23Pero aun así no se fue a un lado, entonces Abner le dio un golpe en el estómago con su lanza, de modo que la lanza salió a su espalda; y descendió sobre la tierra, herido de muerte; y todos los que llegaron al lugar donde Asael cayó muerto, se detuvieron.

23Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

23Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
