2 Samuel 2

Und es geschah danach, da befragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich in eine der Städte Judas hinaufziehen? Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zieh hinauf. Und David sprach: Wohin soll ich hinaufziehen? Und er sprach: Nach Hebron.

DESPUÉS de esto aconteció que David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Subiré á alguna de las ciudades de Judá? Y Jehová le respondió: Sube. Y David tornó á decir: ¿A dónde subiré? Y él le dijo: A Hebrón.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

After this, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” He said, “To Hebron.”

Und David zog dort hinauf, und auch seine zwei Frauen, Achinoam, die Jisreelitin, und Abigail, die Frau Nabals, des Karmeliters.

Y David subió allá, y con él sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal del Carmelo.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.

Auch seine Männer, die bei ihm waren, ließ David hinaufziehen, jeden mit seinem Haus; und sie wohnten in den Städten Hebrons.

Y llevó también David consigo los hombres que con él habían estado, cada uno con su familia; los cuales moraron en las ciudades de Hebrón.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

Und die Männer von Juda kamen und salbten dort David zum König über das Haus Juda. Und man berichtete David und sprach: Die Männer von Jabes-Gilead sind es, die Saul begraben haben.

Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

Da sandte David Boten zu den Männern von Jabes-Gilead und ließ ihnen sagen: Gesegnet seid ihr von dem HERRN, dass ihr diese Güte an eurem Herrn, an Saul, erwiesen und ihn begraben habt!

Y envió David mensajeros á los de Jabes de Galaad, diciéndoles: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis hecho esta misericordia con vuestro señor Saúl en haberle dado sepultura.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “Blessed are you by the LORD, that you have shown this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

Und so erweise nun der HERR Güte und Treue an euch; und auch ich will euch dieses Gute vergelten, weil ihr diese Sache getan habt.

Ahora pues, Jehová haga con vosotros misericordia y verdad; y yo también os haré bien por esto que habéis hecho.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Now may the LORD show loving kindness and truth to you. I also will reward you for this kindness, because you have done this thing.

Und nun lasst eure Hände erstarken und seid tüchtige Männer; denn Saul, euer Herr, ist tot, und auch hat das Haus Juda mich zum König über sich gesalbt.

Esfuércense pues ahora vuestras manos, y sed valientes; pues que muerto Saúl vuestro señor, los de la casa de Judá me han ungido por rey sobre ellos.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Abner aber, der Sohn Ners, der Heeroberste Sauls, nahm Isboseth, den Sohn Sauls, und führte ihn hinüber nach Machanaim;

Mas Abner hijo de Ner, general de ejército de Saúl, tomó á Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, é hízolo pasar al real:

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s host, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

und er machte ihn zum König über Gilead und über die Asuriter und über Jisreel und über Ephraim und über Benjamin und über das ganze Israel.

Isboseth, der Sohn Sauls, war 40 Jahre alt, als er König wurde über Israel, und er regierte 2 Jahre; nur das Haus Juda folgte David nach.

De cuarenta años era Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, cuando comenzó á reinar sobre Israel; y reinó dos años. Sola la casa de Judá seguía á David.

Und die Zahl der Tage, die David in Hebron über das Haus Juda König war, betrug 7 Jahre und 6 Monate.

Und Abner, der Sohn Ners, und die Knechte Isboseths, des Sohnes Sauls, zogen aus von Machanaim nach Gibeon;

und auch Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, und die Knechte Davids zogen aus; und sie stießen bei dem Teich von Gibeon aufeinander. Und diese ließen sich nieder auf dieser Seite des Teiches, und jene auf jener Seite des Teiches.

Y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y los siervos de David, salieron y encontráronlos junto al estanque de Gabaón: y como se juntaron, paráronse los unos de la una parte del estanque, y los otros de la otra.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

Da sprach Abner zu Joab: Lass doch die Jünglinge sich aufmachen und vor uns spielen! Und Joab sprach: Sie mögen sich aufmachen.

Y dijo Abner á Joab: Levántense ahora los mancebos, y maniobren delante de nosotros. Y Joab respondió: Levántense.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner said to Joab, “Please let the young men arise and compete before us!” Joab said, “Let them arise!”

Und sie machten sich auf und gingen hinüber, nach der Zahl: zwölf für Benjamin und für Isboseth, den Sohn Sauls, und zwölf von den Knechten Davids.

Entonces se levantaron, y en número de doce, pasaron de Benjamín de la parte de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl; y doce de los siervos de David.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

Und sie ergriffen einer den anderen beim Kopf, und jeder stieß sein Schwert dem anderen in die Seite, und sie fielen zusammen. Und man nannte diesen Ort Helkat-Hazzurim, der bei Gibeon ist.

Y cada uno echó mano de la cabeza de su compañero, y metióle su espada por el costado, cayendo así á una; por lo que fué llamado aquel lugar, Helcath-assurim, el cual está en Gabaón.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

Und der Kampf wurde überaus heftig an jenem Tag; und Abner und die Männer von Israel wurden vor den Knechten Davids geschlagen.

Y hubo aquel día una batalla muy recia, y Abner y los hombres de Israel fueron vencidos de los siervos de David.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

Und es waren dort drei Söhne der Zeruja: Joab und Abisai und Asael. Asael aber war schnell auf seinen Füßen, wie eine der Gazellen, die auf dem Feld sind.

Y estaban allí los tres hijos de Sarvia: Joab, y Abisai, y Asael. Este Asael era suelto de pies como un corzo del campo.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Und Asael jagte Abner nach und bog nicht aus, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken hinter Abner weg.

El cual Asael siguió á Abner, yendo tras de él sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Asahel pursued Abner. He didn’t turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

Da wandte sich Abner um und sprach: Bist du es, Asael? Und er sprach: Ich bin es.

Y Abner miró atrás, y dijo: ¿No eres tú Asael? Y él respondió: Sí.

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is that you, Asahel?” He answered, “It is.”

Da sprach Abner zu ihm: Biege aus zu deiner Rechten oder zu deiner Linken, und greife dir einen von den Jünglingen und nimm dir seine Rüstung! Aber Asael wollte nicht hinter ihm weg weichen.

Entonces Abner le dijo: Apártate á la derecha ó á la izquierda, y agárrate alguno de los mancebos, y toma para ti sus despojos. Pero Asael no quiso apartarse de en pos de él.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner said to him, “Turn away to your right hand or to your left, and grab one of the young men, and take his armor.” But Asahel would not turn away from following him.

Da sprach Abner nochmals zu Asael: Weiche hinter mir weg! Warum soll ich dich zu Boden schlagen? Und wie könnte ich mein Angesicht erheben zu deinem Bruder Joab?

Y Abner tornó á decir á Asael: Apártate de en pos de mí, porque te heriré derribándote en tierra, y después ¿cómo levantaré mi rostro á tu hermano Joab?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn away from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

Aber er weigerte sich zu weichen. Da schlug ihn Abner mit dem hinteren Ende des Speeres in den Bauch, dass der Speer hinten herausfuhr; und er fiel dort und starb an seiner Stelle. Und es geschah, jeder, der an den Ort kam, wo Asael gefallen und gestorben war, der blieb stehen.

Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

However, he refused to turn away. Therefore Abner with the back end of the spear struck him in the body, so that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there and died in the same place. As many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Und Joab und Abisai jagten Abner nach; und die Sonne ging unter, als sie zum Hügel Amma kamen, der vor Giach liegt, auf dem Weg zur Wüste Gibeon.

Mas Joab y Abisai siguieron á Abner; y púsoseles el sol cuando llegaron al collado de Amma, que está delante de Gía, junto al camino del desierto de Gabaón.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

But Joab and Abishai pursued Abner. The sun went down when they had come to the hill of Ammah, that lies before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

Und die Kinder Benjamin sammelten sich hinter Abner her und wurden zu einem Haufen, und sie stellten sich auf den Gipfel eines Hügels.

Y juntáronse los hijos de Benjamín en un escuadrón con Abner, y paráronse en la cumbre del collado.

And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

Und Abner rief Joab zu und sprach: Soll das Schwert immerfort fressen? Weißt du nicht, dass zuletzt Erbitterung sein wird? Und wie lange willst du nicht dem Volk sagen, von der Verfolgung ihrer Brüder umzukehren?

Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, “Shall the sword devour forever? Don’t you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long will it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?”

Da sprach Joab: So wahr Gott lebt, wenn du nicht geredet hättest, dann wäre schon seit dem Morgen das Volk weggezogen, jeder von der Verfolgung seines Bruders!

Y Joab respondió: Vive Dios que si no hubieras hablado, ya desde esta mañana el pueblo hubiera dejado de seguir á sus hermanos.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

Und Joab stieß in die Posaune; da blieb alles Volk stehen, und sie jagten Israel nicht mehr nach und fuhren nicht mehr fort zu kämpfen.

Entonces Joab tocó el cuerno, y todo el pueblo se detuvo, y no siguió más á los de Israel, ni peleó más.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

Und Abner und seine Männer zogen durch die Ebene jene ganze Nacht, und sie setzten über den Jordan und durchzogen das ganze Bitron und kamen nach Machanaim.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

Joab aber kehrte um von der Verfolgung Abners und versammelte das ganze Volk; da wurden von den Knechten Davids 19 Mann vermisst und Asael.

Joab también volvió de seguir á Abner, y juntando todo el pueblo, faltaron de los siervos de David diecinueve hombres, y Asael.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Die Knechte Davids aber hatten von Benjamin und unter den Männern Abners viele erschlagen; 360 Mann waren tot.

Mas los siervos de David hirieron de los de Benjamín y de los de Abner, trescientos y sesenta hombres, que murieron. Tomaron luego á Asael, y sepultáronlo en el sepulcro de su padre en Beth-lehem.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

Und sie hoben Asael auf und begruben ihn in dem Begräbnis seines Vaters, das in Bethlehem war. Und Joab und seine Männer gingen die ganze Nacht, und das Licht brach ihnen an bei Hebron.

Y caminaron toda aquella noche Joab y los suyos, y amanecióles en Hebrón.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Beth-lehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
