2 Samuel 2

ORA, dopo questo, Davide domandò il Signore, dicendo: Salirò io in alcuna delle città di Giuda? E il Signore gli disse: Sali. E Davide disse: Dove salirò io? E il Signore disse: In Hebron.

DESPUÉS de esto aconteció que David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Subiré á alguna de las ciudades de Judá? Y Jehová le respondió: Sube. Y David tornó á decir: ¿A dónde subiré? Y él le dijo: A Hebrón.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

After this, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” He said, “To Hebron.”

Davide adunque salì là, con le sue due mogli, Ahinoam Izreelita, ed Abigail ch'era stata moglie di Nabal da Carmel.

Y David subió allá, y con él sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal del Carmelo.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.

Davide vi menò eziandio la gente ch'era con lui, ciascuno con la sua famiglia; e dimorarono nella città di Hebron.

Y llevó también David consigo los hombres que con él habían estado, cada uno con su familia; los cuales moraron en las ciudades de Hebrón.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

E que' di Giuda vennero, e unsero quivi Davide per re sopra la casa di Giuda. Or fu rapportato e detto a Davide: Que' di Iabes di Galaad son quelli che hanno seppellito Saulle.

Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

E Davide mandò de' messi a que' di Iabes di Galaad, e fece loro dire: Benedetti siate voi appo il Signore; perciocchè avete usata questa benignità inverso il vostro signore Saulle, d'averlo seppellito.

Y envió David mensajeros á los de Jabes de Galaad, diciéndoles: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis hecho esta misericordia con vuestro señor Saúl en haberle dado sepultura.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

Ora dunque il Signore usi inverso voi benignità e verità; io ancora vi renderò questo bene, che voi avete fatto in questo affare.

Ahora pues, Jehová haga con vosotros misericordia y verdad; y yo también os haré bien por esto que habéis hecho.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Now may the LORD show loving kindness and truth to you. I also will reward you for this kindness, because you have done this thing.

Perciò sieno ora le vostre mani rinforzate, e portatevi da valenti uomini; perciocchè Saulle, vostro signore, è morto; ma la casa di Giuda mi ha unto per re sopra loro.

Esfuércense pues ahora vuestras manos, y sed valientes; pues que muerto Saúl vuestro señor, los de la casa de Judá me han ungido por rey sobre ellos.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Or Abner, figliuolo di Ner, capo dell'esercito di Saulle, prese Isboset, figliuolo di Saulle, e lo fece passare in Mahanaim.

E lo costituì re sopra Galaad, e sopra gli Asurei, e sopra Izreel, e sopra Efraim, e sopra Beniamino, e sopra tutto Israele.

Y alzólo por rey sobre Galaad, y sobre Gessuri, y sobre Jezreel, y sobre Ephraim, y sobre Benjamín, y sobre todo Israel.

Isboset, figliuolo di Saulle, era d'età di quarant'anni, quando cominciò a regnare sopra Israele, e regnò due anni. Ma la casa di Giuda seguitava Davide.

De cuarenta años era Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, cuando comenzó á reinar sobre Israel; y reinó dos años. Sola la casa de Judá seguía á David.

E lo spazio del tempo che Davide fu re in Hebron, sopra la casa di Giuda, fu di sett'anni, e di sei mesi.

Y fué el número de los días que David reinó en Hebrón sobre la casa de Judá, siete años y seis meses.

OR Abner, figliuol di Ner, uscì, con la gente d'Isboset, figliuolo di Saulle, di Mahanaim, e venne in Gabaon.

And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

Ioab, figliuolo di Seruia, uscì anch'esso con la gente di Davide; e si scontrarono insieme presso allo stagno di Gabaon; e gli uni si fermarono presso allo stagno di qua, e gli altri presso allo stagno di là.

Y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y los siervos de David, salieron y encontráronlos junto al estanque de Gabaón: y como se juntaron, paráronse los unos de la una parte del estanque, y los otros de la otra.

Allora Abner disse a Ioab: Deh! levinsi alcuni fanti, ed armeggino in nostra presenza. E Ioab disse: Levinsi pure.

Y dijo Abner á Joab: Levántense ahora los mancebos, y maniobren delante de nosotros. Y Joab respondió: Levántense.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner said to Joab, “Please let the young men arise and compete before us!” Joab said, “Let them arise!”

Quegli adunque si levarono, e passarono in numero uguale; dodici dalla parte di Beniamino, e d'Isboset, figliuolo di Saulle, e dodici della gente di Davide.

Entonces se levantaron, y en número de doce, pasaron de Benjamín de la parte de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl; y doce de los siervos de David.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

E ciascun di loro prese il suo compagno per la testa, e gli ficcò la spada nel fianco; e tutti insieme caddero morti. Per ciò fu quel luogo chiamato. Helcat-hassurim, ch'è in Gabaon.

Y cada uno echó mano de la cabeza de su compañero, y metióle su espada por el costado, cayendo así á una; por lo que fué llamado aquel lugar, Helcath-assurim, el cual está en Gabaón.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

Poi in quel dì vi fu una molto aspra battaglia; ed Abner, con la gente d'Israele fu sconfitto dalla gente di Davide.

Y hubo aquel día una batalla muy recia, y Abner y los hombres de Israel fueron vencidos de los siervos de David.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

Or quivi erano i tre figliuoli di Seruia, Ioab, ed Abisai ed Asael; ed Asael era leggier di gambe, come un cavriuolo ch'è per la campagna.

Y estaban allí los tres hijos de Sarvia: Joab, y Abisai, y Asael. Este Asael era suelto de pies como un corzo del campo.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Ed Asael si mise a perseguitare Abner, e non si torceva di dietro a lui, nè a destra nè a sinistra.

El cual Asael siguió á Abner, yendo tras de él sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Asahel pursued Abner. He didn’t turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

Ed Abner rivoltosi indietro, gli disse: Sei tu Asael? Ed egli gli disse: Io son desso.

Y Abner miró atrás, y dijo: ¿No eres tú Asael? Y él respondió: Sí.

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is that you, Asahel?” He answered, “It is.”

Ed Abner gli disse: Torciti a destra od a sinistra, e pigliati uno di questi fanti, e prenditi le sue spoglie. Ma Asael non volle torcersi di dietro a lui.

Entonces Abner le dijo: Apártate á la derecha ó á la izquierda, y agárrate alguno de los mancebos, y toma para ti sus despojos. Pero Asael no quiso apartarse de en pos de él.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner said to him, “Turn away to your right hand or to your left, and grab one of the young men, and take his armor.” But Asahel would not turn away from following him.

Ed Abner gli disse di nuovo: Torciti di dietro a me; perchè ti percoterei io, e ti farei cader morto a terra? e come alzerei io poi il viso davanti a Ioab, tuo fratello?

Y Abner tornó á decir á Asael: Apártate de en pos de mí, porque te heriré derribándote en tierra, y después ¿cómo levantaré mi rostro á tu hermano Joab?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn away from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

Ma egli non volle torcersi; laonde Abner lo ferì nella quinta costa, con la punta di dietro della lancia, talchè la lancia gli usciva per dietro; ed egli cadde quivi, e morì in quello stesso luogo; e chiunque veniva a quel luogo, dove Asael giaceva morto, si fermava.

Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

However, he refused to turn away. Therefore Abner with the back end of the spear struck him in the body, so that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there and died in the same place. As many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Ma Ioab ed Abisai perseguitarono Abner; e il sole tramontò, quando giunsero al colle di Amma, il quale è dirincontro a Ghia, in su la via del deserto di Gabaon.

Mas Joab y Abisai siguieron á Abner; y púsoseles el sol cuando llegaron al collado de Amma, que está delante de Gía, junto al camino del desierto de Gabaón.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

Ed i figliuoli di Beniamino si ricolsero dietro ad Abner; e, schieratisi insieme, si fermarono in su la sommità di un colle.

Y juntáronse los hijos de Benjamín en un escuadrón con Abner, y paráronse en la cumbre del collado.

Ed Abner gridò a Ioab, e disse: La spada divorerà ella in perpetuo? non sai tu che vi sarà dell'amaritudine alla fine? infino a quando non comanderai tu alla gente che se ne ritorni dalla caccia dei suoi fratelli?

Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, “Shall the sword devour forever? Don’t you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long will it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?”

E Ioab disse: Come Iddio vive, se tu non avessi parlato, fin dalla mattina la gente se ne sarebbe ritratta, ciascuno indietro dal suo fratello.

Y Joab respondió: Vive Dios que si no hubieras hablado, ya desde esta mañana el pueblo hubiera dejado de seguir á sus hermanos.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

Ioab adunque fece sonar con la tromba; e tutto il popolo si fermò, e non perseguitò più gl'Israeliti, e non continuò più a combattere.

Entonces Joab tocó el cuerno, y todo el pueblo se detuvo, y no siguió más á los de Israel, ni peleó más.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

Ed Abner e la sua gente camminarono tutta quella notte per la campagna; e passarono il Giordano, e traversarono tutta la contrada di Bitron, ed arrivarono in Mahanaim.

Y Abner y los suyos caminaron por la campiña toda aquella noche, y pasando el Jordán cruzaron por todo Bitrón, y llegaron á Mahanaim.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

Ioab se ne ritornò anch'egli di dietro ad Abner; e, adunato tutto il popolo, si trovò che della gente di Davide ne mancavano diciannove, ed Asael.

Joab también volvió de seguir á Abner, y juntando todo el pueblo, faltaron de los siervos de David diecinueve hombres, y Asael.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Ma la gente di Davide avea percossi di que' di Beniamino, e della gente di Abner, trecensessant'uomini, i quali erano morti.

Mas los siervos de David hirieron de los de Benjamín y de los de Abner, trescientos y sesenta hombres, que murieron. Tomaron luego á Asael, y sepultáronlo en el sepulcro de su padre en Beth-lehem.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

But David’s servants had struck Benjamin Abner’s men so that three hundred sixty men died.

Poi tolsero Asael, e lo seppellirono nella sepoltura di suo padre, la quale era in Bet-lehem. E Ioab e la sua gente camminarono tutta quella notte, e giunsero in Hebron in su lo schiarir del giorno.

Y caminaron toda aquella noche Joab y los suyos, y amanecióles en Hebrón.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Beth-lehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
