10David sentit battre son cœur, après qu’il eut ainsi fait le dénombrement du peuple. Et il dit à l’Éternel: J’ai commis un grand péché en faisant cela! Maintenant, ô Éternel, daigne pardonner l’iniquité de ton serviteur, car j’ai complètement agi en insensé!

10And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
