Y HABLÓ David á Jehová las palabras de este cántico, el día que Jehová le había librado de la mano de todos sus enemigos, y de la mano de Saúl.

Orou Davi dizendo: "Yahweh é meu rochedo, minha fortaleza e meu libertador.
Y dijo: Jehová es mi roca, y mi fortaleza, y mi libertador;
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
and he said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
Deus é minha rocha; Nele eu me refugio. Ele é meu escudo e a força da minha salvação, minha fortaleza e meu refúgio, Aquele que me livra da violência.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

Os cordões do Sheol me cercaram; as armadilhas de morte me prenderam.

The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;

Na minha angústia, clamei a Yahweh; clamei ao meu Deus e, do Seu Templo, Ele ouviu a minha voz, e meu clamor por socorro subiu até os Seus ouvidos.
Tuve angustia, invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: y él oyó mi voz desde su templo; llegó mi clamor á sus oídos.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

Então, a terra sacudiu e tremeu. Os fundamentos dos céus tremeram e foram abalados, porque Deus estava irado.

Das alturas, estendeu Sua mão e me segurou! Ele me tirou das águas profundas.

Ele me resgatou do meu inimigo poderoso, daqueles que me odiavam, pois eles eram demasiadamente fortes para mim.

Eu fui inocente diante Dele e tenho me afastado do pecado.

Por isto, Yahweh me restaurou segundo a minha justiça, segundo a minha pureza de coração diante dos Seus olhos.

Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

Ao fiel, Tu te mostras fiel; ao homem íntegro, Tu te mostras íntegro.
Con el bueno eres benigno, y con el íntegro te muestras íntegro;

Com o puro de coração, Tu te mostras puro; porém, Tu te mostras implacável com o perverso.

Tu livras o aflito, mas os Teus olhos estão contra o soberbo para humilhá-lo.

Pois Tu, Yahweh, és minha lâmpada. Yahweh ilumina minha escuridão.
Porque tú eres mi lámpara, oh Jehová: Jehová da luz á mis tinieblas.
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

Pois Contigo, eu posso pular uma barreira; com meu Deus, eu posso saltar uma muralha.
Porque en ti romperé ejércitos, y con mi Dios saltaré las murallas.
For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Quanto a Deus, Seu caminho é perfeito. A palavra de Yahweh é pura. Ele é escudo para todos os que Nele se refugiam.
Dios, perfecto su camino: la palabra de Jehová purificada, escudo es de todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
Pois quem é Deus senão Yahweh? E quem é rocha senão nosso Deus?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay sino Jehová? ¿ó quién es fuerte sino nuestro Dios?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

Deus é o meu refúgio e Ele conduz o justo no Seu caminho.
Dios es el que con virtud me corrobora, y el que despeja mi camino;
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

Ele faz meus pés velozes como os da corça e me põe sobre as montanhas.
El que hace mis pies como de ciervas, y el que me asienta en mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

Ele treina minhas mãos para a guerra e meus braços para vergar um arco de bronze.

He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

Tu me deste o escudo da Tua salvação, e o Teu favor me fez grande.
Tú me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salud, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.

Tu fizeste um amplo lugar debaixo dos meus pés, para que eles não escorreguem.
Tú ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, para que no titubeasen mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

Eu persegui meus inimigos e os destruí. Não recuei até que eles foram derrotados.
Perseguiré á mis enemigos, y quebrantarélos; y no me volveré hasta que los acabe.
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

Tu me deste o pescoço dos meus inimigos; eu aniquilei os que me odeiam.
Tú me diste la cerviz de mis enemigos, de mis aborrecedores, y que yo los destruyese.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

Tu também me resgataste das contendas do meu próprio povo. Tu tens me mantido por cabeça das nações. Um povo que não conheci, me serve.
Tú me libraste de contiendas de pueblos: tú me guardaste para que fuese cabeza de gentes: pueblos que no conocía, me sirvieron.
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
Estrangeiros foram obrigados a me reverenciar. Tão logo eles ouviram a meu respeito, me obedeceram.
Los extraños titubeaban á mí: en oyendo, me obedecían.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
Os estrangeiros saíram tremendo de suas fortalezas.
Los extraños desfallecían, y temblaban en sus escondrijos.
Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.

Yahweh vive! Seja exaltada a minha Rocha! Seja Deus exaltado, a Rocha da minha salvação!
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; sea ensalzado el Dios, la roca de mi salvamento:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

Este é o Deus que executa vingança em meu favor; Aquele que sujeita povos a mim.
El Dios que me ha vengado, y sujeta los pueblos debajo de mí;
It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
Ele me liberta dos meus inimigos. Na verdade, Tu me ergueste acima daqueles que se levantaram contra mim. Tu me resgatas do homem violento.
Y que me saca de entre mis enemigos: tú me sacaste en alto de entre los que se levantaron contra mí: librásteme del varón de iniquidades.
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Por isso, eu Te darei graças, ó Yahweh, entre as nações; cantarei louvores ao Teu nome.
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

Deus concede grande vitória ao Seu rei, e Ele revela Sua aliança de lealdade ao Seu ungido, a Davi e aos seus descendentes, para sempre".
El que engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David, y á su simiente, para siempre.
He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”
