2 Samuel 24

OR l'ira del Signore si accese di nuovo contro ad Israele; ed egli incitò Davide contro ad essi, dicendo: Va', annovera Israele e Giuda.

Y VOLVIÓ el furor de Jehová á encenderse contra Israel, é incitó á David contra ellos á que dijese: Ve, cuenta á Israel y á Judá.

And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

Again the LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he moved David against them, saying, “Go, count Israel and Judah.”

E il re disse a Ioab, capo dell'esercito ch'era appresso di lui: Or va' attorno per tutte le tribù d'Israele, da Dan fino in Beerseba, e annoverate il popolo, acciocchè io ne sappia il numero.

Y dijo el rey á Joab, general del ejército que tenía consigo: Rodea todas las tribus de Israel, desde Dan hasta Beer-seba, y contad el pueblo, para que yo sepa el número de la gente.

For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people.

The king said to Joab the captain of the army, who was with him, “Now go back and forth through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and count the people, that I may know the sum of the people.”

E Ioab disse al re: Il Signore Iddio tuo accresca il popolo per cento cotanti, e faccia che gli occhi del re, mio signore, il veggano. E perchè vuole questa cosa il re, mio signore?

Y Joab respondió al rey: Añada Jehová tu Dios al pueblo cien veces tanto como son, y que lo vea mi señor el rey; mas ¿para qué quiere esto mi señor el rey?

And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?

Joab said to the king, “Now may the LORD your God add to the people, however many they may be, one hundred times; and may the eyes of my lord the king see it. But why does my lord the king delight in this thing?”

Ma la parola del re prevalse a Ioab, ed a' capi dell'esercito. Laonde Ioab, ed i capi dell'esercito ch'erano davanti al re, si partirono per annoverare il popolo d'Israele.

Empero la palabra del rey pudo más que Joab, y que los capitanes del ejército. Salió pues Joab, con los capitanes del ejército, de delante del rey, para contar el pueblo de Israel.

Notwithstanding the king’s word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel.

E passarono il Giordano, e si accamparono in Aroer, a man destra della città che è in mezzo del torrente di Gad, ed appresso di Iazer.

Y pasando el Jordán asentaron en Aroer, á la mano derecha de la ciudad que está en medio de la arroyada de Gad y junto á Jazer.

And they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer:

Poi vennero in Galaad, e nel paese delle contrade basse, cioè in Hodsi; poi vennero in Dan-Iaan, e ne' contorni di Sidon.

Después vinieron á Galaad, y á la tierra baja de Absi: y de allí vinieron á Dan-jaán y alrededor de Sidón.

Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtim-hodshi; and they came to Dan-jaan, and about to Zidon,

Poi vennero alla fortezza di Tiro, e in tutte le città degli Hivvei e de' Cananei; poi di là procedettero verso la parte meridionale di Giuda, in Beerseba.

Y vinieron luego á la fortaleza de Tiro, y á todas las ciudades de los Heveos y de los Cananeos; y salieron al mediodía de Judá, á Beer-seba.

And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beer-sheba.

Così circuirono tutto il paese, e ritornarono in Gerusalemme in capo di nove mesi e venti giorni.

Y después que hubieron andado toda la tierra, volvieron á Jerusalem al cabo de nueve meses y veinte días.

E Ioab diede al re il numero della descrizione del popolo; e d'Israele vi erano ottocentomila uomini valenti che potevano tirar la spada; e di que' di Giuda cinquecentomila.

Y Joab dió la cuenta del número del pueblo al rey; y fueron los de Israel ochocientos mil hombres fuertes que sacaban espada; y de los de Judá quinientos mil hombres.

And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

E Davide fu tocco nel cuore, dopo che egli ebbe annoverato il popolo. E Davide disse al Signore: Io ho gravemente peccato in ciò che io ho fatto; ma ora, Signore, rimovi, ti prego, l'iniquità del tuo servitore; perciocchè io ho fatta una gran follia.

Y después que David hubo contado el pueblo, punzóle su corazón; y dijo David á Jehová: Yo he pecado gravemente por haber hecho esto; mas ahora, oh Jehová, ruégote que quites el pecado de tu siervo, porque yo he obrado muy neciamente.

And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

David’s heart struck him after he had counted the people. David said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly in that which I have done. But now, the LORD, put away, I beg you, the iniquity of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.”

Ed essendosi Davide levato la mattina, il Signore parlò al profeta Gad, Veggente di Davide, dicendo:

Y por la mañana, cuando David se hubo levantado, fué palabra de Jehová á Gad profeta, vidente de David, diciendo:

For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying,

Va', e di' a Davide: Così ha detto il Signore: Io ti propongo tre cose; eleggitene una, ed io te la farò.

Ve, y di á David: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tres cosas te ofrezco: tú te escogerás una de ellas, la cual yo haga.

Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

“Go and speak to David, ‘The LORD says, “I offer you three things. Choose one of them, that I may do it to you.”’”

Gad adunque venne a Davide, e gli rapportò la cosa, e gli disse: Qual cosa vuoi tu che ti avvenga? o sett'anni di fame nel tuo paese; o che tu fugga per tre mesi davanti a' tuoi nemici, e ch'essi ti perseguitino; o che per tre giorni vi sia pestilenza nel tuo paese? Ora considera, e vedi ciò che io ho da rispondere a colui che mi ha mandato.

Vino pues Gad á David, é intimóle, y díjole: ¿Quieres que te vengan siete años de hambre en tu tierra? ¿ó que huyas tres meses delante de tus enemigos, y que ellos te persigan? ¿ó que tres días haya pestilencia en tu tierra? Piensa ahora, y mira qué responderé al que me ha enviado.

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

So Gad came to David, and told him, saying, “Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or will you flee three months before your foes while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days’ pestilence in your land? Now answer, and consider what answer I shall return to him who sent me.”

Allora Davide disse a Gad: Io son grandemente distretto: deh! caggiamo nelle mani del Signore; perciocchè le sue compassioni son grandi; e ch'io non caggia nelle mani degli uomini.

Entonces David dijo á Gad: En grande angustia estoy: ruego que caiga en la mano de Jehová, porque sus miseraciones son muchas, y que no caiga yo en manos de hombres.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

David said to Gad, “I am in distress. Let us fall now into the LORD’s hand, for his mercies are great. Let me not fall into man’s hand.”

Il Signore adunque mandò una pestilenza in Israele, da quella mattina fino al termine posto; e morirono settantamila uomini del popolo, da Dan fino in Beerseba.

Y envió Jehová pestilencia á Israel desde la mañana hasta el tiempo señalado: y murieron del pueblo, desde Dan hasta Beer-seba, setenta mil hombres.

So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand men.

E l'Angelo stese la sua mano sopra Gerusalemme, per farvi il guasto; ma il Signore si pentì di quel male, e disse all'Angelo che faceva il guasto fra il popolo: Basta, rallenta ora la tua mano. Or l'Angelo del Signore era presso dell'aia di Arauna Gebuseo.

Y como el ángel extendió su mano sobre Jerusalem para destruirla, Jehová se arrepintió de aquel mal, y dijo al ángel que destruía el pueblo: Basta ahora; detén tu mano. Entonces el ángel de Jehová estaba junto á la era de Arauna Jebuseo.

And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

When the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented of the disaster, and said to the angel who destroyed the people, “It is enough. Now withdraw your hand.” The LORD’s angel was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

E Davide, avendo veduto l'Angelo che percoteva il popolo, disse al Signore: Ecco, io ho peccato, io ho operato iniquamente; ma queste pecore che hanno fatto? Deh! sia la tua mano sopra me, e sopra la casa di mio padre.

Y David dijo á Jehová, cuando vió al ángel que hería al pueblo: Yo pequé, yo hice la maldad: ¿qué hicieron estas ovejas? Ruégote que tu mano se torne contra mí, y contra la casa de mi padre.

And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father’s house.

David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, “Behold, I have sinned, and I have done perversely; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand be against me, and against my father’s house.”

E Gad venne in quel dì a Davide, e gli disse: Sali, rizza un altare al Signore nell'aia di Arauna Gebuseo.

Y Gad vino á David aquel día, y díjole: Sube, y haz un altar á Jehová en la era de Arauna Jebuseo.

And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.

Gad came that day to David and said to him, “Go up, build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”

E Davide salì, secondo la parola di Gad, come il Signore avea comandato.

Y subió David, conforme al dicho de Gad, que Jehová le había mandado.

And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded.

E Arauna riguardò, e vide il re e i suoi servitori che venivano a lui. Ed Arauna uscì fuori, e s'inchinò al re con la faccia verso terra.

Y mirando Arauna, vió al rey y á sus siervos que pasaban á él. Saliendo entonces Arauna, inclinóse delante del rey hacia tierra.

And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground.

Araunah looked out, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him. Then Araunah went out and bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.

Poi disse: Perchè è venuto il re, mio signore, al suo servitore? E Davide disse: Per comperar de te quest'aia, per edificarvi un altare al Signore; acciocchè questa piaga sia arrestata d'in sul popolo.

Y Arauna dijo: ¿Por qué viene mi señor el rey á su siervo? Y David respondió: Para comprar de ti la era, para edificar altar á Jehová, á fin de que la mortandad cese del pueblo.

And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Araunah said, “Why has my lord the king come to his servant?” David said, “To buy your threshing floor, to build an altar to the LORD, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”

E Arauna disse a Davide: Il re, mio signore, prenda, ed offerisca ciò che gli piacerà; ecco questi buoi per l'olocausto; e queste trebbie e questi arnesi da buoi per legne.

Y Arauna dijo á David: Tome y sacrifique mi señor el rey lo que bien le pareciere; he aquí bueyes para el holocausto; y trillos y otros pertrechos de bueyes para leña:

And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.

Araunah said to David, “Let my lord the king take and offer up what seems good to him. Behold, the cattle for the burnt offering, and the threshing sledges and the yokes of the oxen for the wood.

Il re Arauna donò tutte queste cose al re, e gli disse: Il Signore Iddio tuo ti gradisca.

Todo lo da como un rey Arauna al rey. Luego dijo Arauna al rey: Jehová tu Dios te sea propicio.

All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.

All this, O king, does Araunah give to the king.” Araunah said to the king, “May the LORD your God accept you.”

Ma il re disse ad Arauna: No; anzi del tutto compererò queste cose da te per prezzo, e non offerirò al Signore Iddio mio olocausti che io abbia avuti in dono. Davide adunque comperò l'aia e i buoi per cinquanta sicli d'argento.

Y el rey dijo á Arauna: No, sino por precio te lo compraré; porque no ofreceré á Jehová mi Dios holocaustos por nada. Entonces David compró la era y los bueyes por cincuenta siclos de plata.

And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

The king said to Araunah, “No, but I will most certainly buy it from you for a price. I will not offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God which cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

E Davide edificò quivi un altare al Signore, e offerì olocausti e sacrificii da render grazie. E il Signore fu placato inverso il paese, e la piaga fu arrestata d'in su Israele.

Y edificó allí David un altar á Jehová, y sacrificó holocaustos y pacíficos; y Jehová se aplacó con la tierra, y cesó la plaga de Israel.

And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
