Cantó David asimismo al Señor las palabras de este cántico el día en que le hubo librado el Señor de las manos de todos sus enemigos y de la persecución de Saúl.
Y HABLÓ David á Jehová las palabras de este cántico, el día que Jehová le había librado de la mano de todos sus enemigos, y de la mano de Saúl.
And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

Y dijo: El Señor es el baluarte mío y mi fortaleza, y él es mi salvador .
Y dijo: Jehová es mi roca, y mi fortaleza, y mi libertador;
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
and he said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
Dios es mi defensa, en él esperaré; es mi escudo y el apoyo de mi salvación; él es el que me ensalza sobre mis enemigos, y él es mi amparo. Sí, Salvador mío, tú me librarás de toda violencia o iniquidad.
Dios de mi roca, en él confiaré: mi escudo, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi fortaleza, y mi refugio; mi salvador, que me librarás de violencia.
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
God is my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge. My savior, you save me from violence.
Invocaré al Señor, a quien se debe toda alabanza, y seré salvo de mis enemigos.

Porque yo me vi rodeado de mortales congojas; y acometido de una furiosa multitud de gente inicua, que me llenó de espanto.
Cuando me cercaron ondas de muerte, y arroyos de iniquidad me asombraron,
When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
For the waves of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
Con las fajas mortuorias estuve ya atado, y me hallé cogido en los lazos de la muerte.
Me rodearon los dolores del infierno, y me tomaron descuidado lazos de muerte.
The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death caught me.
En mi tribulación invocaré al Señor y aclamaré a mi Dios; y él desde su templo oirá mi voz, y llegarán a sus oídos mis clamores.
Tuve angustia, invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: y él oyó mi voz desde su templo; llegó mi clamor á sus oídos.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
In my distress, I called on the LORD. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.
Se conmovió y se estremeció la tierra; se agitaron los cimientos de los montes, y se hicieron pedazos, porque el Señor se mostró con ellos enojado.
La tierra se removió, y tembló; los fundamentos de los cielos fueron movidos, y se estremecieron, porque él se airó.
Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

El humo de sus narices, o su enojo, se levantó en alto; y despedía de su boca fuego devorador, que convirtió en brasas los carbones.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Abajó o hizo inclinar los cielos, y descendió, teniendo una densa niebla debajo de sus pies.

Puso las tinieblas alrededor de sí para ocultarse; zarandeó las aguas de las nubes del cielo.

And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

Los rayos refulgentes de su presencia encendieron cual fuego ascuas ardientes.

Tronará el Señor desde lo alto del cielo; el Altísimo hará resonar su voz.
Jehová tronó desde los cielos, y el Altísimo dió su voz;

Arrojó centellas contra mis enemigos, y los disipó; rayos, y los destruyó.

Quedaron entonces patentes los abismos del mar, y descubiertos los cimientos de la tierra a las amenazas del Señor, y al resuello impetuoso de su furor.
Entonces aparecieron los manantiales de la mar, y los fundamentos del mundo fueron descubiertos, á la reprensión de Jehová, al resoplido del aliento de su nariz.
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

Extendió su mano desde el cielo, y me cogió; y de entre olas inmensas me sacó a salvo.
Extendió su mano de lo alto, y arrebatóme, y sacóme de copiosas aguas.
He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;

Me libró de mi poderosísimo enemigo, y de los que me aborrecían; los cuales eran más fuertes que yo.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Y me anticipó su socorro el día de la tribulación; y ha sido siempre el Señor mi firme apoyo.
Asaltáronme en el día de mi calamidad; mas Jehová fué mi sostén.

Me sacó fuera a un sitio espacioso, y me puso en plena libertad, porque fui grato a sus ojos.

El Señor me recompensará según mi justicia; y me tratará según la pureza de mis manos.

Pues yo seguí atentamente las sendas del Señor; y no me separé de mi Dios con hechos impíos;
Porque yo guardé los caminos de Jehová, y no me aparté impíamente de mi Dios.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

como que siempre tengo delante de mis ojos todas sus leyes, y no soy rebelde a sus preceptos.
Porque delante de mí tengo todas sus ordenanzas; y atento á sus fueros, no me retiraré de ellos.
For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.

Con seguir a Dios seré un varón perfecto, y me guardaré de ir en pos de mi iniquidad.
Y fuí íntegro para con él, y guardéme de mi iniquidad.
I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.

El Señor me dará la recompensa conforme a mi justicia, y según la pureza de mis manos delante de sus ojos.
Remuneróme por tanto Jehová conforme á mi justicia, y conforme á mi limpieza delante de sus ojos.
Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
Therefore the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyesight.
Con los santos, tú, oh Dios, te mostrarás santo; y perfecto con los perfectos;
Con el bueno eres benigno, y con el íntegro te muestras íntegro;
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man you will show yourself perfect.
serás fuerte con los fuertes; y al perverso le tratarás como a tal.
Limpio eres para con el limpio, mas con el perverso eres rígido.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
Tú salvarás al pueblo humilde; y con una mirada abatirás a los erguidos.
Y tú salvas al pueblo humilde; mas tus ojos sobre los altivos, para abatirlos.
And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
You will save the afflicted people, but your eyes are on the arrogant, that you may bring them down.
Tú eres, Señor, mi antorcha; y tú alumbrarás, oh Señor, mis tinieblas.
Porque tú eres mi lámpara, oh Jehová: Jehová da luz á mis tinieblas.
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
For you are my lamp, LORD. The LORD will light up my darkness.
Contigo correré armado a destrozar al enemigo; yendo con mi Dios no habrá muro que yo no salte.
Porque en ti romperé ejércitos, y con mi Dios saltaré las murallas.
For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
La senda de Dios es inmaculada; y como acrisolada al fuego la palabra del Señor; escudo es de todos los que en él esperan.
Dios, perfecto su camino: la palabra de Jehová purificada, escudo es de todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
¿Quién es Dios fuera del Señor? ¿Y quién es fuerte sino nuestro Dios?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay sino Jehová? ¿ó quién es fuerte sino nuestro Dios?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
For who is God, besides the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God?
Dios es el que me revistió de fortaleza, y allanó perfectamente mi camino.
Dios es el que con virtud me corrobora, y el que despeja mi camino;
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.
Hizo mis pies tan ligeros como los de los ciervos; y al fin me colocó en el lugar elevado en que me hallo.
El que hace mis pies como de ciervas, y el que me asienta en mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
El es el que adiestra mis manos para la batalla, y hace mis brazos firmes como un arco de bronce.
El que enseña mis manos para la pelea, y da que con mis brazos quiebre el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
Tú me has cubierto, Señor, con el escudo de tu protección, y tu benignidad me ha engrandecido.
Tú me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salud, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.
Tú ensanchaste el camino debajo de mis pies, y no desfallecerán jamás mis plantas.
Tú ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, para que no titubeasen mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
Perseguiré a mis enemigos, y los exterminaré; no volveré atrás hasta acabar con ellos.
Perseguiré á mis enemigos, y quebrantarélos; y no me volveré hasta que los acabe.
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

Los consumiré y haré añicos, de suerte que no puedan ya reponerse. Caerán todos bajo mis pies.

Porque me ceñiste, Señor, de fortaleza para la batalla, y derribaste a mis plantas a cuantos se alzaron contra mí.
Ceñísteme de fortaleza para la batalla, y postraste debajo de mí los que contra mí se levantaron.
For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Hiciste que volvieran las espaldas mis enemigos y aborrecedores; yo daré cabo de ellos.
Tú me diste la cerviz de mis enemigos, de mis aborrecedores, y que yo los destruyese.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
Por más que griten nadie acudirá a su socorro; clamarán al Señor, mas no los escuchará.
Miraron, y no hubo quien los librase; á Jehová, mas no les respondió.

Los disiparé como polvo de la tierra; los aplastaré y desmenuzaré como lodo de las calles.

Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

Tú me libertarás, Señor, de las contradicciones de mi pueblo; me conservarás para que sea yo la cabeza de las naciones; un pueblo a quien no conozco me servirá.
Tú me libraste de contiendas de pueblos: tú me guardaste para que fuese cabeza de gentes: pueblos que no conocía, me sirvieron.
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
Los hijos extraños me harán resistencia; mas oyéndome, me obedecerán.
Los extraños titubeaban á mí: en oyendo, me obedecían.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
Estos hijos extraños se desmayarán así que yo les mire, y se encogerán de miedo en sus escondrijos.
Los extraños desfallecían, y temblaban en sus escondrijos.
Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.
Vive para siempre el Señor, y bendito sea mi Dios. Sea engrandecido el Dios fuerte que me ha salvado.
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; sea ensalzado el Dios, la roca de mi salvamento:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
Tú, oh Dios, que me has vengado, y has derribado naciones a mis pies,
El Dios que me ha vengado, y sujeta los pueblos debajo de mí;
It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
tú eres el que me has sacado de las manos de mis enemigos, y me has ensalzado sobre los que me resistían; y tú el que me librarás del hombre inicuo.
Y que me saca de entre mis enemigos: tú me sacaste en alto de entre los que se levantaron contra mí: librásteme del varón de iniquidades.
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
Por todo lo cual cantaré, oh Señor, tus alabanzas en medio de las naciones, y entonaré cánticos en honor de tu santo nombre.
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
A ti, que has salvado milagrosamente al rey que has escogido, y usas de tantas misericordias con David tu cristo , o ungido, y las usarás con su descendencia para siempre.
El que engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David, y á su simiente, para siempre.
He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”
