Davi falou ao SENHOR as palavras deste cântico no dia em que o SENHOR o livrou das mãos de todos os seus inimigos e das mãos de Saul,
Y HABLÓ David á Jehová las palabras de este cántico, el día que Jehová le había librado de la mano de todos sus enemigos, y de la mano de Saúl.
And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

e ele disse: “O SENHOR é a minha rocha, a minha fortaleza, e o meu libertador, sim, o meu;
Y dijo: Jehová es mi roca, y mi fortaleza, y mi libertador;
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
and he said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
Deus é a minha rocha, em quem me refugio; o meu escudo e o poder da minha salvação, a minha torre alta e o meu refúgio. Meu salvador, tu me salvas da violência.
Dios de mi roca, en él confiaré: mi escudo, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi fortaleza, y mi refugio; mi salvador, que me librarás de violencia.
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
God is my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence.
Invoco o SENHOR, que é digno de ser louvado; e assim serei salvo dos meus inimigos.

Pois as ondas da morte me cercaram. As torrentes da impiedade me aterrorizaram.

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
For the waves of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
As cordas do Seol me envolveram. As armadilhas da morte me confrontaram.
Me rodearon los dolores del infierno, y me tomaron descuidado lazos de muerte.
The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death caught me.
Na minha angústia, clamei ao SENHOR. Sim, clamei ao meu Deus. Do seu templo ele ouviu a minha voz. O meu clamor chegou aos seus ouvidos.
Tuve angustia, invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: y él oyó mi voz desde su templo; llegó mi clamor á sus oídos.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
In my distress, I called on the LORD. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.
Então a terra se abalou e tremeu. Os fundamentos dos céus se moveram e foram abalados, porque ele estava irado.

Ele também curvou os céus e desceu. Densas trevas estavam debaixo dos seus pés.
Y abajó los cielos, y descendió: una oscuridad debajo de sus pies.

Ele fez das trevas um abrigo ao seu redor, ajuntamento de águas e densas nuvens dos céus.
Puso tinieblas alrededor de sí á modo de pabellones; aguas negras y espesas nubes.
And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

Do resplendor diante dele, brasas de fogo se acenderaram.
Del resplandor de su presencia se encendieron ascuas ardientes.

O SENHOR trovejou dos céus. O Altíssimo levantou a sua voz.
Jehová tronó desde los cielos, y el Altísimo dió su voz;

Ele lançou flechas e os espalhou, raios, e os confundiu.
Arrojó saetas, y desbaratólos; relampagueó, y consumiólos.

Então apareceram os canais do mar. Os fundamentos do mundo foram postos a descoberto pela repreensão do SENHOR, pelo sopro do alento das suas narinas.
Entonces aparecieron los manantiales de la mar, y los fundamentos del mundo fueron descubiertos, á la reprensión de Jehová, al resoplido del aliento de su nariz.
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

Do alto ele estendeu a mão e me segurou. Ele me tirou das águas profundas.
Extendió su mano de lo alto, y arrebatóme, y sacóme de copiosas aguas.
He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.
Ele me livrou do meu forte inimigo, daqueles que me odiavam, pois eram fortes demais para mim.
Libróme de fuertes enemigos, de aquellos que me aborrecían, los cuales eran más fuertes que yo.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Eles me enfrentaram no dia da minha calamidade, mas o SENHOR foi o meu amparo.
Asaltáronme en el día de mi calamidad; mas Jehová fué mi sostén.
They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

Ele também me levou para um lugar espaçoso. Ele me livrou, porque se agradou de mim.

O SENHOR me recompensou segundo a minha retidão. Ele me recompensou segundo a pureza das minhas mãos.

Pois tenho guardado os caminhos do SENHOR, e não me afastei perversamente do meu Deus.

Pois todas as suas ordenanças estavam diante de mim. Quanto aos seus estatutos, não me desviei deles.

Também fui íntegro para com ele. Guardei-me da minha iniquidade.

Portanto, o SENHOR me recompensou segundo a minha retidão, Segundo a minha pureza aos seus olhos.
Remuneróme por tanto Jehová conforme á mi justicia, y conforme á mi limpieza delante de sus ojos.
Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

Para com o misericordioso tu te mostras misericordioso. Para com o homem íntegro tu te mostras íntegro.
Con el bueno eres benigno, y con el íntegro te muestras íntegro;
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man you will show yourself perfect.
Para com o puro tu te mostras puro. Para com o perverso tu te mostras astuto.
Limpio eres para con el limpio, mas con el perverso eres rígido.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
Tu salvarás o povo aflito, mas os teus olhos estão sobre os arrogantes, para que os humilhes.
Y tú salvas al pueblo humilde; mas tus ojos sobre los altivos, para abatirlos.
And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
You will save the afflicted people, but your eyes are on the arrogant, that you may bring them down.
Pois tu és a minha lâmpada, SENHOR. O SENHOR iluminará as minhas trevas.
Porque tú eres mi lámpara, oh Jehová: Jehová da luz á mis tinieblas.
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
For you are my lamp, LORD. The LORD will light up my darkness.
Pois contigo eu ataco uma tropa. Com o meu Deus, salto uma muralha.
Porque en ti romperé ejércitos, y con mi Dios saltaré las murallas.
For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
Quanto a Deus, o seu caminho é perfeito. A palavra do SENHOR é provada. Ele é um escudo para todos os que nele se refugiam.
Dios, perfecto su camino: la palabra de Jehová purificada, escudo es de todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
Pois quem é Deus, além do SENHOR? Quem é a rocha, além do nosso Deus?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay sino Jehová? ¿ó quién es fuerte sino nuestro Dios?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
For who is God, besides the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God?
Deus é a minha forte fortaleza. Ele torna perfeito o meu caminho.
Dios es el que con virtud me corrobora, y el que despeja mi camino;
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.
Ele faz os seus pés como os das corças, e me firma nos meus lugares altos.
El que hace mis pies como de ciervas, y el que me asienta en mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
Ele treina as minhas mãos para a guerra, de modo que os meus braços envergam um arco de bronze.
El que enseña mis manos para la pelea, y da que con mis brazos quiebre el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
Tu também me deste o escudo da tua salvação. A tua bondade me engrandeceu.
Tú me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salud, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.
Alargaste os meus passos debaixo de mim. Os meus pés não vacilaram.
Tú ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, para que no titubeasen mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
Persegui os meus inimigos e os destruí. Não voltei até que fossem consumidos.
Perseguiré á mis enemigos, y quebrantarélos; y no me volveré hasta que los acabe.
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them. I didn’t turn again until they were consumed.
Eu os consumi, e os atravessei, de modo que não podem se levantar. Sim, eles caíram debaixo dos meus pés.
Los consumiré, y los heriré, y no se levantarán; y caerán debajo de mis pies.
And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
I have consumed them, and struck them through, so that they can’t arise. Yes, they have fallen under my feet.
Pois tu me armaste de força para a batalha. Subjugaste debaixo de mim aqueles que se levantaram contra mim.
Ceñísteme de fortaleza para la batalla, y postraste debajo de mí los que contra mí se levantaron.
For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Tu também fizeste os meus inimigos me darem as costas, para que eu destruísse os que me odeiam.
Tú me diste la cerviz de mis enemigos, de mis aborrecedores, y que yo los destruyese.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
Eles olharam, mas não havia quem os salvasse; até mesmo para o SENHOR, mas ele não lhes respondeu.
Miraron, y no hubo quien los librase; á Jehová, mas no les respondió.
They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Então eu os esmaguei como o pó da terra. Eu os pisei como a lama das ruas, e os espalhei.

Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

Tu também me livraste das contendas do meu povo. Tu me guardaste para ser o cabeça das nações. Um povo que eu não conhecia me servirá.
Tú me libraste de contiendas de pueblos: tú me guardaste para que fuese cabeza de gentes: pueblos que no conocía, me sirvieron.
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
Os estrangeiros se submeterão a mim. Assim que ouvirem a meu respeito, eles me obedecerão.
Los extraños titubeaban á mí: en oyendo, me obedecían.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
Os estrangeiros definharão, e sairão tremendo dos seus esconderijos.
Los extraños desfallecían, y temblaban en sus escondrijos.
Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.
O SENHOR vive! Bendita seja a minha rocha! Exaltado seja Deus, a rocha da minha salvação,
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; sea ensalzado el Dios, la roca de mi salvamento:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
o próprio Deus que executa vingança por mim, que sujeita os povos debaixo de mim,
El Dios que me ha vengado, y sujeta los pueblos debajo de mí;
It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
que me livra dos meus inimigos. Sim, tu me exaltas acima daqueles que se levantam contra mim. Tu me livras do homem violento.
Y que me saca de entre mis enemigos: tú me sacaste en alto de entre los que se levantaron contra mí: librásteme del varón de iniquidades.
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
Portanto, eu te renderei graças, ó SENHOR, entre as nações, e cantarei louvores ao teu nome.
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
Ele dá grandes livramentos ao seu rei, e mostra amor leal ao seu ungido, a Davi e à sua descendência, para todo o sempre.”
El que engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David, y á su simiente, para siempre.
He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”
