26Então Abner gritou para Joabe e disse: “A espada devorará para sempre? Você não sabe que isso trará amargura no fim? Quanto tempo vai demorar até que você ordene ao povo que pare de perseguir seus irmãos?”

26Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

26Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
