseth; y cinco hijos de Michâl hija de Saúl, los cuales ella había parido á Adriel, hijo de Barzillai Molathita;

But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:

O rei os entregou nas mãos dos gibeonitas e eles os enforcaram no monte, diante de Yahweh, e todos os sete morreram juntos. Eles foram mortos durante a época da colheita, nos primeiros dias do início da colheita da cevada.

And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.

Então, Rispa, filha de Aías, pegou um pano de saco e o estendeu para si sobre o monte ao lado dos corpos, desde o início da colheita, até que a chuva caiu sobre os corpos. Ela não permitiu que as aves do céu se aproximassem dos corpos durante o dia, nem animais selvagens à noite.

Tomando luego Rispa hija de Aja un saco, tendióselo sobre un peñasco, desde el principio de la siega hasta que llovió sobre ellos agua del cielo; y no dejó á ninguna ave del cielo asentarse sobre ellos de día, ni bestias del campo de noche.

And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.

Então, Davi tomou os ossos de Saul e os de seu filho Jônatas. Davi os tomou dos homens de Jabes Gileade que os havia furtado da praça de Bete-Seã, onde os filisteus haviam pendurado seus corpos, após os filisteus terem matado Saul, em Gilboa.

Entonces David fué, y tomó los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonathán su hijo, de los hombres de Jabes de Galaad, que los habían hurtado de la plaza de Beth-san, donde los habían colgado los Filisteos, cuando deshicieron los Filisteos á Saúl en Gilboa:

And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh-gilead, which had stolen them from the street of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:

So David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh Gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hanged them in the day that the Philistines killed Saul in Gilboa;

Davi levou dali os ossos de Saul e os ossos de seu filho Jônatas, e também juntaram os ossos dos sete homens que foram enforcados.

And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.

Eles enterraram os ossos de Saul e de seu filho Jônatas na terra de Benjamim, em Zela, na sepultura de Quis, seu pai. Eles fizeram tudo que o rei ordenou. Depois disso, Deus respondeu suas orações em favor da terra.

And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the sepulchre of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was intreated for the land.

Os filisteus foram à guerra outra vez contra Israel. Davi foi com o seu exército e lutou contra os filisteus. Davi ficou cansado pela fadiga da batalha.

Y como los Filisteos tornaron á hacer guerra á Israel, descendió David y sus siervos con él, y pelearon con los Filisteos: y David se cansó.

Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.

Isbi-Benobe, um descendente de gigantes, tinha uma lança que pesava trezentos ciclos de bronze; ele estava armado com uma espada nova e tentou matar Davi.

En esto Isbi-benob, el cual era de los hijos del gigante, y el peso de cuya lanza era de trescientos siclos de metal, y tenía él ceñida una nueva espada, trató de herir á David:

And Ishbi-benob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David.

and Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear was three hundred shekels of bronze in weight, he being armed with a new sword, thought he would kill David.

Mas Abisai, filho de Zeruia, socorreu Davi, atacou o filisteu e o matou. Então, os homens de Davi juraram para ele, dizendo: "Nunca mais sairás à batalha conosco, para que tu não apagues a lâmpada de Israel".

Mas Abisai hijo de Sarvia le socorrió, é hirió al Filisteo, y matólo. Entonces los hombres de David le juraron, diciendo: Nunca más de aquí adelante saldrás con nosotros á batalla, porque no apagues la lámpara de Israel.

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel.

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, “Don’t go out with us to battle any more, so that you don’t quench the lamp of Israel.”

Depois disso, houve outra batalha contra os filisteus, em Gobe, quando Sibecai, o husatita, matou Safe, que era um dos descendentes de Refaim.

And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.

Otra guerra hubo en Gob contra los Filisteos, en la cual Elhanan, hijo de Jaare-oregim de Beth-lehem, hirió á Goliath Getheo, el asta de cuya lanza era como un enjullo de telar.

And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Beth-lehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

There was again war with the Philistines at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-Oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite’s brother, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

Houve mais outra batalha em Gate, onde estava um homem de grande estatura que tinha seis dedos em cada mão e seis dedos em cada pé: vinte e quatro ao todo. Ele também era descendente de Refaim.

Quando ele desafiou Israel, Jônatas, filho de Simei, irmão de Davi, o matou.

And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him.

Esses eram descendentes de Refaim, de Gate, e eles foram mortos pelas mãos de Davi e pelas mãos de seus soldados.

Estos cuatro le habían nacido al gigante en Gath, los cuales cayeron por la mano de David, y por la mano de sus siervos.
