4Y vinieron allí los hombres de Judá, y lo ungieron y consagraron como rey a David sobre el pueblo de Judá. Y llegó a David la noticia de que fueron los hombres de Jabes de Galaad quienes enterraron el cuerpo de Saúl.

4Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.
